Russell Brunson 50K Insight

Omar paid $50K for Russell Brunson's Inner Circle and got 15-minute group sessions instead of one-on-one coaching. He shares how to extract value from expensive programs: ask strategic questions, use the framework they teach, and build down-sell offers like Brunson's "Baby Steps" model.

So the first thing I'm going to share really quickly, and this is just brief stuff, like I'm letting you guys in on stuff that like I paid $50,000 to get, but also I want to like teach you my mindset in it, right? So, so number one, when it comes to the investment that I made with Russell, this was partially me saying to myself, let me pause with Myron. Like I was able to renew for a third year with Myron. And I just was like, you know, I'm going to try something new. Also, what's cool is like Myron's in that room or in the inner circle for Russell. Now, I am different. I'm a different person than I was when I first joined Myron's thing in 2023, right? Like when I joined 2023, that was, that was a big faith step. That was a huge for some people that here, you know, even joining in the last couple of weeks. This will be the— it'll feel like the most richest investment you've ever made. But every investment after this, even though it will be more, won't sting as much, if that makes sense, because you'll know the power of investing in yourself. Because then at some point it becomes like, let me just find the person and pay the person. Let me just find the room and get in it. Let me just— right. Like, the more you have that self-awareness, the less it stings. So joining Russell's, it was an onboarding discovery call that was like, Yeah, man, it's $50 grand. Yeah, you can put $10 down. I'm like, yeah, cool. Like, okay, go take the money. Where do I send it? Wire transfer. Cool. Boom. Now, now my eyes are open and it's like, okay, how does Russell— this is insight number one— how does Russell run his inner circle? Because if I learn how he fulfills on a $50K offer, is there anything I can get? Now I'm gonna, I'm gonna share something. I'm gonna say it in a way that I've never said before. If I get nothing for joining Russell's thing at $50K, from my perspective, if I get nothing, guess what I get? Confidence. Confidence in what, Omar? Confidence that what I do is better. So I'm just letting you guys in in the back door, okay? Okay, so, and I'm not saying anything. What I am saying is like, this is a vetted group. I think they realize that like these people aren't, they're busier, they don't really show up on call. I went to the first call and there was like 6 people on the call and then I'm like, where is everybody? Where's like Eileen? Where's like all my friends? You know, like, but I get it. Maybe they're busy. But then also, like, I realized, like, the onboarding process, I had to reach out and say, hey, man, to the guy, their guy. I'm like, hey, man, can you, like, show me where things are? Like, I don't know where things are. Yeah, yeah. Here's the email and let's hop on a call. Cool. I'm all good with that. I, you know, I would— I was under the impression, which is 100% my fault, that this time I got with Russell was about an hour. I was under the, I was gonna have my little one hour with Russell, let's go. And then we get to Boise and it's my fault 'cause I just opened up the email and I see the Google Doc and I see the schedule, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. And they're 15-minute blocks. Oh, Art, we, We flew to Boise for a 15-minute block. Okay, now check this out. I could be salty or I could learn something. So number one, I said to myself, I'm like, you know what, Russell's a genius, bro. Has a one-on-one element in his offer of Inner Circle that is delivered in a group setting that's also a live event. That's like, what are we talking about? Omar, I just want one-on-one time with you. Did you like, by the way, I removed the one-on-one. There was a one, there used to be guys, just so you guys know who are new. There used to be a one-on-one element with my, with the Inner Circle. And here's what happened. It became too much, in all honesty. And here's what also happened. They were repetitive calls, like these one-on-one calls. We were talking about the same thing every time. So in my mind, I'm like, I either group everybody together, or if they want to pay in full, we can do the one-on-one as a podcast. So like, I'm just letting you know, like, If you have eyes like this, you can pull value out of anything. So I literally, I'm like, Decade in a Day is a brilliant offer element that is one-to-many, but is perceived as one-on-one. So that was a level of