Tired is a state of mind. Tired has nothing to do. I didn't sleep. How many times have you had two hours sleep and you're on fire? How many times have you had 10 hours sleep and you can't get out of bed?
We're the happiest and the busiest, but I have the most energy I've ever had. I might have been doing, like, half.
Of what I'm doing now, but I.
Was just, like, so exhausted at 3pm every day, and I'm like. It's like having to drag yourself.
For me, at 55, I'm waking up earlier than ever before with more energy than ever before because I love what I do. I just want to keep moving forward. Being tired or feeling lazy or feeling like not doing anything is completely a state of mind. You can change it in a moment. It's all based on motivation.
Dean, my friend, welcome to the show. How you doing?
So good to be with you guys.
Oh, we always. Every time we get to talk to you, I swear it, like, it consumes our conversation for the next day or two. Because we're like. When he said this, he just blew my mind. Or the way you think about things is. Is always so expanding for us. And I love just your backstory and where you've come from in life. So we always love having you back on for the way that you think.
And.
And today we have some really exciting stuff to chat about.
Yeah.
But you know what? Before we get into. I think it'd be really cool to kind of let everybody hear what our chats are like when we're offline. Right. And we just got done. We just got done saying that we are simultaneously the busiest we've ever been and the happiest we've ever been. We spent, like, 10 minutes talking about being happy and seeing happiness on our faces, et cetera. Let's touch on that a little bit. That those two things can coexist.
Yeah. You know what? I love talking about that first off. And I said this. This is what else I said when no one was on. You guys look magnificent. You look amazing. My wife literally just said, she follows Lori. She said these two look the best they've ever looked, but I can tell they're happy. And as a. As a friend of yours, because we. I know you on a personal level, I love that. Because, listen, we can all achieve in business, but success without fulfillment is the emptiest thing on the planet. And I see. I see your connection with each other, I see your connection with people, and I see you Loving it and it makes us smile. So. So just know over here in Arizona, you got a couple people cheering you on in the silent. You know, I love it. So here's. Here's what I. I've been using these words a lot lately, especially with myself, and it's a wish that I would have for everybody and everybody if we know each other. Good to see you. If it's new, thanks for spending this time. I'm in a mood today. I'm in a good mood. So let's have some fun today. I also want to say, I know the last time we were together, I was definitely in a mood and I dropped way too many f bombs when we were live. So. Excuse me. On that one. I was. I was feeling it that day. I was feeling. But then I watched the video. I'm like, oh, God. I don't swear that much usually. So anyway, I want to apologize.
We honestly, like, we love the passion, and I feel like that's just.
I don't know. The feedback was amazing. The feedback I got was unbelievable from your tribe. Anyway. The reason I think you guys are so excited and you can tell me if I'm wrong. The reason I'm working harder than I've ever worked in my life. And I have four kids, two little ones, two teenagers, and I'm putting more time, more energy. I think it's one thing that you guys are getting more and more of. And you'll see, I just got a few years on you guys, but it's. I believe it's work life integration rather than work life balance. Yeah. And I think we were taught you have to have work life balance, and I think that frame came from that. Most people hate what they do. So I picture. So I. I picture work life balance is you're at the front door before you put the key in after a long day at a career you freaking hate. You go, let it go. Let it go. Let it go. It's okay. You're okay. Your family's on the other side. Go in there and act happy. Come on. You know, don't kick the dog and yell at your family. Like. Like, go inside and like, that's what I picture. Work life balance. It's like or. Or drinking on a Sunday or just watching. I'm not knocking this, believe me. I'll have a glass of wine. I'm not talking. I'm like, Some people get obsessed of sports. Good. I love that you love sports. Is it because you love the sports? Are you escaping something you don't like? Are you having cocktails every night because you're with friends, or are you escaping something that doesn't light up your soul? So I think we've been taught this work, life, balance to try to numb the crap that just is tearing us apart. And then when you find something that makes you a better human, at the same time, it's your business and your life. What did Jim Rohn, the old personal development guy, say, for things to get better, we have to get better? Work, life, integration. You don't know when work ends and life begins and vice versa, because both are getting better. And that's what I see in you guys. It's what I'm blessed. My partner, Tony Robbins, but now so many other people is when you find something that you truly love, it's not a pie in the sky anymore. We have opportunities. I'm not saying quit what you're doing today and just run, but we have the opportunity in today's world to absolutely do something that fires our soul up, that makes us better. And when I'm better. Let me ask with you guys, when you guys have a great mastermind and you change lives, when you guys go have a cocktail or a dinner that night, do you go, oh, that was a. That was a hell day. You're like, no, babe. Did you see Sal? Did you see Lisa? She was so stuck. Oh, no, no, no. You should have said, John, he came to me at the end and he said. Or did you see that he doubled his business since he's been with us. Like, your life is growing. You're a better husband, you're a better wife, you're a better friend. If you're a parent, you're a better parent. And all of a sudden, being a better parent and your wife or spouse pat you on the back, you go back to work, and that gets better, and then back and forth. And all of a sudden, you have this integration. And when people say, why are you and Tony still doing this? Because when you discover something so amazing, don't you want to tell everybody? If you have a good meal, you two go out and have an amazing meal, the service is off the charts. What do you tell your dear friends? Do you tell them about it?
