Jake Setterlun explains why ads get clicks but don't convert: prospects land on a calendar with no context about your company. He recommends building a strong brand first, then sending prospects a post-booking video after they schedule a call. The video shows your background, client wins, and team, which builds trust and improves show rates and closes.

So I think one of the biggest underrated things to get more sales for your company is having a brand that is literally bulletproof, but then also taking people through those steps of that brand. A lot of people just run ads directly to a calendar, try to get them on a call and sell them. And there's nothing wrong with that. We do that with some of our companies and it just is what it is. But you're not going to have the best show rates. You're not going to have the best close rates in terms of, you know, those actual sales because people really don't, you know, know about your brand. They don't know about the company. They don't know about the owner. So by being able to take them through specific things, Now imagine this. If somebody sees an ad, they click, they book, right? We can keep that. But then after they book, they go through a VSL, video sales letter. And in that video sales letter, you talk a little bit about the background of the company, how long you've been around. You B-roll a couple of client success stories, show some KPIs, show some results, show team members. It starts to create like, oh shit, this is a legit company. You know, they have some depth, they got some client results. Awesome. I'm going to work with them.
