In this monologue, Justin Patrick Pierce argues that when men suppress or reject their partner’s femininity and emotional expression, they also diminish the partner’s sexual energy and intimacy. He describes an idealized scenario where a partner is emotionally neutral in daily life but explosively passionate in the bedroom, and explains that forcing women into purely functional, non‑emotive roles erodes that passion. Men who seek his coaching are encouraged to deepen their masculinity by embracing sensitivity and learning to hold their partner’s emotional turbulence without granting permission for chaos or reactivity. Pierce stresses that it is the man’s responsibility to sift through his partner’s complaints, sadness, anger, and indecisiveness to uncover underlying wisdom, rather than leaving her to navigate it alone. When practiced skillfully, this creates a dynamic where the woman becomes an “oracle” for the relationship, freely expressing herself both inside and outside the bedroom, leading to richer lovemaking and deeper connection.

In whatever ways we suppress or reject her femininity, we suppress or reject the totality of her femininity. You don't get both. In an ideal man's world, you would have a partner who is perfectly behaved, neutral, non-emotional, logical, happy, enjoyable to be around. And then when you get into the bedroom, you'd have this explosive experience. But what we tend to do is when a woman's forced to take on these very functional roles in life, not welcome to emote, not welcome to express, not welcome to X, Y, and Z, She loses that sexual energy in the bedroom. It's compromised. So from here, if you haven't yet, everyone take in a full breath. As you exhale, opening the eyes. So this is what we're working with. And men who come to this work are interested in finding out, how do I deepen my masculinity? How do I show up as a better partner? How do I have deeper lovemaking, deeper intimate connection with somebody? This is the process of that. It's embracing this level of sensitivity. But what's very important to recognize, and the mistake a lot of people make, is this does not give your partner permission to spew venom at you. This isn't just permission for whatever mood is there. It's okay. It's not permission for reactivity and chaos to just ensue inside of your life. That is not the practice. That is not the practice. That is not the practice that we're talking about here. There's something far more intelligent behind this practice than that. And she can't find that on her own. When she gives you her complaint, her criticism, her chaos, her indecisiveness, her floundering, her sadness, her anger, It's very difficult for her to be in that feeling space and actually know what's the truth, what's wisdom, what's the gift, and what's just absolute bullshit. And when you're in a two-bodied practice, that's not her responsibility. If you're in relationship with her, it's your responsibility, it's your job to search for the wisdom in all that she's bringing to you. Everything she feels is processed through the filter of your clarity of consciousness. And when this is done skillfully, artfully, you can feel your woman opening to you moment to moment. She literally starts to become your oracle inside and outside of the bedroom. You no longer suppress or shut down her emotional chaos, and therefore when you are in the bedroom You get a woman who's ready to play with you. She's not stuck in function. She's not doubting herself.
