3/11 - Psychology of a Presentation (Convert More)

In this 60‑minute live session Omar El Takrori explains how successful presentations and web‑classes work by engineering a feeling that makes the audience want to buy, rather than trying to force a purchase. He defines mastery as the unconscious execution of intentional tactics such as countdowns, brand association, pre‑framing, engagement prompts, storytelling, and pricing anchors. Omar shows how a single “staple” presentation can be repurposed across webinars, podcasts, and conferences, and walks through the exact sequence he uses: opening with a high‑energy countdown, building credibility through association with well‑known figures, humanizing with personal photos, eliciting chat participation, asking open‑ended “why” questions, using pain‑based titles, and finally stacking the offer with a clear value‑vs‑price comparison. He also shares practical advice on timing, slide design, community‑building, handling churn, and testing ad spend. The session ends with a Q&A where participants ask about class length, optimal timing, title creation, and running web‑classes with small audiences. Throughout, Omar’s tone is conversational, enthusiastic, and instructional, emphasizing empathy, intentionality, and the psychological principle that people buy when they feel the purchase.

People buy things from you and I, from companies, from brands, because of one reason only, and that is because they feel like it. So the question you must always consistently ask yourself is, what can I do to get people not to buy? The goal isn't to get people to buy. The goal is to get people to feel like buying. You don't want somebody to buy something that didn't feel like buying it. That's not a good, it's gonna go messy really quickly. But something that I feel like a theme that took place in the first 30 minutes of sharing wins and stuff on this call was, you know, I'm just more intentional, I'm more intentional. I was on a phone call with one of my good friends on the way here to the studio this morning and I was just giving him game like crazy, like I always do, you know? And he's like, Dang, Omar. He's like, you're just so intentional with everything you do. And I was like, you know what's crazy though, Steve, is I'm not trying to be. That's the scary part for my competition. You think I'm trying to be intentional. No, I just am. This is why there's a difference between trying to be intentional and being intentional. So I say that because What I'm gonna share today, and really what I did was I cut up a few things that I do in my web class that are hyper-intentional, but I don't, I'm not, in the moment, I am not consciously doing it. It has become, it's become mastery. That's why we call mastery. What is mastery? Mastery is the ability to execute a skill unconsciously. Without the use of conscious resources. So if there's a try in you, it's only because you're still learning. But the goal is to hit mastery so that when somebody gives you a stage, boom, like, you know, I'm selling, baby. Whether you like it or not, this is an opportunity to get people to feel. And when I say feel like buying, Don't take on like this weird, it really is, it's feel like taking a next step. People won't do it unless you get them to feel like it. So I would say one of the, yeah, one of the biggest downsides of putting an ad in my podcast is like the podcast doesn't always make somebody feel like buying. Like they're, them learning and learning by me is creating a feeling in them to maybe one day buy from me. So like, That's what that's doing. But I'm just saying like on a direct like sales standpoint, this is why the web class presentation, I'm telling you guys, like it sounds so boring, but if your business doesn't have a staple presentation, you're sleeping. And by staple presentation, you could take this presentation to a conference. You could take this presentation on a podcast. You could take this presentation on a Zoom call. Like, You never need to feel like you have to recreate something brand new. If you master your introductory presentation, you'll be so good at it that you can recontextualize it for whatever room you're in, right? So I'm not gonna get into how to create a masterclass in this because we did that and I think I, I did as much as I could and gave everything as far as creating this. Now, with that being said, let's get into, I'm just gonna be, I'm gonna play some things and I'm gonna tell you what I did and why I did it. Does that sound good? Y'all ready for this? Da na na na na, da na na na na. All right. And this is literally, I wish, I wish, I wish I had this when I first got started. Because you don't know what you don't know. And like you see people winning online and you don't realize that they have achieved a skill of pre-framing, of persuasion, of selling without selling that like you don't even know until you get, like some of you guys are gonna get bit today by the bug and you'll never see it the same. And that's what my hope is. Now when you guys go through my, the challenge again, just to learn, you're gonna see it and you're gonna be watching what I'm doing and how I'm doing it. And then you'll know why I'm doing it. So, but this is from my web class literally 2 weeks ago that we saw. So I'm gonna just be jumping back and forth. Hopefully this is smooth. So the first thing I wanna bring up is the countdown. So this is Gabriel from Massachusetts. Throw it in. Where are you watching from? I wanna see. So maybe it's obvious, maybe it's not so obvious, but the reason why I start with a countdown music is to create the energy, right? Like the, I mean, I, I don't know if you, if you guys could be the fun version of learning, be that. There's like, there's too many dry learning environments that like you will stand out by simply adding a level of vibe, right? But that is a surface level thing. The deeper thing that I've done here with this countdown is the association. So when I told Art like, "Hey, I need you to make me countdowns," it is an opportunity to build brand simply because of the association. Now, some people might not even know who these people are. Like, I know who these people are. This is Russell Brunson, you know, Ryan Pineda is a friend. "Myron was in the clip, Luke at Lewis Howes. Now Omar, Omar, I don't have these people. I'm not hanging out with cool people like you are." Okay, do you do the thing though? Like, are you meeting with clients? Are you shaking hands in some capacity? Like, it could be testimonials. If you have videos of people saying like, working with Chris has absolutely changed my life. I started working with him and it's just the countdown. So I call this digital real estate. Most people don't use this. So before we even started the call, you're like, bro, Omar is the man. Like there's a conversation happening in people's mind that like, oh wow, Omar's connected, bro. And like what does Alex and Leila Hormozi, they say brand is simply the correlation between two things, the association between two things. So if people associate me with people that you hold in high regard, then that in a moment, just by like in a few seconds is building brand, right? So that's the point of the countdown. I don't just do a countdown just to do a countdown. And this is where it's like, Yeah, I'm not trying to be intentional here. This is just being intentional. Like it just is. And, and during the challenge, something we're gonna do is from the, um, uh, save all your questions to the end. 'Cause I, I will, I'll, I'll, let's, I'll rapid fire all your guys' questions. So Lisa, uh, Liz, you're good. I'll answer that. Um, so in the challenge, I'm going to, in between the VIP and the GA call, I'm gonna put testimonials, you just, you guys sharing like wins like crazy and, and then it's just gonna hype people up. So just like it's dead space anyway. Okay. So then once the countdown, oh, and another thing I wanna mention, getting people to engage. If your chat is dead, if the room is dead, like you're, you're not that good of a communicator. Like a good communicator yields engagement. It doesn't matter the room you're in. Why do I say that? Because you make people engage. So here's something I learned from Myron. Number one, you tell people what to say. You tell people what to do. Hey, put it in the chat, where are you watching from? And then people put in the chat and then I'm acknowledging them. So like, that's like breaking a wall. Like, dang, this guy, who I've only seen online do one-way content. I'm now, I'm just like, the call hasn't even started and we're going back and forth already. This is so cool, right? This is like what's happening in people's mind. When you're on a stage, you don't ask questions like yes or no or raise your hand if. No, you tell people what to say. If you're ready to take your life to the next level, say yes. Don't give them an option. Who here wants to take their life to the next level? No, tell them what to say. If you're ready to build your personal brand this year and be discovered as the person you are and serve the people you're called to serve, say me, put me in the chat. Take away the thinking work from the people, but get the engagement. Cool, cool, all right, so then I proceed to start the, the call, and this is a very, and by the way, you guys have the permission to steal everything I do, okay? I just wanna be very clear up front, like, that's why you doing this program. If you find your version of what I'm teaching and doing it your way, beautiful. Until then, just copy me, all right? Take my countdown for, no, I'm just kidding, don't take my countdown. Okay, dude, what coach is gonna tell you that? Ain't nobody gonna tell you that. Anyway, okay. So good. I appreciate you guys for hopping on this special call that we're doing. I know you— I don't know everything about you, but if there's something I do know, I know this, that you are on a journey and you're on a journey of discovering, a journey of, you know, you feel a tug, Maybe that's a tug from within or an inner voice, or some of you, maybe