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
We.
We make them go there.
Yeah. You know, that was a good night. Like, oh, my God, the pasta was perfect. I don't usually eat pasta, but I ate so much I couldn't breathe. And then they brought the meat and then this and then this and that. You tell them because you want them to experience it. True. But when you find something like you guys have discovered, like we've discovered, where you truly can have life, work, integration and you love it, how could you not want to scream from the mountaintops and say, just go. You want to shake people, just try this. Anyway, that came from what we shared.
No, I was just going to confirm. Like Lori and I, after we do an event, our favorite thing to do is exactly what you described. And that is go have a drink together or meal together and just gush about the event, gush about how it felt, gushing about the. We saw this change in this person or had this conversation with this person. It's one of our all time favorite things to do as a couple. And it hasn't always, we haven't always been in position to be able to go and do. We worked really hard to put ourselves in alignment to do the things that we love, that light us up, that cause a better life for other people who are the recipients. And when you can balance those two things, that's one of the secrets to an amazing life. Feeling good about what you do all the time.
I think the energy comes from, you know, we, we had also said before this, like we're the happiest but in the busiest. But we also have the most. I have the most energy I've ever had where looking back, it's funny, I might have been doing like half of.
What I'm doing now, but I was.
Just like so exhausted at 3pm every day and I'm like, it's like having to drag yourself. So Dean, for you, like, how do you, how do you explain that for yourself? Like your energy increasing as you've done more?
Because I'm a parent of four, right? So I'm going to use, I'm going to use examples with my kids. So if I say to my son, hey, dude, I got my 15 year old, I gotta run to the grocery store because I want to make a nice meal for everybody coming over. Come on, come to the grocery store with me. It's like, ah, dad, come on, I'm tired. It was a long day yesterday, right? It was a long day yesterday and it's a Sunday. This was just literally yesterday. It's a Sunday. I just want to chill. So I got him, I waited about 15 minutes. He's been playing tennis for a year, right? And he's getting really good and he's dying to beat me. The last two matches we had, he beat me for the first time ever. I'm not a great tennis player, but damn, it is he kicked my butt, and I wasn't letting him have any points, so I waited about 10 minutes, and I'm like, hey, you know what? Screw it. I know we got people coming over. Let's fit in a tennis match. You want to go to the club and go play? He's like, oh, my God, absolutely. He jumped out of the. I'm like, oh, hey, what happened? Happened to the kid that was tired and wanted to rest for the day. I'm like, I got you. And remember, I said, remember? Tired is a state of mind. Tired has nothing to do. I didn't sleep. How many times have you had two hours sleep and you're on fire? How many times have you had 10 hours sleep and you can't get out of bed? True sleep time has nothing to do with it. Now, there's some people who are going to not be happy with me saying this, but I literally tell my kids that being tired or feeling lazy or feeling like not doing anything is completely a state of mind. You can change it in a moment. It's all based on motivation, right? So with that, you know, Tony does this. You've watched him train. He's like, you know, you. You just. Food give you energy. Does, you know, does. Does sleep give you energy? All the things. He's like, what could give you more energy than your state of mind? Right? And. And I think that is just this. You guys are loving what you do. For me, at 55, I'm. I'm waking up earlier than ever before with more energy than ever before, because I love what I do. I want to get as much done before the end, right? Whether that's 30, 40 years I got on this planet, I just want to keep moving forward. So I think. I think that, you know, I don't know if I would have believed that in my 20s and 30s, I would have been like, no, but it is absolutely aligned with your purpose in life that determines your energy.
