0:00 What is up, YouTube? Justin Page here. Last video we were working on the Q50. We took that to go get retuned, went to RS Entropy over in Tampa. Really, I was looking for some fine-tuning with the car, just a little bit of tweaking. Transmission, it took a little bit of delay. We're trying to fine-tune that. He also gave me 4 maps so now I could put E85 in there too, so we can hit on that corn, you know what I'm saying now. Um, but today's video is not going to be about that. Today we are back to the G82 here because we got us a new part. Shout out to the boys over at Mastery of Art Design, aka MAD, because they are mad with what they do. To complete the exhaust situation, went ahead and got some catless downpipes. Look at that. Yes, I went with the Fat Boy. I think it's a 3.5, um, diameter width. I think, not 100% sure, I have to look that up again. Um, but yeah, we went with this one, catless. Little mesh here. Uh, this is going to be going in today. Hopefully we're gonna sit here— and I say we as in just me— we're gonna get this up, take things apart again, troubleshoot, figure out how to get those in here. It shouldn't be too bad, but I need to go hit up my boy Jeff because he has the Quick Jacks, and, um, we're gonna go get some Quick Jacks. Got to the car on the Quick Jacks. A lot of shrouding we had to take off. It was quite an ordeal here. So I had to get this big fat plate off, which was a whole ordeal. Lots of bolts down here. It's a complete mess. Taking all this crap apart, man, is a lot. Had to pull off the exhaust because of how it sets. If I get in there to show you guys how it sets to connect there, I got to pull that out. Had to go at the top, disconnect everything so I can be able to pull this down. So this is where we're at. The next day. As always, I'm always working on the car late and it gets super dark. And last night it got pretty cold, and I'm not gonna lie, I was getting really irritated with putting this in because it was driving me insane trying to get the fitment in to be precise. So I had to call it a night before, you know, you know, things get too rough, you gotta give yourself some mental clarity. Just go to bed, try again. There's no time crunch right now getting this car done, so I think taking a nap was my best bet. I'm gonna show you guys exactly what it is that was giving me problems. It's very difficult with the angle I'm at with trying to get to this stuff, so it has just been kicking my butt, I'm not gonna lie. So here, these clamps, they were giving me a pain in the butt because you have to line it up perfectly for the clamps to be able to get on there. And with these cars, there's this heat shield that's right here and it gets in the way, so you can't really get into the angle because you have to be able to get into there, and I'm cutting my wrist trying to get to this to hold this. So it's very aggravating. And then the other one is way the hell up there. I don't know if you guys can really see that up there. Let me see if I can try to focus in where this is at. It's way up in that corner up there to try to get to the other clamp for connect to the turbo. And bruh, I'm not gonna lie, man, this has been an ordeal. I'm not gonna lie. But finally we got it all connected. Pieces, the parts are connected here. Finally got this to line up, got this line up. I had to undo the hangers back there so that way this can fall down a little bit so I got better leverage here. And I'm not gonna lie, man, when I first put this exhaust on, which this used to be stainless steel but it's got that burnt to it now, um, this bolt here is so hard to get to. This bolt right here is so hard to get to, the angle of it. If be able to tighten that. So that was one issue I had. But this has been an adventure, and I do not want to take this car apart again to do this. So we're making sure we do everything right, getting O2 sensors situated. Um, I might get the extenders, I don't know yet. We'll see what happens with the check engine light. Eventually I will get the cartoon, so I know that's the whole thing there. So it can be done. If I could do this, you guys could do this. Let's put everything back together. We finally got the car all put back together, everything is back. All of those bolts at the bottom, all 40+ of them, all connected to undercarriage, which is probably the worst part of taking apart this car, is all together. Now before we do the sound check, I got a package from Open Throttle. Let's take a look real quick. So Open Throttle had a pretty sweet deal going on, so I couldn't pass this up. It's the small little things that you add to the car, and for this car we are adding in door lights. We're going to change out the old door lights, we're going to put in these. This should illuminate the M4. On the bottom of the ground, which little, little things. That's the details. Oh man. This also came with a little sweet keychain too. That's clean. That is clean. Open throttle on the back. Changing these out should be fairly simple. I believe you just get like a little pry tool, pop this open. You should be able to just change light bulbs out. Pry tool. Oh, there we go. Okay. So yeah, it definitely comes out this way in case you guys are curious. And then we're going to unclamp that, but I need two hands for that. Just use the pry tool and just pop that right out. There's nothing to clamp onto, literally just comes right out. And then we got our new ones here. This looks like this will be the left. Oh, it also says left. There's an L for left and probably an R for right. All right, just pop the left side in. It's probably going to be hard to tell, but Oh, that looks so sick. We're definitely going to get a better picture at night. Get ready for this. Yes sir, that is clean, bro. Look at that, look at that. Excellenté. The next morning.