the Holy Spirit that is feeling a tug toward a better future. I would just imagine that's why you're here. And so I wanna acknowledge you and just honor you for showing up today. I promise, I'll give you my word that today will be, just this call, will be a call that will give you some keys for that next step. That here, before I get into— all right, so by me just acknowledging where people are at, it, it makes people— it— this is just like, that was a trust-building moment. Hey, I don't take, I don't take your attention lightly, and, and I just want to say you're going down the right path. This guy in this space with the path that you're on that's the right path you're going down. Like, so, and because all people are doing is they're wondering if, I wonder if this is like the right thing. Like, I wonder if I'm learning the right information. I wonder if Omar's the right guy. I wonder, I want, like, if by getting ahead of those things, you could like nip, I like, sorry for the, I don't have a better way of putting it. Like, you can nip these things in the butt. Like, just break the wall, make it clear. And I mean, again, I'm not trying to be empathetic. I am empathetic. Like, I am, I'm a shepherd. I really do care. But if I don't do these things, then people won't know that. And like, I just wanna tell you guys, in a world where like everyone is discouraged and unseen, When somebody says, hey, I see you, you're on a journey and like, there is so much for you. And like, this is, I hate to say that this is a pattern interrupt. Like being a source of encouragement is a pattern interrupt with everybody who's online, just cussing up a storm, like blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Like I would, I'm just letting you know the upside there is to this. It's not crowded. It is not crowded to be a good person online, 'cause everybody just wants people's money. So I'm just saying that moment is intentional in that I'm just empathizing with the fact that they're on a journey and that there's something great inside of them. Cool, all right, and then this is really, I'm not even into the presentation yet. And this is all that's happening. So this is the next part of the, uh, the presentation. This, um, I always like every time I have the opportunity and privilege to, to serve in this capacity, AKA teach, I always want to preface my teaching with this principle. I know many of you, many, many of you have either went to live events, conferences, maybe you've done another masterclass or a web class, something like this, or maybe you go to church on Sundays. And the reality is no one has taught us how to learn since grade school. Like, I mean, many of you guys, I see your beautiful faces. Many of you guys are adults here. It— there's a highly likelihood that it's been decades since somebody taught you how to learn. So with that understanding, I want to, I want to help you. I'm going to— I want to help you become a better learner because I— here's what I found. There's, you know, I found that many times the information that's shared in, in situations and contexts like this, the information's always amazing usually, right? But then what's the difference? The difference is you. The difference is where you're at as the person learning. And so I say all that to say, so I'll break down what I tell people what to do, but what did I just do here? Number one is I made everybody else the enemy in life. This whole, the last time you learn, no one has taught you how to learn really up until this point. Then it's like, dang, like Omar is a teacher of teachers, man. Dude, forget my college professors. They didn't teach me how to learn. Like this is what you call in communication confirmation bias. This, you can do things before a talk to get people on your side. And I'm not, and like, I mean, I'm obviously not like, I'm not making people, I'm not putting people on blast per se, but I am saying that like learning has been compromised. Like, so we're bad learners. So that's like number one that I do. Like, and in the idea of academia with this one tactic, I just put myself at a whole new stratosphere just because of the tip. 'Cause people don't talk like this anymore or ever, like not even anymore. Like people aren't helping me learn. They're just saying, write this down. So like you could find these things that make people really listen to you. This is what this does. It's like, oh man. And then I wanna show you something else I did. I quickly, everybody came here for information. Everyone, everyone, you came here, did the masterclass 'cause you wanna learn something. I'm telling you right now, the information's fine. Like, you determine the value of the information. It's like, whoa, like I came here to consume, but I didn't even realize like this could be a waste of my time if I don't prioritize what I'm doing right now. Now I'm getting people to lean in. Like, I mean, it's a Zoom call, guys. Like I know people are driving, people are multitasking, and like there are things that I'm doing just even before we even start the call. And this is highly valuable. Rather than teaching people like what to do in your presentation, like getting ahead of it and telling people how to learn, I just help them in life. Forget this call. They're like, bro, Omar, the countdown just ended and like my life has gotten better before I even got into this call. So these are, this is just like, this is not overwhelming. This is actually positioning. You guys are like, dude, Omar's a mad scientist. Pretty much, I'm like, um, uh, all right. So, so that's what I'm doing here. And then what do I do? I say, hey guys, learning 101, write down exactly what you hear. Okay. Don't we all do that? But like, when's the last time you like did the thing that you wrote down? And I'll tell you why, is because you don't know what you thought of when you wrote it down. You were thinking about something. So here's learning 401. Everyone lean in, everyone lean in, lean in. Write down what you thought of as a result of what you learned or heard. For example, if I say post one video a week, your mind goes film Saturday mornings. I want you to write down film Saturday mornings, not post one time a week. And then people are like, whoa, and they're writing it down. They're like, oh snap, that's Even just the example, people are like, "Oh shoot, I'm going to film on Saturdays." They literally do exactly opposite what I say. They write exactly what I say. But yeah, so it's just, it's really, and as an educator, I think many of us are in an education seat, right? I mean, that's what I help people do is like build your brand by educating. But like, yeah, these are just, I mean, it would take me a month to unpack the challenge because that was just a journey. But like, it's the same thing in the challenge, you know. Uh, I pre— I like the first call, I'm like, you know, you want to be— you know, there's a difference between amateurs and pros. There's always, there's always less pros than there are amateurs. What's the biggest decision? What's the biggest difference? A decision. You decide to be pro or you decide to be amateur. Which one is it going to be? I'm pro, I'm pro, I'm pro. You know, like, put a pro in the chat. But so So this is just getting people to really, to number one, separate myself from other educators. And just like when people become a very intentional student when you teach, I mean, now you're actually doing some work to make them have good soil. It's like what the Bible talks, what Jesus talks about. Like you're helping them become good soil. 'Cause otherwise people aren't like, I mean, ignorance worries a life. The enemy comes and snatch up the seed. Like all these things happen if you don't have good soil, but if you have good soil, the return on that, what you received is always abundant, right? The Bible says 30, 60, and 100 fold. And that's in anything. I think anytime you hear good, and the thing is, It's good to have good soil for even bad information. So you can, what Paul says, like know the difference between sound teaching. When something isn't sound, I hope you're smart enough to know that this is BS. Like I just hope you do, because there's a lot of BS out there, but unfortunately everybody's just lily lagging through life and they can't even spot BS when it shows up in their face. And then what happens is when they get presented offer, they get taken advantage of, and then now you just went down a line, like all because your soil was jacked. Anyway, now I'm ranting. Okay. Okay, moving on. So that's just like, I'm getting people in a learning state. I want people to be in a learning state so that they get, and if they're learning better, then they're going to get results because they're writing down good stuff. So, okay. Learning 101 looks like this. So then what's the next thing you do? As a result. Yeah, as a result of what you heard. Okay. And then the first thing I do when I start my slideshow, I mean there's like the 5 mistakes, but then I ask a question. Yeah. Income, Tiffany said income. So the question is that I ask is what are your content goals this year? Before we get into it, I wanna ask you a question. What are your content goals this year? So, um, this is to yield engagement. Now it is an open-ended question and I just, I'm not in a rush, so I like, I let people put in the chat. Here's the funny thing, everybody puts very like surface level goals. Start my podcast, you know, 100,000 subscribers, a million views, like make money, increase leads, like cool. Yeah, all that stuff. Amazing. So I acknowledge it though. Again, another opportunity to connect with the audience. And then, so what are your content goals this year? So I acknowledge them. Start the YouTube channel consistency, post consistently, reach, to actually do it, to grow my brand growth, find my tribe. We got income. Tiffany said income, let's go. So that's the first part of the first question. The second part of the, The question is, is why? Why? Why do you want to scale that income? Why do you want to start that YouTube channel? Why do