insight. Now when I say that I spent, or I paid for $50,000 of confidence, Art's my witness because I'm going through now, like, for the first time in a month and a half, I'm like going through the portal. I'm like seeing what I have access to and it's like 3 different school groups and like 5 different— and it's fine. Again, I'm not, I'm not going to play. I'm not. All I'm saying is like people show up to my calls. All I'm saying is like the momentum goes crazy. All I'm saying is like there's one place to go there. All I'm saying is like we make it. I'm literally, I'm literally like, bro, I have the greatest offer in the world. And when I say this is what it means to buy belief, you could hear it in my tone. I am convinced, persuaded, jaded, swayed that this program is better than everybody else's. Like, I mean, now who gets to choose that belief? I do. But I bought my way to believe that. I'm like, I'm like, literally, I mean, dude, I meet people all the time. Hey, well, you know, what's our offer? Oh yes, $27K and I got a $55K. Cool. Like, what do you— yeah, just, I mean, hey, we got 6 events, we're letting people come to, we got in, we got in-person masterminds, done-for-you element. I'm like, what are we talking about? So that's what it did, is it bought the $50K, bought me confidence. And then, and then this last thing I'm going to share about Russell's thing. This is very deep cuts right here, okay? Because this is right when I'm— everything I just told you up to this point, it's like stuff I kind of like just acquired, you know, like just that ability to pull anything out of anything. Like the— when I lost $100,000 to the a Ponzi scheme. It was, it was $100,000 of insight that $100,000 doesn't remove food off the table, doesn't stop us from paying our mortgage. Like, it took me to lose $100,000 to realize how little $100,000 was, right? So like, that, that is what I mean when, you know, when you invest in something, there's always something more you can get out of it. Okay, now And I didn't really think this through how I was gonna deliver it. So just bear with me. I'm sitting there. So me and Art, we golf, shower, then get there during lunchtime because my time's at 2:30 PM. And so after lunch, there's about 4 or 5 people that get to go. And I don't know, man. I think I'm just, there's a level of self-awareness. When you're self-aware, you could notice when other people aren't. There's also, I would say, and I say this with humility, and it sounds prideful to even say that, but as a humble person, I could tell when people just think of themselves, right? I mean, just, okay, so I say all that to say, Me and Art are sitting there. You get one question. They put 15 minutes on the clock. These entrepreneurs are spending 12 minutes asking a question when they have a billionaire in front of them. I'm like, I'm like, I'm like literally looking back at Art. I'm like, what are they doing? Like there's only 3 more minutes. Hey, you know, okay, so Russell, you know, so I have this business, okay. Yeah, so my mom, you know, she actually traveled the country, across the country, you know, started this small bit. I'm like, bro, what are you doing? This is what I mean. 2 weeks ago, by the way, new Inner Circle members, 2 weeks ago I did a whole thing on like maximizing opportunity. This is what I like, bro. If you don't know how to steward opportunity, it'll show. So I'm literally like, this is wild. You want to talk more about your business than have Russell Brunson speak into it. Okay, when I say I practice what I preach, I practice what I preach. I'm not gonna let this moment go away. I'm the only person there with a video guy, number one. You're— none of you, none of you guys have this on, like, none of this isn't like— you guys are not even like— this is what you guys are doing. You guys got scales, bro. They don't even have a concept. And I'm now sounding— now I'm spewing hate. No, I'm just kidding. That's just what I got a lot of my DMs yesterday. I was like, dude, there's— my DMs went crazy, by the way. But I voice memoted, I prayed for people. Some people told me it is a wild time. Okay, but I'm moving, I'm moving back. Okay, I'm literally like Why am I the only guy with a video person here? Why wouldn't anybody maximize this opportunity? Okay, so that's a pattern. I'm just seeing every person take up their 15 minutes and then Russell has 2 minutes to say something and then it's like, meh. It's like, hey. And then even the lack of self-awareness to go overtime. So they go overtime and they keep going and it's like, bro, if you don't know how to, you don't know how to respect time. And all these