I Wrapped My BMW M4 MYSELF 🤯 (INSANE RESULT)

Justin Page wrapped his 2024 BMW M4 in khaki-green vinyl over three months, starting with clay-bar prep and tackling the hardest parts like door handles and rear bumper. He's an ER travel nurse who's wrapped a Tesla and Q50 before, and this one completely covers the car's original blue paint with a glossy finish.

What is up, YouTube? Justin Page here. We are back with a banger this one because, as you guys can tell by the thumbnail and title, we are about to wrap my BMW in this sexy color. Let's get into it. So we got the vinyl wrap through Anozotec. Anozotec has not sold their products to any individual that's not working at a shop. A few months ago, they decided to start selling to the public and we were able to get ourselves khaki green. A lot of people have the same color cars. I, I want to be a little different with it. As far as green goes, I'm not really a green, but that khaki, it just spoke to me. That with the yellow DRLs, I have the brown leather interior, which I think complements it extremely well. Here again, the blue— I— one main reason why I went with the Nosatec is that I love the finish of their product. Um, I've always been a fan of their chalk as well as their Nardo. I've never personally worked with it. I've only worked with KPMF film. And actually, yeah, that's the only brand I worked with, which I wrapped my Tesla as well as the Q50 in the chalk color. But, um, they say this is a lot more difficult to work with. So depending on your experience level, I'm still, I would say, a novice because I'm not no guru. I could wrap a car, but by no means am I an expert at this at all. Oh, this is gonna look so sick. That looks so good. Huge fan of this color. I don't know if you guys can really tell here in the light, but that color is going to look so sick on here. I'm extremely excited. Like I said, I like the blue, but yeah, the blue's grown on me, but I like to have a different color, and I say that when I have the same color cars here. I don't know what color I'm going to do the calipers though. I don't know if I want to do them yellow, if I want to do them black, or I want to have them stand out. Not 100% sure. Biggest thing I've learned about wrapping cars is the prep. Prep is literally the key to making sure this comes out the way it needs to be. So I spend extra time prepping all the edges, making sure the car is nice and clean I typically will do like a soap and water, just regular dish soap, just to get off all the grease and all the grime, especially been driving the car around. I like to clay bar the car, that way I can get all the impurities off, uh, tree sap, uh, bugs, stuff like that in the crevices there. But the biggest thing too, on top of all the cleaning, is making sure your edges are nice and dry. So a lot of times I'll wait for 24 hours, let everything dry, cure, so that way when I do start the process, everything will be nice, clean, and everything will be intact. Packed. Prep is a lot of work, but it is well worth it for the final product. A little change of pace, and I'm in the back now taking off the tail lights because I want the vinyl to come underneath the tail lights and get that really tucked in and press on. Because this is so thin here, as far as there's not much give or much room in there to really tuck that in. I don't want any issues in the future, especially longevities over washes and everything, and sometimes it starts to peel off. I really want to get tucked under there, so I'm going to remove the tail lights here and remove the tail light here. Now, this isn't a tutorial video on how to do any of this. I'm just showing little things that I'm doing. So removing these little clips here out of each one, pulling this down, and it should just pop out. Oh, oh, all right, little clips in there. Oh, there's some clips. Clips there. All right, noted. So I got that out so I can get to the bolts to get that out, and we'll be moving along next. Okay, little red tab here, push pull, there we go. Day 2. 48 sleepless hours later. So now we're getting to the tricky part here, and that's going to be doing this rear bumper. It is a lot easier if you have someone else to do this with you, but we're gonna do what we can do. I believe I have enough material here. Measure about like a— I did like 120 just to make sure I haven't— have enough to wrap around, which I hope just made it with material. Did all the way around, so I'm going to Start with the middle, and I'm going to work my way to each side. In the past, I, I did one side and I wrapped around, and then the bumper was going upwards or it was aiming down. It was a complete nightmare. So I definitely recommend, if you're ever doing this, to start in the middle and work your way out. Oh man, this is going to be— this could be a nice little— this is going to be fun to do. Try to line it on the body lines first and then work my way out, but I don't know, we'll see how this goes. I'll probably save the end to last, probably going to work inner and work my way out. Seems like the most reasonable thing to do. This has been kicking my butt, man, but we're getting somewhere with it. Crazy thing is, this is only— there's only one half. Just really tucking in the areas. 