you want to find your audience? Why do you want to make that money? Why do you want to be consistent? Why? So then people, you know, and then people put like better answers, right? They're saying like my family. To, you know, influence, to impact people. Like, cool, cool, cool. And then the whole point, everything has a reason, right? The whole point for me to even get to this point is to share my why. And, you know, I have this whole thing where I'm like, you know, your why actually isn't a why, it's a who. I stole that from Rory Vaden. Your why is actually a who. I also stole this from Anthony O'Neill. If your why isn't, your why should make you cry. And I think about all you, like you guys all do really good stuff. Like I really do believe that. Doesn't matter what you, like Sonya, you help people literally build generational wealth by not like just handing over money to the government or the IRS, which is like, they put things in place for us to run by and like nobody's playing by 'em. And let me just show you guys how to play by it so you can pay your kid $14,000 a year tax-free And if you don't do it, say goodbye. Like that's, that's like incredible stuff, right? Like send your kid to school if you're an entrepreneur, 'cause you, 'cause you can, 'cause your business is paying for it, you know? And I think about, you know, Sophie, you helping people get in homes, like first-time home buyers, you, you know, like the power of what we do. Like we are, this is why getting really good at sales and persuasion is imperative because we do a, we really do good work. But we are, our good work is hidden in the midst of all the noise and chaos going on in the world. So we just have to get really good at communication, sales, and persuasion. So then what— You define your why. So then I share a bunch of why stuff. Where's my family picture? Trying to get to my family picture. Nothing wrong with desiring results. Yep. Yep. Omar, stop yapping, bro. There you go. So, so now just by me putting this photo of my family, it, it humanizes me. So you know what I just did was I, I, everything I talked about up to this point, I was like, yo, you know, like Omar's chilling with Myron and Alex and Lewis Howes and like, boom. And then like, dang, Omar is changing my mind around learning. Like, this guy's a brilliant, he's a genius. And it's like, you know, I got, I have a family just like you. So there, you know, this is something, um, actually Drake does like the greatest, like his ability to humanize with his audience. Um, something I've learned even from preaching Because like when you, even on a Sunday, if I don't even open up my mouth, but I'm standing on stage on a Sunday and I have a Bible in my hand and a microphone in my other hand, you know how many guys in their mind are like, look at this freaking dude, probably got it all together, his wife loves him, he's probably perfect. Like, so it's really important that I do something that makes me just human. I mess up too. I got this messed up. Don't we all mess this up? You and I, me, not you, me. There's these things that you can do to humanize you just even by showing a picture. By the way, for whatever it's worth, let your slides be very simple. I have a few slides that are actually a little too busy, I need to fix, but Big pictures, one phrase, one word phrases, like very clean, easy to follow along. So that's, so that like, and then I kind of keep it going. I kind of keep it going with sharing. So it's like more humanizing. Yeah, I know I started this, but it's also authority building. Notice how like being humble also builds authority. People think it's the other way around, like you build authority by going high. No, build authority by going low. So I talk, I mean, I show like 2006, I started making videos, started uploading them to YouTube, and then the glow up goes crazy. So there's, it's like I've done the, like I, and what I'm trying to show is 19 years, like you guys are on this call and you're gonna get 19 years of expertise. That's what you get with me. And then he's just like, look, this presentation, I haven't even gotten to the thing and I've separated myself into my own category at this point where like there's no way, this is why I don't believe in competition. Just be the greatest you could be. Like there's no way another content coach has got this level of insight, intentionality, humility, character. I'm sorry. I mean, just get better everybody. Like, I mean, like, yeah, I'm speaking to content coaches out there. Like these content coaches, like just came in 2020 and they had like, they accidentally got successful. Like I just wanna let you know, you don't accidentally get successful over course of 19 years. You like, you figure it out, you know, like, so then I get into that and then I share like these things, again, humanizing. Hey, I'm one of the pastors at my church. You know, I served in the military. This slide, like so much people, don't assume, I just wanna encourage you, don't assume people know about you. Like anytime you have people's attention and I'm not, I hope you don't get the sense of like, well, I'm, I don't want to keep talking about myself. It's just quick. This is just, you know, one of my favorite things about building a business that allows me to have time freedom, becoming a part-time multimillionaire, is I get to serve at my church. I get to give big, not just with money. I get to give big with my time. If you want to make an impact, you need time to make an impact. You need money to make an impact. So, but all these things are just stacking. And then like the fun comedic thing is just like, I golf. Yeah, I don't know, people, I just make it a thing. And then I wanna play this part. So like, yeah, a lot of people, this is what happens. Thank you for your service. Wow, like, I didn't even know you were in Las Vegas. Like, now there's just all these connecting points taking place. And so, and then the next slide I think is important. I'll let it play. How, you know, what do I do with the people that I guess you could say find me, you know, I find myself doing teaching from a digital standpoint, like Zoom calls, coaching. I have a mastermind. Other times I find myself speaking in very small rooms. I found that speaking in small rooms are more powerful than speaking in big rooms. And here's why, because those small rooms, people pay a lot of money to be in. I kid you not, hear me. 'Cause if you're casual on this call right now, I need to tell you this. Okay. There was a room I spoke in a few months ago, and I was invited to speak on the subject of YouTube and personal branding. There was about 13 people in that room. 3 of that 13 people paid $1 million to be in that room. The other 10 people paid $350,000 to be in that room. Did I teach them anything different than what I'm gonna teach you on this call? Don't tell them this, but the answer is no. So a few things that I did, number one, and, and what I think what, what I really want a lot of you guys to do is just be hyper-aware of the stuff you're doing, right? Like capture it. Like I could have not brought this up. Because I could have played it small. I could have not, dude, as marketers, it is our job to make what we do like the greatest thing ever. So where a room could be a very insignificant, but what did I just do here? I just valued whatever information is gonna come outta my mouth is worth $1 million. And then it's also like, there's a little bit of price, you know, anchoring there too. Like, you know, they're hearing words, they're hearing numbers like $1 million, $1,350,000. And then, you know, if you fast forward, my offer is $197. Like, so that, I mean, that's part of why the conversions are high too. It's like whenever you could, you know, paint bigger, this is why Myron always says it's $40,000 an hour to work with me. If that sounds crazy to you, perfect. That's why I don't want to get on a call. If it sounds amazing to you, book a call. But then when you go through his challenge, his year-long program is $55,000, but you just heard him for weeks and weeks and months and months saying an hour of his time is $40,000. It's like, what is Myron doing? He's intentionally price juxtaposing. He's getting everybody to think before they hear his offer. And he still talks about his $55K offer. It's not like he's like hiding that, but like he's very intentional about saying, I charge $40,000 an hour more than it's $55,000 to join my program. So, and it's because when you hear 55 and it's a year long, you're like, oh snap, this is a steal. Isn't that funny? It's just, dude, sales and marketing feels illegal, but it's not. I hope you know, like, this is all persuasion and it's all true. Like, nothing we're saying is not true. Like, that, I'm not like, what I just said right there, that is actually true. Like, that was real. So it's just, I'm making it, I'm selling it. I'm selling it more than what it was. By the way, guys, that room was trash. They didn't even know what was being put down in that room. I'm just saying. Anyway, that's besides the point. So, so the information is determined by the person who values it. And like, I mean, I would love for you to get to a place where you just like, you just spit principles after principles. You know, there, there's nuance with, with the web class I do, cuz I do it every week up leading up into the challenges. But yeah, I mean like whenever you discover a principle, put that thing in your arsenal because here, here's the powerful thing about principles. Principles, they, they, they are no respecter of person or experience or season or whatever. So when you say things that are so true, when you say a principle, it gets people to nod their head. Like, the information is determined by how much you value it. That is true. All right, moving on. And I did all the dramatic pauses for dramatic effect. It's just funny. But just saying, that was just, I mean, I'm just letting you know, I speak in small rooms. So the game you're gonna get today. Yeah. And then I say I speak in big rooms, blah, blah, blah. Okay. This is