5 Things You Need to Consider Before Launching Your Program

Kimberly Crowe walks through five things to check before launching a program: you know your topic, you've done the work yourself, it actually helps people, you can automate it, and it energizes you. Skip any one and you'll regret it.
Foreign.
Hey folks, I'm Kimberly Crow. I'm super excited. I am going to be talking to you today about five aspects that you need to put in your freedom program. So if you're about to launch a program, product or service and you are trying to create a freedom lifestyle for you, you may feel like that you are about to launch something, but it's going to take a lot of work or it's going to require a lot of maintenance or you're not really sure if it's going to play right? And I'm going to talk to you about five things that you need to make sure that you look at before you launch your program, product or service to make sure that it is in alignment with a freedom lifestyle. All right, folks, I'm Kimberly Crow. I'm the creator of Entrepreneurs Rocket Fuel and also the co host of Speakers Playhouse. I'm delighted to be here with you today to talk to you a little bit about this particular topic. All right, so item number one that you need to look at, do you have the education to be able to teach on this particular subject? Right. Do you have the knowledge that you need in order to be an expert in this particular area? Now, that knowledge may come from a college education. It may come because you went to a seminar or you learned some stuff about it, or it may come from street knowledge, and that's totally fine. But do you have the knowledge to be able to teach on this area? Now don't go too deep on that because you don't have to be perfect. You don't have to be the one with the most knowledge. Even a kindergartner can learn from a second grader, right? Like, so if you're just a second second grader in this particular topic, being able to teach kindergarteners, you can teach them a lot, like about what it's going to be like to be in this world, right? So don't feel like you have to know everything, but just make sure that you have a little bit of knowledge in this particular area. So question number one is, do you have knowledge in it? Hint. Yeah, you probably do. All right. Number two, do you have experience in this particular area? I hate learning from people who teach me how to do something that they have not really actually done themselves, right? Have they been through the fire? Have they already learned some stuff by doing? So I'm actually a graduate from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Go Mustangs. And their motto is learn by doing, which is also known as learn by failing. But it is all about getting the Experience? Do you have the experience behind you? Have you tried things out? Have you practiced it? Have you actually done stuff and learned from the black and blue rule, right? The rule where you went ahead and tried something out and then if it didn't work, you got a little black and blue, you picked yourself up and you kept going. So do you have the experiences? Number two, in order to create a program that's going to have a freedom lifestyle? Number three, is it going to help other people? Are you able to help other people? Are other people going to be like, man, this is really helpful, right? Is it going to be something where you can help out humanity out there in the world? And if you can, that is. Number three, can you create a program that is going to create a freedom lifestyle if you're out there going to help other people? Lots of people out there are like not quite as far along as you are on their journey. And there are people that need to learn from somebody who is interested in helping them with their knowledge and their experience, but actually with a helpful attitude. So can you be helpful in delivering this message? Item number four, does it create fun in your life? Is it fun fun? Is it fun to be able to teach on this particular subject that you have knowledge and experience about and that's going to help other people? Are you having fun doing it? Now this is a really tricky one because I actually built an entire business and I built it to a million dollars and it was around something that I had the knowledge about, I had the experience with and I knew that it would be helpful to other people. But it was no fun. It absolutely was no fun. I didn't enjoy doing it. I was good at it, but I didn't enjoy it anymore and I knew that I needed to be doing something else. So number four is, is it fun for you to be able to do this? And if it's fun and you can teach it once and then just have it be a repeatable process, awesome. If you have to keep teaching it or you have to keep doing one on ones, or you have to keep doing things that you don't want to do, aspects that you don't want to do, can you offload some of that stuff? Can you automate it? Can you delegate it? What can you do in order to make it fun again? Because if it's not fun, it's not worth doing. And number five, does it light you up? Does it light you up? Does it make you feel like that you are contributing to this world? Right. Howard Thurman was a mentor to Martin Luther King, Jr. And he had a great phrase that I'm going to paraphrase now, and it is don't ask what the world needs. Ask what lights you up, because what the world needs are more people that are lit up. That's right. The world needs more people that are lit up. So create a program, product or service that creates a freedom lifestyle to you, but make sure that it is one that is going to light you up, because that is what the world needs. The world needs you. They need you, and they need you lit up. All right, folks, I'm Kimberly Crowe. If you haven't already subscribed to our channel, you can do that here.