Okay? So clearly, the three of us are sitting on top of the mountain right now, screaming from the mountaintops, guys, you know, you can have this energy, you can be aligned, you can have fun. But there's a lot of people listening right now that might be hearing that and saying, good for you. You don't understand the situation I'm in. Good for you. You don't understand how many jobs I have to work. Do you think that in today's economy, in today's situation, the ability to end up the way the three of us feel right now is still part of the American dream and what's the quickest way you think that they can get in that direction?
Listen, first off, the reason, the second reason we do what we do, Tony and I. And I, I feel blessed to say that Tony and I is my dearest friend. He impacted my life 27 years ago. But I think. I think the reason we do it as well, probably just as important is because I also know what it feels like. And so did both of you, you know, when the economy shifted and your last career ended. Chris, I just know the story of where you both were at. That feeling where you look at each other and go, I don't know if we're going to be okay. And what if this doesn't work out? And what if we never get to live a life of choice? More joy, more happiness, more decision making on our own? Like. Like there is that. There is that sense, that feeling when you know you're a millimeter away from living a life that's status quo, that maybe your parents or your friends live that you know you're not meant for. And a millimeter on the other side is living this life of choice, abundance and love. What you do and life, work, integration, they're a millimeter apart. And the emotions on both sides are. One is terrifying and one is unbelievable. And I think knowing both of those sides is probably why you fight so hard and so do Tony and I, because they are literally a millimeter away. And our brain, in a shifting world like we're in right now, let's just face it, stuff is crazy out there, especially here in the United States. It is insanity, right? Uncertainty at an all time high. Things happening in politics and people and the super left and the super right, making us all think we're crazy. When most of us are aligned, all that kind of stuff is happening. When that stuff starts happening, we don't realize that we can sometimes sit on our hands. We can see obstacles, not opportunity. We could see what we've lost rather than what we can gain. And what I want to tell you in times like these, I know it might be hard if you're in the middle of something right now and you're juggling a couple jobs and you're trying to figure it out and say, oh, yeah, I'd love to have that perfect, magical life, Dean, but let me just tell you, most people are going to stay where they are because they're scared and they're waiting for someone to save them or waiting someone to fix it. Nobody's coming to fix anything. This is on us. And here's what I know when everything's going easy, you have a lot of competition. Things are a little uncertain. You don't have any competition. There is more opportunity now than I've seen in my. I've been an entrepreneur for over 30 years. I've never seen a time where you can utilize tools and technology to take what used to take months and do it in weeks, days or minutes. I've never seen a time where we have access to so many people through this phone. Instead of it using us, we should be utilizing it. I've never seen a time where technology that used to cost tens of thousands of dollars can now talk cost a couple dollars a day. I've never seen a time where I personally. You guys know this personally? Tony and I have been working on a project where it's been downloading the way Tony and I think for the last 30 years of business and in this industry and it thinks like we do. You literally can have a virtual hot seat with Tony and I in your pocket 24 hours a day to answer the way we would answer, to build a company, to start a company, to scale a company, to market a company. We have so many things at our fingertips to make this a great time to prosper, a great time to be a part of the American dream, no matter where you live. But it all starts, I could say you could have the greatest tool in the world, but it all starts upstream with your belief, right? Not to get into. But if you believe you can, you will. If you believe you can't, you won't. So that's why we like to bring all of those aspects together. Chris, because I and Laurie, I think it's a. It's a beautiful time to do your own thing. It's a beautiful time to investigate. It's a beautiful time to understand how to expand your business and have an unfair advantage like you guys have and create a. An information product attached to whatever business you have. If you don't, you're missing out. You should have it. But you got to first start with realizing opportunity is huge. You got to look for it. You've lost some things, but you got way more that you've gained. Right? And we have to look to where the world's going. So I hope that helped start the conversation on big time.
Yes. Okay, so now that you've said all that and people are starting, their wheels are starting to turn. Like, okay, what type of business should I be looking at? Is this like traditional brick and mortar, personal brand digital? Where would you first, what's the thing you're most passionate about talking about.