really important. I love this. This is, this is good right here. So here's my goal with the time that we have together. This is my goal. My goal is that you will, you'll get so much game in this next time, this next hour we have together that you're gonna be more than happy you came. You're gonna imagine to yourself, what would have happened if I did not come? Some of you guys already got that. Some of y'all already got the nugget. Y'all already got the gem. But this is my goal. My goal is to give you some game that you can use on your next step. The name of the podcast is called The Department with Omar El Takrori. So with that goal, can we make a deal If I do my part, let me know in the chat if we can make a deal. Alanda says yes. Chanta says yes. All right. Art says deal. Um, okay, do you guys know what I just did there? I just broke the wall. Everyone comes to these things and they have a wall up. What's this person gonna sell me? That's just every room you get in. What is this person gonna tell me? That is, I just, that whole thing gone. Shoo. Because I got them to tell me, yes, you could tell me whatever you got, Omar. This is, my goodness, this is good stuff. So I mean, so in the web class, By the way, I mean, this is just a, this is a tactic you can always use. Like in the challenge, day 1, I don't know if you've ever been to stuff like this. People like, it's just a, it's a pitch fest. Everybody just selling, selling, selling, selling, selling. I'm going to, I'm telling you right now, this is not that. I'm not that kind of person. I'm not hard sales. However, a very small group of people on this chat in this group, We'll be presented the opportunity to work together. If you would like me to be a part of your success, you will learn it. You will learn later on this week. Now, I don't want anybody to ask me about it now. Just focus on the learning, focus on the growing, like just get the information. But what I'm doing there is I'm, you know, even on the channel, I'm breaking down the wall. So when you say things like, and this is like that whole like sales, You know, like to not have sales breath. This, doing this makes me not thirsty because the intent here is to just deliver. That's why I'm like, I'm almost done, but I'm not even going to go through my teaching because there's no need to. Because it's like most of you guys have great teaching. Most of you guys are really good at it. It's just the, it's these little things that like get people to what? Feel like buying. I was telling Tina yesterday, we did our one-on-one, and I felt like, I kind of feel, and I don't wanna like over-spiritualize it, but I kind of feel like I'm supposed to pay off my house, like my new house, as soon as I can. Like, I don't know, maybe 3 years. Obviously I'm not trying to like wipe our bank account, in wisdom. But the reason why I wanna pay off my, my house is so that that percentage of sales breath that is in my spirit will be completely gone. When you don't have to make money, people want to give you money. It's crazy. When you don't need somebody's business, they want to give you their business. That's why, I mean, and I know some of you guys are just, you guys are all in a journey, right? You guys are all, like some of you guys actually still working your jobs, other people, you guys are building your thing. Other of you guys, you guys are on like, you know, like scale mode, which that's, it's honestly the benefit you get for being successful is to become more successful. And it's because you, what it is is you tap into predictability. Like, and by the way, I don't have, I mean, I do my best. There is a level of sales breath that I don't have on the challenge because I honestly don't care. It really is cool. Like what's cool about selling tickets to the challenge is usually it's like a $40,000 week just to show up on Zoom 5 days for 2 hours a day for 5 days. Like that's, that's cool. That's a good week. I don't care what business you have. That's a good week. Okay. But now, but because I, because I'm there though, like I'm really there and this is, this is the principle in sales guys where if you remove yourself from the outcome, it'll make you such a better Salesperson. And by salesperson, I mean servant. Because you're just like really trying to hear somebody like, can I help? Can you help? You know how many people DM me, hey Omar, do you do one-on-one? No, join my challenge. Like I don't need it. I don't want it. You want to do one-on-one? Join my mastermind. I'll do a one-on-one call if you join my mastermind. But I really hope that, like, I mean, and I'm telling you, some of you guys saw me on that first challenge in February and the tone changed. Like, I just, I went into a trance, but it's because I was so, I was so like connected to wanting a certain outcome. And obviously the goal is to have that outcome. But you get that outcome by not focusing on the outcome. You get that outcome by focusing on the person. You get that outcome by focusing on just helping that, serving that person, right? So anyway, I say all that to say there are things you can do to just remove the sales icky thing that people bring. I didn't bring it. People bring that stuff. This guy gonna sell me something? I'm telling you right now, and then I'm taking responsibility. Hey, if I do my part, do I have the opportunity to let you know about a really cool thing happening? Yeah, Omar, come on, man. Yeah, all day, bro. Let's go. Very cool. All right, you said it, I didn't say it. You know, like put it back on them. So I mean, I imagine this part alone, if you're missing this from a presentation, And then like, I mean obviously what, what all the other benefits of this is, you know, you're getting people to, to give you feedback. Can we make a deal? Most people are going to say yeah. Like they're just, everybody wants a good deal, right? So, and then here's the cool thing. If you're on a stage and I'm like, hey, I want to make a deal today. Can we make a deal? Everybody say yes. Yes. Okay, cool. You said yes. I didn't say yes. And then it's just like, if I do my part, Can I, can I, can I, can I tell you about something really cool happening? That's all it is. Anyway. Yeah. Okay. What else is there? That's all right. Okay. Here's the— so then make the deal. This is— I wanted to bring— well, this is a slide that's like way, so way too busy for sure. It's just, I start off with some things that I've accomplished just to show like the, you know, it's, and I try to go through it very quickly. Um, but, but, so those are some things that just I've been able to experience and I'm grateful for it. And here's the 3 unlocks that I've learned in over 15 years of doing video. I've learned this, number 1, that in, so like, just in over 15 years of doing video, here are 3 things. Like that, doing those things, it gets people to really like pay attention. 'Cause you're like, oh wait, wait, I don't wanna miss the lessons you learned in 15 years, bro. You know? Investing in yourself is the fastest way to see a return. Like talk about seeding like no one's business. This is called seeding. I'm literally telling you one of my biggest lessons in life was that I had to invest in myself. What's the whole point? What do I even do? Like, what's the opportunity? The opportunity is an opportunity for people to invest in themselves. So I'm like, I'm just getting people in the mind frame and the feeling to know like, oh yeah, this is good for me. And it's like, and then investing in yourself is the fastest way to see a return. I mean, I actually believe this and I hope you guys do too, but I could have been like, in 15 years of doing video, make sure your audio sounds good. It's like, what? That won't do anything, right? So that's intentional. And then like the other 3 things are kind of like things I, you know, I want to make people, oh yeah, I have a really good point to make in 2 seconds. So yeah, so then yeah, I go like the fastest path to building wealth is by building your personal brand. Is by building your personal brand. Brand. That is the fastest path to building wealth. I am gonna tell you something to write down verbatim, so you can write this down verbatim, and then if your mind does something, then do it. I want you to write this down: content creation is wealth creation. Content creation is wealth creation. Okay, this is something I've mentioned this in the past, but this is something that all of you have the responsibility to do. And your responsibility is to make the non-essentials seem essential. Let me say that again in a different way. It is your responsibility to make what it is you help people with or what it is you do make, it's your responsibility to make it the most important thing. That's your, it's your responsibility to do that. So, and, and, and by all, if you really believe in what you do, you'll be able to do this, right? Because when, when you think about it, like just think about the Diary of the CEO. Every guest on there is literally saying this is the most important thing you need to do. So I was like, without communi— Vin Yang, which he was on like this week, you know, he's like, we all have access to communication and it's the single missing link in all our life to make our life better communication. And then you have like, you have Andy Elliott saying sales is the only way you can control your life and your finances. And then you got Myron saying offers is, you know, the best thing ever. And they have Eileen saying speaking is the best thing ever. And if you know how to speak, you'll make your whatever. I mean, fitness, you got fitness people saying if your fitness ain't right, your life ain't right. You, you want to get your money right, your business right, get fit. Like, here I am saying content creation is wealth creation. I, I, I then go along to prove it. I prove that point. But what I'm saying is beyond that is just like, you, you, you need to make what you do seem essential, that without this you will be left behind. And this is where like marketing comes in, right? And like, and it's also like a