In this vlog, Justin and his family/friends document a morning in Waikiki, starting with a quick workout before heading out for a Hawaiian McDonald's food tour. They order and taste local menu items such as Spam, Portuguese sausage, rice, and egg, commenting on flavors, textures, and the novelty of low‑sodium Spam and local bacon. The group then visits Leonard’s, a popular bakery, to sample a dozen malasadas in various flavors (ube, hopia, guava, cream, coconut) while playfully describing the sugary treats and their messy aftermath. Throughout the footage, the participants share light‑hearted banter, personal preferences, and family affection. The vlog concludes with a shift in focus: Justin reveals he is scouting the St. Catalina Chapel at Makapuu Beach as a potential intimate destination wedding venue for July 20 2024, noting the geographic midpoint between his Florida home and his partner’s family in Guam. The overall tone is informal, conversational, and enthusiastic, blending food review with personal travel narrative and wedding planning.

Top of the morning to you guys, fresh out of bed. It is 6:35 right now here in Waikiki, 12:35 back at home over in Florida. And, uh, I will say that I slept. We got up early. I'm going to go hit the gym, get a nice little quick workout in, because even on vacation, still got to work out, keep the body in shape. Cassandra's going to go do Cassandra things, Starbucks, and I want to shower. So we already got a list, get the parents ready, and we're going to head out.
Peace. Spam. There it is right there. Spam, rice, and egg. What's the difference?
So this is local deluxe. You get Spam and Portuguese sausage. This one you only get Portuguese sausage.
Okay.
What do you want, Mom?
Rice.
It's Portuguese.
I don't know.
It's Portuguese sausage.
Portuguese sausage.
I wanted to get a piece of Spam on the side. Can I do that? Because I want to try it. But I want to get—
this is Spam, rice, and egg.
I want the Portuguese rice. Or sausage, Portuguese sausage.
It's just white rice, sausage on the side, and eggs on the side.
All right, you're getting that.
I want a piece of Spam.
You're getting Spam. What's in it?
Apple slices, bacon. Ooh, bacon. Ooh, sauces. Wait, I want bacon.
We're not even taking a picture, we're just recording. Don't leave the hickey on my cheek.
Take your egg water.
Thank you.
Spread out whatever you got going on in there.
I don't know what anything is, so they ordered it. My stomach is burning and empty. I know I got bacon. Oh my goodness, what is that?
Soy sauce in there.
Chicken nuggets?
That's the bacon. Are you serious?
Yeah, $2.30.
Dang, they really melty here.
That's bacon from a local gelato.
I got to get a picture of this. Is there salt and pepper?
Portuguese sausage has changed over time.
What would have been really good— I don't know if that's bacon they gave you. That's like one piece of bacon. It'll be good. Mmm, this is good.
Look at her cutting ways over there.
Zoda Hawaii to Zoda McDonald's.
First impressions?
Sticky rice. We need soap.
Yeah, was that the Portuguese sausage?
That's Spam. Pão de Salsa.
Oh, when I hear Portuguese, I just think of emerald. That's good. Rice is good. Spam, that is actually really good.
Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, I might be buying Spam Hawaiian style.
You know what would be really good on here with the Spam and that? Grilled pineapple.
Let's make it Hawaiian-y.
Next thing you know, we'll be in Puerto Rico trying to get, uh, tortillas.
That would be really good. Oh, I really like this Spam. What is going on? Yeah. Oh my gosh, they have low sodium Spam. They do?
Yes, they do. It's good.
That is good.
I'm—
the Portuguese sausage is almost like a, um, you know, the— when you do like like a jerky type sausage. You know how it's, it's real dense?
Yeah. Sounds like McDonald's was a success.
All right, next on the food tour, we're at Leonard's. Leonard's. Leonard's.
Leonard's.
Leonard's. Apparently this is a must-try place to go to for baked goods. So let's give this a shot. Just get a dozen. Flavor of the day is ube.
The malasadas puff, 2 of each flavor including the featured flavor, ube.
What is that?
What is What is that?
It's a hot dog. It looks like a turtle. Oh, how do you do this?
Turn it aside. Exciting! You get that side, I'll get this side.
Oh my God, they're so hot.
So hot. So hot.
Oh my gosh, the smell is heavenly. Oh my God, we got all of these.
There's the ube. This is the hopia.
Oh my gosh, look, this is the guava.
Oh my gosh, try the cream first. Oh my gosh, what's it taste like? Is it hopia? It looks like hopia.
I don't know. Oh my gosh, all this sugar.
Try it. I'm trying to make sure I can't see the signs. This is hopia for sure.
What does that mean?
Coconut.
Oh, this sugar is going to be all over this car.
You can clean it, it's a rental.
So hot, and you can tell they make meat out of roses in it. Oh, it's good.
Y'all trying to kill a brother. Good.
Oh, dark. I don't even know if you got any coconut cream, did you?
No, no, but it was good though. It was crunchy.
Oh my gosh, wait, here we go. Open your pie hole.
Yeah.
Oh my gosh.
Mm, I'm not really a coconut guy.
I know you're not, but it tastes good. It's a—
it tastes more buttery than like a butter coconut. Make another one down there. What you got?
Those people making a killing frying up these little dough balls.
I'm trying to understand what is what. Like, what is this one? Oh crap, Justin, look what he did!
Well, you're cleaning the car.
What's this?
That's our beach towel, hun.
I know.
Mmm, it's good.
Hurry up, we look like weirdos. Very good. My daughter, I love her, I love her so much.
Love you, we're in Hawaii together. These are the best moments of our lives. Um, one moment. She's asking if we can view it at 1 today. Yeah, sure.
We've got nowhere to go.
Sure.
Okay.
Okay, we can come at 1 o'clock today. Okay, see you then. Okay, so we're at Makapuu Beach, but we're trying to look at the chapel up there, which is the St. Catalina Chapel. Might get married there. We'll see, we'll see.
So the plan is to get married in Hawaii. She's from Guam, her family lives in Guam. Obviously I'm in Florida, so the middle point is Hawaii. I'm trying to do like a little small thing, and while we're here for someone else's wedding, we're also going to look for our own venue weddings. So I'm trying to find something intimate, intimate, but scenic, and that people can do something to. So we'll see. Destination wedding 2024, July 20th. That's the goal. See what we can find.