Okay, so I'll give you four things. Of course, the most passionate thing I'm talking about is what you guys do, what Tony and I do. And that's taking a life experience, a career skill, a business skill, a passion, and turn it into a product. Right? Now, you know when, when people talk about inflation, my partner, Tony Robbins interviewed Warren Buffett and then he sent me the interview and Warren Buffett said, what's the best investment you can make in yourself? Get better at what you do. He said, the second thing is don't start a company with huge startup costs and huge product costs because you'll get eaten alive during inflation. You thought your product was going to cost you five bucks, now it's costing you ten. Your business is over. Right? Why I love information products is it doesn't cost anything and it's the most valuable asset you own. You don't have to store it, you don't have to warehouse it, you don't have to ship it, you don't have to care about inflation. If inflation goes up, it doesn't matter because you are providing an asset that allows people to go faster in their goals. That's number one. So me, I'm going to look through the lens of the self education, knowledge industry, whatever you want to call it, selling what you know, you have a life experience that is insanely valuable to someone else. You just need to know how to package it, sell it, get people to sell. Yes, say yes, and deliver it. That's what Tony and I have been helping people with for six years. But I want to, I'm going to take a minute and feel free to stop me at any time. But I've, I've been, you know, getting ready. We're doing, Tony and I are doing our big yearly event June 13th through the 15th. So you guys know me personally. I obsess on this. I've been obsessed for weeks. I will obsess until the morning of the 13th. I've handwritten my, my presentation three times already. Like, I really want to meet people where they are. And during this time, I've done some great interviews with our friends with Lewis Howes and Ed Mylett and other great people. And there's a common thread of how do people find success in this new world, Right? And you guys both know more than anyone. Does it take a horrific pass, you guys? Laurie, I know your past. Chris, I know yours. Some had. One of you had amazing support. One of his. One of you is like, you're crazy. You'll never make it. And you're both insanely successful. Right? So we both, we all come from different places, and the definition of success is deep. It's a little different for Chris as it is for you. How did I get here? What path did I use? What motivation? But if I broke it down to four buckets, I've been trying to think how to break it down. Here's what I come up with. Number one, the industry, you have to be in something that's going to grow. It doesn't matter how hard you work. If you're in an industry that's dying, you are in the wrong boat, rowing in the wrong direction. You're never going to get to shore. You're never going to catch a wave. You know, if I was sitting here right now and say, hey, guys, I'm raising Money, I'm buying 300 taxi cabs for here in Arizona, you guys want to put a million bucks in? You'd be like, dean, sorry, I don't think. I mean, especially here in Arizona. I don't know when the last time you guys are here. It's not just Uber anymore. They have the Waymo. Yeah, my kids take Waymo every day. The driverless cars are all over Arizona. They're everywhere.
Everywhere.
Uber's getting their. Their tail handed to them right now, right? So you don't want to be in an industry that's going down because no matter how fast you go, you can't keep up with it. So, number one, just be a part of an emerging industry if you're gonna get out of the thing, the career or the business you have that's not filling your heart, not filling your bank account, or you just hate. Just make sure you're investigating something of where the world is going. That's why we love this industry. It's at a billion dollars a day, predicted to be a trillion a year within three years. It's. It's insane where this industry is going, because people would just rather learn from somebody who's already been there. Right? I can go to school. I could learn on my own. Or I could just model Chris and Laurie. Or I can model Dean. Right? So number one is industry number two. This is obvious, but I'll remind you, we must model proven practices. The thing that I believe kills all new dreams and new businesses is when people start asking, how? Well, how do I pack? If we're talking about my industry, right? This could be any industry. Please. This applies anywhere. But if it's my industry, well, how do I know what I should sell and how do I package it, how do I create a course and how do I collect the money? How do I find people who want it, how do I sell through service? I don't know how to do all that stuff. And all of a sudden your brain starts going, how, how, how? No way I could do it. I'm too old. I don't like technology. There's too much competition. I'm not really an expert. I'm done. How will screw you up every time? It's who's already done it, right? Not if you're listening outside the States. And maybe you don't follow baseball, but when you model proven practices, you get to start off where somebody left off in a baseball analogy. You get to start on third base or you get to start three quarters of the way there because you've already been through the journey. You've already failed miserably. You've already found