belief, like, right? I mean, I'm looking at your guys' beautiful faces, right? I mean, I feel like everyone in real estate, like, what are we talking about? Like, I think, I think real estate is the easiest way to create generational wealth. I think real estate is the is the biggest investment you'll ever make. But it's the, I talk about automation, like you want to build wealth on automation, buy a home. When your head lays down at night, is your money working for you? Like you could paint these stories, you know, like when I think about, and really I think, I believe I have a gift to make you see what you do is essential. Like, you know, I look, I'm looking at Brandon. Brandon, like freelance, like freelance is the ticket to your freedom, dude. Ben, Ben does like painting homes and like renovating and stuff. Like, dude, you, your environment will determine your life. We transform environments so that you can thrive. And I believe, I actually believe that. I mean, it's kind of why we bought a nicer home in a nicer neighborhood to change our environment. Like, I mean, throw it in the chat, making Bible. Like, if you don't know the word of God, you don't know yourself. You will be in constant search of your identity if you don't know the word of God. A.W. Tozer literally did this, by the way, Christian. A.W. Tozer: what you think about when you think about God is the most important thing about you. Like, bro said it in a sentence. Where do you get your thinking about God? Like, this is essential. Do EJ— EJ does financial advisory and building investments. I mean, we all know, like, the money stuff is The money stuff is the easy stuff, but like, what's the Omar? Just tell me the, yeah, it is your job to make the non-essentials seem essential. I get everybody to think that creating content is like the number one thing they need to do, bro. Is creating a content the number one thing you need to do? No. Cody Sanchez is making people buy laundry mats. What are we talking about? It's hilarious because I see some, I see people on TikTok like posting like their failed laundromat. Like, you know, I was, I was on the internet, everybody told me to buy a laundromat, so I took out an SBA loan and bought a laundromat and it's been sucking money. This has been the worst decision of my life. I'm like, this is hilarious, bro. But this is why, I mean, that's why everybody's just, everybody's marketing. A message, right? By the way, I hope you know this, maybe you don't, like the what we think about milk was a marketing campaign. You know, like milk gives you strong bones. Like when I was growing up, like dude, we, I drank milk. It's why I'm still thick, bro. Like it's still sticking on, like it's still on me. Yeah, guys, I don't know if you know this. Did you know diamonds? What we think and believe about diamonds is all marketing? Did you know in the past they used gold and silver for rings? Diamonds, you guys, diamonds are like inherently, like they inherently don't have value. However, because a marketing campaign that made us believe that diamonds were a girl's best friend, a marketing campaign that made people believe that you must spend 3 months of your salary on your engagement ring, Like, these are— where— who's telling us this stuff? But somebody's making us believe it's true. Diamonds are forever? What the heck, bro? Like, it's crazy though. Like, it is wild. I was golfing with Myron, and, you know, we were hitting with our wedges. We had our wedges. I don't know if you're in golf. When you're closer to the putting green, you use a wedge. I was like, dude, how crazy is it that they say you have to replace your wedges every year? He's like, of course they say that, Omar. I was like, oh no, I mean, like, aren't you supposed to replace your wedges? He's like, no, you don't have to replace your wedges. I was like, I'm a freaking idiot, bro. I got, I got got. But like, somebody said that. Yeah, you got to, you know, if you want your game to be intact, you got to replace your wedges every year. It's like, what? Anyway, so if you guys I don't like using this phrase when I'm teaching, but I'm going to use it. I just want to preface that because everything is valuable. But if you take one thing away from this thing, just know, like, fight for that. Like, fight to find that. Like, fight to find the essentialness of what it is you provide. And if you don't have the belief like just go find, go talk to people. And I think if you go looking for it, you'll find it. Like if you go looking for it, I was looking for it. I was jealous when I saw people making so much money in Myron's mastermind. And I'm just like out here, like what the heck, dude? But they've just gotten really good at making their thing the most important thing. There was a lady I sat next to, she's a doctor. She literally reverses diabetes. I was like, wait, what? I have a friend who has diabetes who's, he's like 30 years old and he has his little, he has a little device and he's got a little thing on his thing and he's gotta shoot himself with, like, it sucks. I'm like, you reverse diabetes? Like, you sound like you should be like the next Elon Musk, you know? Anyway, she's a doctor. And she's come up with a pill and she packages her pill in a program. So she uses the challenge model to sell her program. I will help you reverse your diabetes in 90 days or your money back. It's $30,000 or $25,000, but it's like one time you pay this and then you become free, right? She like, actually, I'm like, in my mind, she's just telling me this. I'm like, this is the greatest thing in the world, you know? And I'm like, why is my friend still, he's like, she was like, because the, the medical system is designed to get you to maintain and stay sick. So like he's gonna pay for the rest of his life to just maintain his diabetes. And in my mind I'm like, why doesn't the whole world know about this? Well, the reality is, is she's very smart at the way she wanted to approach selling her pill that she created or whatever, her supplement. And yeah, she could have charged $200 a bottle or something, but like, nah, dude, I think she's just, she's enjoying it. She's loving life. Anyway, so yeah, making, that's really good, Sean. Yeah, making what you do seem essential. That is like a, like it's just crazy. It's crazy when you start following these personal brands, like Alex Ramosi, like he makes business seem essential. Like even to the point where I'm actually in my mind, I'm like, is everyone supposed to be an entrepreneur? Because that's the message that I see online. You gotta build a business and create your own freedom and do what you want when you want, you know? And it's like, no, I mean, I also believe in like being an intrapreneur. Like most of my life, my adult life, I've been an intrapreneur, like creating within a company. Where are those voices? You know? And so, yeah, I mean, I'm beating a dead horse at this point, but it's like I'm always gonna be searching that. I mean, it's a constant thing. And what it does is it makes people feel like what they're doing is the most important thing with you right now because you just made it the most important thing. If you get better at sales, everything in your life changes. Imagine, imagine your family doing what you want, whenever you want to do it, wake up whenever you wanna wake up, go to work when you wanna go to work because you get this skill. But you could do that with, you could literally guys, you could do this with anything. I think Tiffany, you help people with communication and I'm like, in my mind I'm like, when we open up our mouth, we're sowing seed. Like what you say is creating the garden of your life. So like, if you don't like your life right now, change what you say, change your words, change your life. Like we just, I just, we just, whoosh, we just made what comes out of our mouth the most important thing. And we, and it is really good when you guys can connect imagery to this, you know, like the image that I connect to this is how many days are in a, how many hours are in a day, 24. Well, that's not for me, 'cause I just got 2,200 views the other day, and that is equated to a month's worth of time spent on my channel in one day. So while you guys have 24-hour days, I got 35-day days, you know? So yeah, I said like the every, you know, the words you use are seeds sown, and it's building the garden to your life. So change your words, change your life. And by the way, maybe this is— you guys can write this down— change your blank, change your life. You know, and I didn't come up with this, by the way. I hope you guys— I mean, I think, you know, uh, what's his name? He's a YouTuber guy, big YouTuber guy. Um, um, uh, he's, uh, dang it, what is it? His name is, um, Evan Carmichael, he has this whole thing where he's like, what's your word? His word was like belief. But like, I mean, my thing is like, what's your non-essential, you know? Change— and I use that all the time in emails. Change your circle, change your life. Change your content, change your life. Change your beliefs, change your life. Like, change your environment, change your life. Okay. And then this is just, I just, what I wanted to break down is it is good for the type A's. There's a lot of type A's. I'm not, I don't think I'm type A, but just to like always let people know what to expect. This is just really something I've been coached on doing better. Hey Omar, always talk about where we are and where we're going. So even on the challenge, I'm like, yo, we're gonna start from 30,000 feet up And then every day we're gonna make our slow descent. So like, yeah, yeah, no, good. Yeah, Tiffany said, Erwin McManus says, "The future belongs to communicators." Yeah, sure it does. Like, you know, and I get what he's saying 100%, but also like, no, the future belongs to great families. The future belongs to humble, humility, whatever, fill in the blank. Yeah, the future belongs to, creators. I'm stealing that one. Okay. But what I'm saying here is yes, just doing your best. Now I want you guys to know when you're creating your presentation, your points should be breaking beliefs. So what are the things people are stuck on in what it is they do? So I was on the, I called my friend, Renee, who runs ads for small businesses, and he's putting together like a presentation. I'm like, dude, yeah, what are all the lies? You need an ad agency to run ads for your business. That's a lie. You need a big budget to make big money. That's a lie. You need fancy equipment to create commercials. That's a lie. So Renee, if you're the guy who's making somebody feel like I can do this, then they'll be happy to give you the money. But that's why like you just, this just takes, this takes an extreme amount of compassion and empathy to actually know the thing. I am actually, I mean, I'm thinking about changing the second line because like, you know, the company, they kind of helped me, they helped me come up with this, but like not knowing what makes your videos suck, I want it, I think I want to change it. He's like, I think it's jarring when you say that because like of who you are. Like when you say videos suck, people are like, whoa. And it gets their attention. But I was like, you know, mistake number 2 is not knowing what fixes your cringey videos. 