Your environment determines your future. Surround yourself with people building their own businesses, not those content with routine jobs. Find peers willing to collaborate on content, brainstorm sessions, and networking events that push you forward together.
They want to see people fail. You got to find the people that wants to help you succeed, that wants to root for you. And I think that's why it's, if you're going to shift to be a business owner, entrepreneur, solopreneur, you got to align yourself or be around more people like you that are going after building something for themselves. Because if you're around a bunch of people that are just clocking into their shift and clocking out, they're going to yank you to do things where they just want to like rot. So they want you to rot with them. You got to be with people that are like, "Hey, let's do a filming day," or, "Hey, let's go work on some social media content," or even just post together and sit on our computers, or instead of going out for cocktails, let's have like a coffee morning together and work on, you know, how we're going to promote each other's business or just network, go to a networking event. And those are the kind of people that you want to align with because once you become your own business, your business doesn't stop. You are the brand. So you need to find ways to promote your business in all capacities.