people, by the way, have made at least 7 figures with a funnel. So like, that's like the room, right? Even this girl who doesn't speak good English, bless her heart, gave Russell a piece of paper so it was more clear. He could read the question, but it took 12 minutes to read the paper. Okay, so, okay. So I lean over to Art and I say, Art, watch how I use this opportunity. Because it is a stage and there's at least, I mean, in the room there's at least 40 people, 30 people or so. Okay. And I'm gonna let you guys know my question. So my question was simply, I'm just letting you know my question. My question was, hey Offer, I've scaled this offer Inner Circle to a few million dollars and I don't know if I should go up in the next offer and work on that or should I go down? That was it. And then, and how do you maintain quality? Because I have a limiting belief that every offer that I think about, I feel like I have to fulfill on. It's just a legit limiting belief I have. Cause I feel like you guys come to come for me. So like, so how do you, you know, maintain quality when you feel like, I guess I am quality control. My brain is quality control. My, my essence is quality control. So anyway, I tell Art, that's my question, by the way, I put in my phone. I say, I was like, Art, watch me. So next on the stage, we have Omar. Woo-hoo! I grab the mic. I say, can we clap it up for Russell for taking time to speak into our businesses, to change our life, for committing? Come on, let's clap it up. Everybody, everybody's clapping it up. They awkward because honor in a culture where we live in a culture of dishonor is a pattern interrupt. So I take a moment, I'm like, let's honor Russell. Okay, awkward claps, whatever. No, come on, come on, let's clap it. All right, cool, cool, cool. All right, now let's clap it up for his team for taking good care of us. Come on. No, yeah, like serving our food. Come on, making sure Guess who their favorite person in the inner circle is now? Ain't nobody got this kind of insight. And by the way, this does come from an ability to— it's both ends. It's understanding persuasion. I understand, like, you can get people on your side if you just show that you're for them. And then it's also, I do honor this. I genuinely honor guys like Russell who have paved the way. Okay, so after that moment, which only took 45 seconds, I said, "All right, Russell." My question is, I ask him my question. He asks a couple clarifying questions. He's like, okay. He's like, there are, there's at least, he's like, how many people are in your, you know, current offer? I was like, I don't know, maybe like 125, 130. He said, there's at least 10% of people in that group that would pay you $50 or $100. Just to let you know, like they would pay you $50 or $100. For more proximity, for more intimacy, for whatever. Like they would, they just would. So I was like, okay. He's like, but again, that would include more of you. So that would— so I'm just letting you know, doing that, it might be, it might be worth your time. It might not be just as far as like how you go about doing that. He's like, now he's like, I have a $10K offer that I sell but I don't coach in? And here, here, here's, here was my $50K insight from, from him answering this. He says, Omar, I hire facilitators, not coaches. Facilitators, not coaches. I was like, oh snap. He's like, let me break down what a facilitator is. All a facilitator is, is a person who's good with people. I have a part-time wrestling, high school wrestling coach as a facilitator in my 10K program. And all their job is, is to point people with what I just did. Hey, the Signature Talk That Sells. Yeah, go in there, watch that stuff. That's not necessarily coaching, right? He's like, because the issue that he found was I would have coaches and then I'd meet my clients or these clients that would be coached by my coaches and my coaches would tell them something to do, something I would never tell them to do. And I'm like, shoot, why'd you do that? Oh, because so-and-so told me to do that. Oh, dang it, I wouldn't have said to do that, yikes. So he's like, facilitators, they're just people who are good with others, with other people. This also means that if you have a downsell or if you have like an offer that you don't fulfill on per se, they should be sold on a framework. They should be sold on something to do. You know, when I say framework, I'm like, you know, let's just say, I always like to use the example of Dave Ramsey, the Baby Steps, right? Like Baby Step to Financial Freedom. Like that's the framework. So like if somebody takes Dave's program that Dave's not involved