'Cause I know that's like, that really speaks like, man, I cringe at my own content. But like, you know what's even worse than cringing at your own content? When other people cringe at your own content. Oh yeah, now I just freaked. I just got you by the lung, you know? Yeah. So this is just all— it's all beliefs, right? And so I told you I wasn't going to go into like the actual meat of stuff. I do want to say all I do for these 5 points, I share 5 stories. So here's my thing about it. I share the point and then I share a story. Now, here's what makes stories powerful. They're real and they have a point. The thing is, is like, it doesn't have to be your story. It can be. It doesn't have to be somebody you know's story. I actually think it's powerful if you can use somebody you don't know. Like, who here follows Kylie Jenner? "Right, like, we all, you guys know, yeah, she's probably the face of makeup. Did you know?" Whatever, like, so like it, any, you know, by getting good at sharing a story, this is what people are doing. They are putting themself in that place. It's something I found by, you know, by accident. Everybody's story that I share in my presentation just so happens to be over 40 years old. When they got started. Like it's just something I noticed. Like I mean, I didn't try to do that, but I imagine since my audience is a little bit on the older side, it's actually a good thing 'cause they see that and they're encouraged. But I just share a story. I got the Lewis Howes story. Like, yo, I just was posting consistent content and this guy Lewis Howes reaches out to me and DMs me. Look at screenshot of the DMs. Guys, like become the best at tracking all your stuff. I'm so glad I didn't, like, I had this, I screenshotted when Louis DM'd me, like these little things, what your clients say, when your clients text you, when they leave a comment. I actually, I created a new highlight in my Instagram, like a highlight moment from just client wins from you guys. And I was actually, I had a moment where I was like, I am the worst at sharing stories. Of what's happening. Lily wins happening like crazy here. And like, I take full responsibility and then I pass on that responsibility to the team because I'm like, we all need to have ears and eyes when we find it. Oh my goodness, we need to take this, we need to post it, we need to turn it into an email and share the story about it. Like, like the stories is what sells because people see themselves in the story. Okay, done ranting. So that's why, I mean, and, and I want you guys join the web class if you can this Wednesday or this Thursday, or I mean, I, yeah, we'll post the link to the last one in the group. Maybe Sophie, if you could just do that, maybe YouTube unlisted link. So yeah, this was Dean. He was in the program last year. Um, okay, now I go through my, like, I, so I go through all this stuff. I don't want to get into the nitty-gritty of like the actual teaching, just teach. Don't hold back, just, just, just give value. And then this is how I get people ready to hear the offer. If I helped you increase your influence online, multiply your presence so that you can work less, become a part-time entrepreneur, and automate high-quality leads 24/7 with What would that be worth? What would that be worth? I'm getting people to focus their mind on a certain amount that's way bigger than what I'm gonna tell 'em. So like, I mean, I vocalize it. Chanta says priceless. A lot. Dominic said 20K. Coach Nell, cool. We're gonna send over the invoice right now, Coach Nell. It's 20K. All right, cool. $30K. All right. Sending something. I'm gonna do something. I'm just, as I'm watching it, I'm, I need to say, I want you to put an actual amount of what you think this is worth rather than them saying priceless. Cuz I want them to see these numbers. I do it in the challenge. Hey, with a year of my help, how many people do you think you can help? I can help you reach together with a year of my help. People go crazy. Their imagination runs wild and that's amazing. But then I take a very small math equation and I'm like, look, look how easy it's gonna be to make $1 million next year. Simple. Not, maybe not easy. Simple. If you get, if we can get 1,000 people to give you $1,000, if we can get, you know, 500 people to give you $2,000, whatever. I mean, the numbers start to get easy. Eiler, a diff— so whatever, Justin Page. Okay. So yeah. Okay, I'm trying to see. And then I go, and then I just say like, this is the Content to Cash Challenge. It's a 5-day coaching experience. This is really like 5 days of coaching. And I'm reiterating all this stuff. Now this is an important slide because I'm saying, here's what you're going to get in each day. All these things, guys, are literally answers to the limiting beliefs or problems that we mentioned. So the mistakes, the answer to those mistakes are what you're gonna get in the challenge. So when I talked about, you know, not knowing your audience, I'm like, you're gonna unlock your messaging, activate your audience, you know, waiting for the perfect time to start, you're gonna get your personalized content system, you're gonna get personal branding growth secrets. Like it's just the answer. And then I want you guys to know, As the owner of your information, you get to determine the value. Omar, where do you get that number? 4,197. You know where I get that value? I get that value because 197's at the end of it. I don't know. I honestly like, I mean, I could tell you like, I, I think the challenge is worth whatever I would want to charge for it, but it, it doesn't matter. So, but I like doing this thing that I saw Myron when he sold me. And that's just when you— Live. This is a live call. These are live trainings. This is— And it's just when you take down that first number, you know, people are like, oh my gosh, I'm getting a deal. And it's like, sure you are. I mean, I actually think it's like insanely, it's like the challenge is like an unreal value exchange. Which is always the goal. The goal is always to provide unreal value in exchange for people's attention. But, um, that, that's just a tactic to just let people see that. And then I go into like what you get, you know, get a bonus hour of Q&A every day of the challenge. Um, I added a new slide where it says like you get access to an exclusive community. And then I do this like for on the challenge. If you, you must give people a reason to sign up. At the moment of the offer. Give them a reason. Like what? Give them a, whatever, a book, something that's just going to like add value. Again, Omar, who determined the value of a $500 course? I did. I, I determined that value. So I'm just like, this is for everyone who's joining on this webinar. Once we end this webinar, you will no longer get this. So This is, you know, it's called a MIFI, or Most Incredible Free Gift Ever. So I say it's my signature course. And like on this course, you're gonna learn all this stuff, what to buy, how to start a podcast. Like, my gosh, Omar's just gonna give this to me? And then I'm like, yo, yeah, look what people say about just the course. The course that you're getting, this is what people are gonna see. And then I have a slide that shares and invites people to just go. At this point, guys, Sophie is throwing the link in the chat like a mad lad. It's just paste, paste, paste, paste, copy, paste, paste, space because the chat goes and moves. And I did a web class last week and it was not my web class. I did it for somebody else and it was— It was the worst zero conversion, 0 to 250 people, zero conversion. Why? Lack intention. And like the homie could have paid me a lot of money to really help him but I was just trying to do something nice. Serve his community, so it was fine. But I, I feel like I took a brand bullet to help him do this web class and he didn't, and he doesn't know ignorance. This is why I was like, I literally broke it down to Sophie and Art. This web class that he's doing could be a million dollar play, just the web class. 