Most men really didn't grow up in an environment where they were encouraged to feel.
Even today, I'm at the park with my 6-year-old, a little boy will start crying and you'll just hear, "Don't cry, you're fine." This is like brand new territory for men to explore feeling. And then we add the last couple of years and desire has become something that can really get you in a lot of hot water. So now you're supposed to feel desire. Can you see how how intense this practice would be for you.
The risks that they're taking in the yoga of intimacy between spending time in the feeler, you know, they're going against programming that's just pervasive. Spending time in desire, you're really doing something revolutionary. I truly mean that.
And then embodying your desire, now you're really taking a risk.
So having compassion for that is, is so important.
But there's something else that women, you can really do when you state your desire, being so embodied, like it's as if it's already happening and he can already see the impact. That just your imagined desire, you know, I want you to make your eyes so intense for your wanting of me that you're pinning me to the wall, right? Like I'm already in what it's going to feel like to get that from him.
My embodiment gives him the confidence to discover his embodiment. Every single thing about that is saying to him, you have permission now with me.
As he's sharing his desire, breathe with him, because if he starts sharing his desire and you—
men can pick up on that and then backpedal, like, wait a minute, this is going to get me in some trouble, or this is too much.
And these men are here because they love you. Like, they don't want to hurt you. And penetrative energy is very penetrative.
You know, it's like you're working with the mm. So women doing solo practice in front of the mirror to name your desires, embody your desires, see what it looks like when you're saying this. You might be like, whoa, I thought I was moving, but I can't see anything in the mirror, you know? Or I thought I was really feeling this, but I can see how scared I am. And then you can do solo practice in the mirror of not only knowing your desires, naming them, embodying them, and thereby giving him all of this permission. What's so beautiful about this art form is we're waking up. We're bringing conscious love into places that, you know, were swept under the rug.