3 days later. It's now the next day. Mm, getting there. This side wasn't as bad as the other side, as I learned what not to do. So I'm in the middle of heating this, and you guys can see there's just smoke coming out of it. So, um, yeah, MIG gun, trash. Bought another one, $27, got at Walmart. Not bad. Actually, it's the same exact one as I had before. I don't know if that's a good thing that I got the same product, but I mean, why not? So let's try this again. Oh, you're probably wondering why I'm in scrubs. Well, I do, uh, on the side of working in the ER, I do, uh, travel IVs and PICC lines, midlines, uh, for people who need antibiotics for extended period of time. So I go to different ICUs, different hospitals, homes, uh, stuff like that. Let's get back to it. So the plan here is to get one solid big piece here, and I'm going to cut out for the door. I'm going to cut out for the very bottom panel there, and then I'll have the rest for the whole side panel. That is the goal. Again, this is a lot harder to do by yourself. All right, so I got my magnets that are helping me cuz these are my extra arms, and not much of the car is mag— is, uh, metal other than the side panels here. This makes it a little trickier. Measure twice, cut once. Measure 8 times, cut once. Sure, there's much easier ways to do this. Biggest thing is with this falling on the ground nonstop, so make sure you don't get debris on the car. Okay, so this will be my door inside panel. Instead of putting my glove on because I'm touching inside the vinyl, I don't want it to get sticky. Just literally using it like a rag almost because my fingers are so grippy. It's nice and smooth. One thing about when you're doing the edges, you want to really heat up the edges. That way it kind of just folds around and just kind of grips it. It's the biggest thing. Days later. All right, so it has been a couple of days since my last video, and I was doing it— gonna do the doors, but I did the doors in silence because there were a lot of issues with getting the door handle back inside. It was a nightmare. It took me about— it took about 3 hours just to do that door handle, and that's besides the wrap. I was just— I was pissed. I was not in a happy mood. It was really raw emotion that I would— hella F-bombs were dropped the entire time. So I, I just couldn't even fathom recording that while I'm actually trying to get this car, because I literally only had one day to do this car. And the moment of truth— introducing the Khaki Green M4 Comp. No more Portimão Blue. We are rocking that Anozetec High Super Gloss. Oh my goodness, this color is milky, it is sexy, it's different, and it is just spueling me. Got the new tag on there, M with the carbon. You know, I was really impartial about some of the blue since again the car was originally blue. But the blue tips on there, I like it. It's a good little accent to it instead of everything just being black and khaki. There's a little bit of blue there because I was thinking about the blue calipers and I was like, man, I should get like yellow calipers or black calipers. But I don't know, the blue with the little blue tip there, it's just, just the subtle things. And to go along with the blue, which again the blue calipers, you got the lasers which are blue as well. I think that's a, I think that's a nice accent. To it. Just a little subtle detail. But bruh, yo boy did his thing. Yo boy did his thing. Got the new badge on there. I love that badge so much more than the OEM badge. Um, this bumper, bruh, this bumper was— that was an ordeal as well too. But gosh, just step back and look at your work. Like, I did this. I did this with these hands and patience and the Lord above. Because Lord, I apologize, I, I cursed a lot. But man, this is just— this is nice. Edge to edge here, the gloss. I love the gloss. Some people do the, you know, the matte finish, the satin finish, but I'm a gloss boy. I'm a gloss guy. Oh, and let's take it to the next level here, because what else did we do? We did the interior, my boy. Bruh, above and beyond. There's some little areas in here that aren't perfect, but again, it's better than most people when they would just typically wrap the exterior and keep the interior. And again, it's blue. It's not like this car was black or white, which you could play with that, but a blatant blue car You can never tell this car was blue, and I love it with the tan, the brown tan, whatever you want to call it. Call it brown. The brown with the khaki, oh, chef's kiss. The door, your boy did the doors. Oh my goodness, bruh. Pop the trunk. We had little issues here. I should have did an inlay here. This keeps folding up, but, um, I'll mess with that a little bit more. The trunk, the inside lining too. You could never tell this car was blue. There is no way of hiding, of hiding the shame of the blue. Yeah, this is just clean, dog. I really— hats off to myself for this. And only way you can see the blue is if you pop up the hood. Hey, look at— that's what the car was. That is insane that that's what the color was. Before. Like, nothing against the blue cars, I'm just not a blue car guy. But then why would you spend all this money and get a blue car? Well, because the car was cheap. 2024 M4 Comp for $70,000 with 14,000 miles on it with no problems, like, that's an insult not to buy. We could change colors. So it wasn't exactly the spec I would want, but I mean, you can make it what you want it to be. We've come quite a distance, but man, I am just proud of myself because it has been a long 3 months of not being able to drive this car. And man, and shout out to my wife because my wife heard me curse and just think about this car all the time and work between jobs of getting in and try to do whatever I can wrap-wise and come back out here. Thank you, Lord. If you guys, uh, join me throughout this entire journey, I really appreciate you guys for this because, uh, this has been a very difficult journey wrapping this car. The Model Y was by far the easiest because it literally was just plastic clips holding this car, you know, together. Um, that's good or bad, but it is what it is. And plus the panels were a lot flatter, so this was a lot easier. This was difficult. Again, this was my first car I ever wrapped, so I learned a lot with this car with, you know, how to wrap, what not to do. I have still some imperfections that are still lingering to this day. I mean, this It's just, it is what it is. One day I'll rewrap this, but I appreciate you guys for sticking through with this video. If you have any questions, any comments, any tips on everything that I did and did wrong, definitely leave them down below. I appreciate you guys for this journey. This is your boy Justin Page. Shout out to Nosatec for this beautiful M4, and, um, I'mma catch you on the next one. Peace.