'Cause he has a, he has an agency offer, which is like $3 to $5K a month from churches. I was like, bro, if you get like $5K, what is that? What's $80,000 divided by $5,000? I mean, you can literally add a million dollars this year from this web class, but like you have no idea how to do any, what I just did right now and what I broke down for you guys, he had no idea. So they threw the link to a form and that mug was gone. Like people commented and then they didn't have the, the wherewithal to keep posting the link. I'm like, guys, make it easy for people. Make it easy. What if somebody just jumped on right now and we're just like mid-conversation? That's like something you're always thinking about. Like what if somebody just hopped on? And then something I do literally is like open the page. Hey, I'm gonna show you what you're gonna, so you're gonna click the link and then here's the page. As you see, it's $197. There's an opportunity to bump that to another $100 if you want to be a VIP+ member. And it's like, here's what you get for VIP+. And then, dude, people are buying VIP+ like crazy. I think we're almost sold out, if not, we already sold out. But like, I'm just showing them what they're going to see and then what will happen. And then this is something that, alone, this next thing alone will increase your conversion. Write this phrase down. Sit in the sale. Sit in it. You just dropped something on people that they did not expect and their mind, their brain, their spirit, their voice, their inner voice, it is doing mental hoops. Like, they, they are going crazy right now. They're like, okay, I got it, okay, I got lunch in like 20 minutes. They got all this stuff going on in their mind, so just sit in it. You know what I do? If you guys want to raise your hand, let me know if you have any questions. Oh man, so Omar, uh, I'm just— I'm worried, will this help me with YouTube? Look at that. I wouldn't have like, will this help me with YouTube? In my mind I'm like, of course it's going to help you with YouTube. But obviously she's asking because I'm sitting in the sale and she's like, will this help me with YouTube? Hey, I'm going to tell you why this is going to help you with YouTube. So it will, you know? Okay, so Omar, so how long do we have access to recordings? Great, thank you guys. And here's something I don't do. I don't give away too much details, right? I don't give the time of day the calls are on a slide. I don't, because I don't want to lose the feeling. I just created the feeling. I'm not trying to lose the feeling. You know what makes, you know what loses the feeling is just giving people all this information in detail. So like, don't strip away the seed that you just sown, right? Like that will happen with details. Now answer the question. Like, we get it all the time. So what, when are the, so the calls are literally the same time this call started, 10:00 AM Pacific Standard Time. And then the recordings are available. And, and, and talk slower. Like when you get into the sales place, just talk slow. All right guys, pay attention. I'm gonna talk as I'm gonna talk very slowly. So if you, but if you have any questions, I'm, I'm here to answer 'em. But yeah, I go, if anybody has a question, pertaining the challenge, feel free to raise your hand and you'll just be surprised what people are going through. Can I use PayPal? Oh yeah, you can. All right, cool. I'm in. You know, now I don't want to like make you do something that might not work all the time, but something I do that just helps other people buy is I'd say if you're, if you're doing it, put I'm in in the chat. And then I'm in, I'm VIP, I'm VIP plus. So because nothing attracts a crowd like a crowd, people just want to see other people go first a lot of the times. That's like a picture Myron paints a lot of time is like at a wedding, you know, when you're at the reception, you never want to be the first one to get your food, but you also never want to be the last one to get your food. You just always want to be in the middle. So yeah, and so like the whole, yeah, like, If you're in, put I'm in in the chat, just get people pumped up. And yeah, people are literally on their phones, maybe they're driving and they're checking out. So like this is why I sit in the sale. So the web class that is literally a 60-minute web class and I kind of probably go over 10 or 15 minutes, by the time the offer comes, dude, I don't end the call till 12. There will even be a point like last week, I will put on music turn off my camera, turn off my mic, share the screen to the thing, and people will just be on the Zoom call. You can end the recording and then still do that. We're gonna do that this week, but yeah, good stuff. All right, that was a lot, and I'm sure you guys got a lot. Don't mind, let's get into like some questions. I can go 15 minutes to answer some questions. I'll answer Liz's question about where can we make a countdown? I think you can make a count— you could, you can get a countdown from YouTube, but if you wanna like edit and make it, you, you would download the YouTube countdown and then put your own stuff around it, right? Like put your own pictures and things like that. Fiverr.com, Fiverr, F-I-V-E-R-R. .com. Just could have a— just hire somebody to, to put together. Tina said, can you go back and rewatch the video? Of course not. No, I'm just kidding. Of course. Yeah, we're gonna— I'll upload the recording to this and, um, and we'll cut out the wins too inside the curriculum. So, and we'll just do two— we'll do two posts today, one with the wins, because I love, I love— I want you guys, if you guys watch replays and be encouraged and all that stuff, But every call, you guys, we upload every call. Um, but yes, we will, we will do this is this and this will go under like masterclass folder also of 2025. Um, what are you guys got any questions? Yep. Chris Christian.
Yo, thank you so much. Yeah, this comes at a great time because I'm doing this next week and I'm a little nervous and excited at the same time. Actually, not—
I'd be worried. I'd be worried if you weren't nervous.
Yeah, I'm super nervous actually, is what I wanted to say. I got a million questions that I've been asking someone that comp— in the, in the community. Um, how long, how long— I, I'm, I'm gonna show up this week on the Thursday because I really want to see how long are you going from when you start to when you start teaching. But how long is your teaching section?
My, um I'm probably teaching for 40 minutes.
Okay.
I mean, I'm saying like minus all the BS, like all the like intro and offer. Yeah. I do however want to get to the offer. The goal is to get to the offer part before the hour ends. And then we sit in the sale.
Is he coming or not? When it comes to, so here's something I'm kind of like debating, like my, My class is going to be at 6:30 PM on a Wednesday. I know you do yours in the morning because mainly most entrepreneurs are, right, do their own thing. But any feedback on the time and day that I picked for that class?
Yeah, I mean, I do think evenings are really good. I've been told that, like, I've been told that me doing my challenge at 10, me doing my webinars at 10, I'm like, you know, you know, probably losing on some people and all that stuff. I mean, whatever. I do think there is wisdom in knowing your demographic and saying like, yeah, maybe, maybe it would. I don't know. I don't even know if me doing it during lunch is a good time. Maybe I should do it during lunch. But then if I do it during lunch during this time, what about Nigeria? What about like East Coast? And it's 3 PM. So it's like, what the heck are we even talking about? So I don't want, I don't want, the point is I don't want to like overthink it. I think, I think 6:30 is good in the sense that like maybe people are settled by then, but there's always a, we can go back and forth all day on the con. Yeah. Like they're, they forgot, they forgot about it. They're like, they actually got so busy with the kids and they're at home and so like they're not on, you know, like, um, there's a lot to consider, you know, there sometimes there's a lot of it also comes with the communication leading up. You wanna make sure that you're communicating like crazy. Leading up. And something I even learned from Neil was just the power of talking about showing up and like what's going to happen on this call. I do a giveaway. So I was like, if you don't want to miss the giveaway. So there's things I do that like I'm trying everything I can to exhaust the opportunity to make sure you show up. Now, show up rates is a thing and you always just want to like, it's always a testing thing. You know, I, I, I put $5,000 in ads 3 weeks ago. We got 800 and something people to sign up for the web class and there was like 250 people on and I was like, meh, that's kind of whack. I mean, it's cool though because we made $11,000, which is cool from $5K ad spend from ticket sales. But like, I'm like, I, I want that number to be higher and I want, I'm always trying to wonder why, how we can increase the thing, but just, just keep asking the question. You know, there's no way to know unless you actually test it. Yeah.
When you talked about, when you put in there the actual, the actual amount and it was like $4,197, I'm thinking what could that be for me, uh, as I'm, as I'm putting a slide like that, um, because the community is $17. So I'm trying to figure it out, like, do I need to put something like that? Do I just say how much money I have spent studying the Bible.
Yeah, I, I, it's a mixture of all of it. You need to, and you could sprinkle all this stuff throughout. You talking about how much you've spent learning the Bible at the front of your presentation is one element, then you can repeat it later. But then there's also like what, what the cost is to go to a, get the Christian education and like, and then you're, you have to be physically in, in person and What are all those things that your community will solve? You know, like, you don't have that much time. Like, what, you know, all this is, is gonna help you with that 15 to 30 minutes a day. You'll become somebody completely unrecognizable 'cause you'll know the Bible. So yeah, it's all those things. It's what is every person's excuse on why they don't, whatever, you know, like, yeah. And then you, yeah. As far as the price goes, because it's on like the lower ticket side, it's not like you have to be like gnarly with it. I think it's more like, it's more, you still need, you still should have an offer stack. Like that's what I did, right? Like the offer stack is like, here's what you get for 5 days. You're also gonna get this and you're also gonna get this. All this for $17 a month, you know. How— how—
and this is my last question, I know there might be other people with questions, um, how developed does that community need to start? Do I have to have courses already in it?