a path then, so you could start off where other people left off. So stop asking yourself how and ask yourself who's already been there. Discover that person and model proven practices. So if you're in the right industry, you model proven practices. The next most important. This is just. This is just literally. I've come up with this in the last couple weeks because I've asked this question, been asked this question so many times, is the third is having a bigger purpose than you're used to having. You have to have a purpose so big it brings tears to your eyes or goosebumps to the back of your neck because in times of uncertainty and times when things are going sideways, you're going to question yourself. Things aren't going to work directly out of the gate. And it is so easy to go, maybe I should just be happy with the life I had. You have to be so disturbed with not reaching your purpose or your why that nothing stops you. Your mom saying, hey, isn't it time to slow down? Or a brother saying, hey, is this really the industry you think you should be in? Or a cousin or a friend or. Or. Or thinking, I'm dyslexic or I'm not good on camera. All that stuff means crap. When you have a long enough why? When you have a deep enough purpose, because you are going to need it. Ogman Dino's book, the World's Greatest Salesman, I love that book. And he says most people think the prize is at the beginning of the journey. It's not. It's at the end of the journey. And you got to keep going around Corners until eventually, around one corner, your next level of life, your dream will be, well, you don't keep going around corners unless your purpose is big enough. Yeah. And, and I had, I had two young kids come in and interview me. They're YouTubers, really nice kids, are brothers. And, and they asked me a similar question. And I use them as an example. But I'll use you two. And I think you should really hear this because it's. When people talk about, well, I'm really, I really want to be financially free. I want to be independent. It's got to be deeper than that, like something so deep that it causes an emotion. I know the relationship you guys have when no one's watching. I know the depth of your relationship. We love it. It's why my wife and I love having dinner with you guys. It's. It's magical. We truly enjoy you too. If you guys were in different states, you were here in Arizona. Chris, Lori, you're in California. And Lori called you Chris and said, hey, I just ran out of gas. Could you do me a favor? Could you run here all the way from Arizona and get me gas? Probably be like, lori, you're self sufficient. You could figure things out. Go get a gas can, call aaa, I don't know, get somebody to do it. But if Lori called you and said, chris, and I'm not trying to be morbid, Chris, I was in a car accident and I need your kidney or I'm not gonna make it. But the only way is you have to run here from Arizona, I could get emotional because you would literally run out the door and not even ask. You'd be on the highway, running as fast as humanly possible, stopping cars, robbing cars. I'm not trying to be overly dramatic, but you need that. I have tears in my eyes and my. I have goosebumps on my end. Because to shift your life to go from a career mindset, to overcome people in your life that, that doubt you because they love you, to, to fail and keep moving forward, you need something that, so strong that you would run out the front door. And nothing can stop you because that leads to the fourth thing, and that's back going back to Ahmed Dino. Where that came from was, I will persist until I succeed. So if you really think about that, I'm not trying to oversimplify success, but if you're in the right industry, modeling the right strategies, you know the reason why you're doing it, and you keep going until you have success, how can you fail? Am I being overly Optimistic or am I just.
No, you're, you're being spot on. You literally can't fail if you promise to. One, keep persisting and two, keep adjusting until you figure it out. Right? You only fail by stopping, by quitting. And I really want to give permission to people listening right now because I've got a feeling people are starting to shift just in this quick 30, 40 minutes so far. I think they're starting to shift to wait, okay, maybe I could do it. And you said something that I want to make sure we point out. We are best suited to learn from somebody else who went first. Right. And that means we're also best suited to teach others that we're just a little bit ahead of. And I saw a quote this morning and it said I am simultaneously allowed to be both a work in progress and somebody who helps other people. And I just think a plumber learned from a plumber, but probably not the greatest plumber in the world. A carpenter learned from another carpenter, but probably not the greatest carpenter in the world, and so on and so on. So give people permission that if they're starting to open up, starting to wake up, like, okay, maybe I could do this, but I'm not there yet. Talk to that person.
Self doubt is, is, is a tough one. But you have to realize, you know, and here's what I love, and I've said this before and I got to say it again, I've asked people this for years. I said if you had a choice, there's a big check, I could write you a million dollar check right now. Take it, go on. Or I could grant you a wish to go back and spend one whole week with your 20 year old self.
Easy. 20 year old self. Easy.
