In this monologue, the speaker addresses men who feel trapped by the idea of losing freedom when they consider commitment. He argues that the core problem is a lack of clear, consistent direction in the relationship. Men must learn to "claim"—to state unequivocally that they are present, staying, and not going anywhere—so their partner can fully surrender. The speaker warns that some men misuse this claiming skill as a short‑term power play, which ultimately disempowers the woman and erodes polarity. He uses the tango dancer metaphor to illustrate the masculine role as the lead who knows the choreography and guides the tempo, allowing the feminine to follow safely. The overarching message is that the masculine partner is responsible for creating the relational container, defining where the relationship is headed, and maintaining the masculine‑feminine polarity, otherwise the partnership becomes wishy‑washy and the woman can never fully trust or surrender.

The real piece that I want to articulate that's so important about that is there's a lot of dudes in the world who have no idea where they're going with the relationship, mostly because they're obsessed and attached to their freedom. And if they are to commit to something, they lose this freedom. So they're afraid to commit in the moment, let alone 10, 20 years from now. The role of the structure playing partner in intimacy is to define, "I'm with you. I'm not with you. I'm with you. I'm not going anywhere. I'm not with you." If you can't provide that clarity, it's already going to be wishy-washy and intimate. She can't surrender to you fully, period. She can't surrender to that fully. She could surrender 70%, you know, 75%. It could be good, but she can't surrender 100% to that. She can't trust it. It's impossible to trust. I wouldn't trust it. Who would trust that? Like, I'm kind of in, I'm kind of out, I don't really know. So that's occurring inside of the moment right here. You're responsible for the relationship. Is this on or is this off? So one way this looks is I'm with you, I'm not going anywhere. Yeah, but I— the drama comes up. Oh, you know, I'm afraid I'm gonna lose your love, whatever the story is. You cut right through that bullshit. I'm not going anywhere. I don't care what you do. I'm right here. That's claiming in the moment. That's what that energetic field feels like. That's the training we're doing here. We're teaching you how to do it in your body in so many different ways. The idea is learning to train claim in the present moment. That's fantastic. A lot of people learn that one skill and then go out into the world and powerfully claim women in the moment with no intention of talking to them the next day, and they weaponize the teaching. Where now you have all the skills to manifest intense claim in a woman, and she's in it because you know how to do it, and then the next moment you're like, "Yeah, yeah, but you know what, my freedom, my purpose, my whatever." So, what this chapter is about is she's not responsible for guiding whether or not you're going to be in relationship or if you're going to move in together, if you're going to do this or that. The second you hand that over, it masculinizes her and polarity is lost in the dynamic and you will feel pussy whipped in a certain way. And it's just because there's a misunderstanding of who's in charge of where this relationship is going. I'm with you for the long haul, not going anywhere. This is where we're going. So imagine like a tango dancer with a woman. He's the lead, she's the follow. He knows exactly which step he's going to do in the dance. He's the one guiding the tempo of the dance. He knows exactly every step he's gonna take before the dance is over. He might improvise along the way and shit changes and gets interesting, becomes artistic, but ultimately he knows where this dance is going. He knows that she can surrender into. If you don't have that, you are torturing her and you will not have a fully surrendered woman in your life. You can't. It doesn't work that way. Partially. So I just want to emphasize, as the masculine pain partner in dynamic, it is up to you to create that container. This is where this relationship is going.