Um, yeah, it's whatever you want. Gotcha. And it— and it's whatever you want, and it's whatever you think would be the best for people. Yeah. Right? So like, I'm gonna lead with this 'cause I apologize everybody 'cause I will upload a replay to calls and I've been doing it for 2.5, 3 years. And so the curriculum has so much content. Dude, I want less content in there. Like straight up by giving you the email scripts, everybody, I gave you guys email scripts that I literally tested last week by the way. I gave you guys email scripts. That I tested last week and it made $4,000 so far just sending out an email to a brand new offer. So, but I say all that to say like that, that comes by helping people. You realize that like there becomes extra information, extra processes. So the goal is like, what all is it that people need to know? And honestly, when it comes, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not an expert when it comes to paid communities, but what I do know is people tend to leave. Sophie, help everybody with that. They don't know where that is, which, which means we just need to be a better, we need to be better at like just texting everybody and stuff like that. But like, yeah, people churn. Churn is a real thing with paid communities, but you don't want to focus on the churn. You just want to focus on getting people the result. Um, but people, people have said that when you're, when you're, when there's too much going on, it reminds them that they don't use it.
Yeah, and that, that's my thing.
I don't—
I hate when things are just— there's too much. I even thought about just having like a course on how to read the Bible and that I can put on later, and just like the weekly call, the weekly or biweekly call, just being the community. But like, I have my free community, hardly anybody has watched those courses. And I'm sure even in your community, people don't watch those things. No, I'm 100%.
I mean, and that's why like, and this is why we get so obsessed about what's inside when it doesn't even freaking matter. I mean, I think the main thing is like, okay, here's my question. Yeah, gotcha. Yeah, sure. My thing, dude, literally join 3 to 5 paid communities real quick. A lot of them are free trials too. Yeah. And just see, just see what it like based on skill sets you want to grow in. Maybe you do a content one, maybe you do a marketing one, Maybe you do a paid community one, like how to grow your paid community, like just get the insight. And like that was one of the biggest unlocks I got from joining a mastermind was making my mastermind even better because I joined a mastermind. So it'll help you speculate less because you'll see like, okay, I can do that or I don't need to do that. Or like, oh dang, I didn't even think to do that.
Okay, thank you.
Yeet! Chris, what's up? What's up? So it's one thing to teach us how to, like, the, the how-to-do part, and yet thank you for today because it's what I'm here for, man. Like, the, the transformation comes from if I can learn how you think about things, then I could, you know, become who I need to be and therefore do what I need to do. So I just want to say thank you for today, man. Extremely helpful. And I took like 4 pages of notes. So thanks. Wow. Let's go. Yeah, man. I realize like that's leadership. It's getting people to think first. Think like you. I'm going to like— I don't want— you know, the goal is to like teach people how to think. And then influence is when people think as you. And I was, I mean, I had a meeting with Sophie because she's been for 90 days. She put in her 2 weeks, guys. No, I'm just kidding. That was a joke. Haha. No, we had an awesome meeting yesterday and that was my thing. I was like, I want to do better at helping you guys think as me because if you guys can think as me, I'll be less frustrated because I get in my own head and I assume and all this stuff, right? So like, what can I do to help you guys? And really the, the biggest thing is to teach, is to tell and show them why I'm doing something, not, not what I'm doing. So I actually threaded it yesterday 'cause I, I told it to her. I was like, oh, that's actually why. I said, if, if I just teach you what I'm doing, it'll end right there. But if I teach you why I'm doing it, so she was like, hey, can you tell me what do you think about this email yesterday? And rather than me changing the email and then giving back her laptop. I was like, come sit next to me and then I will. And then I'll tell you why I think using this word over this word is better, you know? So anyway, I appreciate you for noticing that. I'm going to take this bracelet, I'm going to flip it around so it's blank.
I'm going to put W.W.O.D.
What would Omar do on it? What would Omar do?
Thank you.
Dude, you can sit, bro. You're good. We got a couple, just a couple, uh, 2 questions and then we'll move on. Hey, hey, Sherman.
Oh, hi, hi, Omar. Um, yes, excellent, um, presentation. Um, just, just, um, 2 questions. How do you come up with the title of your web class? And the second one is, can you Do a web class if you have a small, you just started, you have a small audience with an, can you do a web class with an offer if you have a small audience?
Yeah. Okay. Two things. Number one, how do you name a web class? Name it with pain. So just like, just make sure the web class is not a, it's not pleasure or payoff based, it's pain based. This is why mine's like the 5 mistakes, the 5 costly mistakes. You know, my friend who teaches preaching, he's like, 5 things your Sunday sermons are missing. It's like, dude, tell me now what I'm missing, you know? So that's the angle you wanna go is use it as pain avoidance. And then can you do this with small? 100%. I, I would say if like you guys are leveraging organic traffic to do a web class, you might be want to do 'em less often. But I do want to, I do want to tell you, you do the same one though. So do the same one, the first one, maybe you let 2 weeks or a month go by, you run it back, same one. I like literally, I think, I think we're at $120K off one presentation and it's just refining it. And I know I have a feeling because the, the conversions are predictable. It's like 20, 25% people are buying tickets to the challenge. I know for a fact I can run it automated at this point, but I like showing up, so I choose to show up. But the goal is to perfect your presentation.
Okay. Thanks.
Which is why it's really good to do that. And then like, it doesn't matter, like doesn't matter the offer. There's these filmmaker dudes that I was on their podcast. It's called the 505 Podcast. And they, they, they, they, he was texting me 'cause he wanted some help on stuff. And he was like, yeah, so we did our web class. I felt like we went long. They like, they charged, I think they charged $27 for it. So they got 35 people to sign up, 29 people showed up, and then 8 people bought their $2,000 offer. Like what? It doesn't have to be massive. Like, you know, like, That's a good day. I don't care who you are, you know. Yeah, just start.
Just start. Okay, thank you, Imán.
Yep, yep. Sophie. All right, so my question is for the timer, how long do we put the timer for? Is it for 5 minutes before, 10 minutes before, how long? Do we, uh, yeah, it could be 10 or 5. I, I found that it's a lot of the times it's like I'm scrambling. So like if you do it 10 minutes, you're gonna scramble at, you know, 15 minutes out as opposed to just 10 minutes out. So I, I mean, fine is to— 5 is totally fine. Okay. So 5 or 10 minutes, just depending on what— and people usually trickle in at the hour, so that's kind of like I always say when you're doing livestreams, don't do this, but like you can start a little slow. That's why I actually, I try to let the countdown end a minute into the hour. I didn't mention that. So if you're starting a 5-minute counter, start it at 56. And then, because I mean, they just start rolling in within that minute. And you want to add music and then maybe like I was thinking for mine is to put like my stories, cause I always do like closing days of things people got theirs, like stuff like that? Is that what you're saying? Yeah, the, the goal is to just leverage the time while people are sitting there that they like, yeah, they're, they're getting excited, but then they're seeing that you like do, it's just proof, opportunity to show proof.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah. Thank you. Yeah. This is honestly why I, I, you know, just for whatever it's worth, in a world where everybody's shooting vertically, I, I tell Art like, dude, make sure you turn the camera horizontally because we can have brand building content and then we could put it in countdowns, we could put it in testimonial videos or whatever. So yeah, just always be, be more intentional about when it's a good time to get a video of you captured with a client. Even if it's just like a selfie video, if it's like a horizontal selfie video and it's like they're holding their little key because they just closed or whatever, like that's good stuff. Okay, perfect. Thank you. Yep. Yep. All right, y'all, y'all have a blessed rest of your week. Um, let me know if you need anything in school. And, um, yeah, that was heat. I wish I had that training, y'all. I wish. Go use it, please. All right, peace.