in, all his facilitators do, they're just pointing, okay, oh, you still just need to save 6 months of an emergency fund. Okay, let's find out how you can do that. You can actually check out module 3.1 to find that out. But that's what, so that, that insight, honestly, who knows how much money I'm going to make with a $5K or $10K offer now that I no longer, that I don't have to fulfill on. This is this. And guys, I still have a year in this program. There's still 5 more events in person. They're like this, but this is how you extract value. Now I'm talking about this 15 minutes with Russell. I'm writing down as he's talking. I'm right. Even though they're recording, I'm writing it down. Facilitator versus coach. Okay. Uh, I need a, I need a framework. I need to sell a framework as a downsell, blah, blah, blah. Okay, cool. There's 4 and a half minutes left on the clock. And I said, well, I got— that's my— I got my answer. Okay, guess what? Then Russell asks me a question. He says, "Well, can I then— can I ask you a question?" I said, "Go for it." "How'd you get so good at YouTube?" I think I got goosebumps sharing this story. And I told him, He's like, your podcast is blowing up and all about, you know, blah, blah, blah. I'm like, well, they say an overnight success takes 10 years. My success takes 19. I've been on YouTube for 19 years. So then now, now I'm selling. Now I'm selling. Yeah, I've been, you know, I grew a channel of 2.8 million subscribers, wanted to start over from scratch just to prove it wasn't. And I was like, dude, guess what, Russell? Guess what? People are paying me $20 grand to be on my podcast. There, there's an, there's a, there's an offer seed drop. And then so I'm like, yeah, I just, I apply the YouTube principles I teach to see the success I have in on YouTube. He's like, man, it's so, it's, it's like really, it's really cool. I was like, okay, I do have another question then, because we still have 2 minutes. I then say, he just recently sold a million-dollar offer to 2 people a couple of weeks ago. So I said, how did you create and then how do you sell a million-dollar offer? And then he kind of just broke it down. Long story short, he pretty much— it's done for you. Signature presentation. We'll run your ads. We'll give you coaching around your delivery, and then we'll, we'll get it to a place where it's a perfect webinar. Then we will automate it, run money. And he's like, each person that paid $1 million should make $10 million with this funnel. I was like, that's— yeah, great offer. Good. Cool. And then the time was done. Okay, that's it. So that was my 15 minutes. I get off the stage. Someone in the group comes to me and says, Omar, great presentation. I said, that wasn't a presentation. That was a 15-minute one-on-one. In her mind, it felt like a presentation. She then goes and tells me, I have this podcast. It's not really doing anything, but my business is this. And I give her one unlock. She's like, how do I work with you? I was like, here's a number. It's $20K to work with me. Yeah. And now I'm not like whether she joins or not, I don't care. I literally don't care. I'm just letting you know, like this. I'm just giving you some insight on the person I've become, but also the person or the mind I have. I'm trying to tell you, let you into my thinking. And this is the exclamation point on the whole thing, okay? Russell requests for me to do a call tomorrow to his entire, they call it, what group is it? What's the thing? It's like a power, I don't know, there should be, I don't know, it's like his 10K offer group. Prime Movers. Prime Movers group. Hey, Russell asked if you can do the call. What is this? What is this? What is this? What is this? This is building a personal brand. This is getting good at communication. And for me, you can believe what you believe. I also call it the favor of God. So that was just 15 minutes. That was— I'm just saying. And then, you know, in October there's another— there's also a real— there's another event in October where, um, you actually present, like, you, you like what's working in your business, and then people can ask questions. So like, that's cool. And that's, that's the difference between Russell and Myron. Myron, you go join his thing because you want him to sit under him, catch something. And then Russell, it's kind of the group, like everyone in the group is some sort of online business. And yeah, and when I say it's eclectic, it's eclectic. Like it's crazy. It's not— it's a lot of education, but there are some service providers and things like that. So that's really cool. So yeah, that's the insight I got on that.