Yeah. 99.9% of the people, when I'm on chat with a hundred thousand people, the chat just lights up. And every once in a while somebody said, I think I'll take the money. Why is it so valuable? Because you'd go back and say, oh my God, Chris, listen, I know you think your parents put you through school and you got to use that degree, but, but you could take that same energy and you could apply into your own thing. You could start at 24 years old, not 34 years old. Listen, but here's the four things you must know about business, right? Or in your relationship. Don't worry, this is the way it's going to land. And this is who the man you want to be, or your health or your family, or make sure you spend more time with your family. Because they're not going to be here forever. All of these things are priceless. If you go through a divorce, if you go through depression, you have all these things that you could share. So when people say millions or a million, I mean, people say, I would take that over a million dollars. Your information being one step ahead, one chapter ahead, one year ahead, 10 years ahead of somebody else. Your knowledge, your skill is that valuable to someone else because they're either going to have to experience on their own and they could try so much that they finally just give up and they never achieve their goals. They could try to go back to college and get general knowledge, which isn't working anymore. They can learn through trial and error, which is the hardest of them all, or you can learn how to identify that incredible asset, that experience that lives inside of you and shorten the gap for other people. So the fact of the matter is, I love what you said. Not only do you want to learn from somebody and model their proven practices, there are people right now that need to learn your proven practices. And something Trent Shelton shared at one of my events, I thought was so strong, our mutual friend Trent said, and here's the. Here's the best part. There are people out there waiting that can only hear it from you.
Yep. Because you're gonna say it differently than everyone else. Right. And you said something I want to make sure they caught. And that is when you go through something rough that doesn't disqualify you from helping people, it actually further qualifies you more. Yep. Yep.
Okay. So something that you had been talking about, this event that you have coming up, which we'll chat about, too, but you talk about condensing time and reducing complexity, which I think is like, if that. If we can do that and get people out of their heads around it. Because we know now over all of these years being in this, it's. It's like the simpler the better. But how do you explain that to people?
Yeah, even better than that. I've been thinking about this a lot. So I think the reason, one of the main reasons, I believe Tony. And I mean, I say Tony and I. I don't. I don't know anyone that's been in this industry longer than me except Tony. Right. I've been in it. Next year will be 30 years, every day of my life. Right. Tony's in 44, so I don't. So I love the fact that we get to do this together. And I believe the reason, when we came together, we were able to do you know, we've had 11 events in a row, guys that have averaged 1.1 million people. 11 in a row. Right. Our smallest 600,000. Our biggest 2.6 million. Right. I think we've been able to help people so much because Tony is the best that I won't even pretend when it comes to the marketing business structure, how to lay it out, how to do it. I think I'm the best in this, in this space to do it. When it comes to overcoming past beliefs and crafting a new story and getting a state in mind, can we agree, like, there's nobody even close second place to Tony Robbins. We all quote him. We and half the people who don't quote him are actually still using his stuff. That right. So I think we've done so well. And this is the conversation Tony and I have been having. And I love this question. Laurie, I've never been asked and I love this question. I think we've gotten people so much success and Tony before me is because we get inside their mind and realize all of it starts with our thinking. We have old stories, we get to crush them, we get new beliefs. And we just put ourselves in a state to do the work, to persist until we succeed. But I think we have something that could outperform that. And that's what we're talking about this year. Results. I could talk you into the state of the mind that you could figure out what to sell. I could figure out how to help you get in the state of mind to extract your, your, your, your brilliance, to craft it, to create it, to lay out six teaching points. I could teach you all that. And along the way I got to keep you in the space because maybe you never did this before, but what if today you could go into a ask Donian Dean AI that thinks like us and in three seconds it lays out your course. In five seconds, it names it, it prices it. In 12 seconds, after you answer some questions, it says no. Chris, you're a little bit of an extrovert or an introvert. You should build a course. Laura, you love being around people. You should take the same information, convert it into a mastermind in purpose, in person, and you should do it at events. What would I teach? What is the agenda? This is the agenda Tony and Dean would do. I'm not trying to oversimplify it, but we live in a time like this is truly a once in a generation opportunity. This is truly. You're either one step ahead or two steps behind. This is innovation made easy to go quicker. So Tony and I could spend the time to get in the state and overcome obstacles. But in four minutes, if you can go, oh crap, there's my story, there's my course. That's the, the name, that's the price, and that's my ideal client. And that's the headline I should use. That's the email I should send. Boom. Like, so that's what we're going. That's why we're calling this event. The game has changed because it just has. Like Tony and I laugh like he always says, you know, when we started, we had to walk uphill to school both ways in the snow, but really we did. We had to shoot infomercials, we had to put product in a warehouse, we had to ship it. Now what we used to take months to do, we can do in minutes. So the game has changed and I think results will outperform even the right state of mind.
I couldn't agree more. You know, we've got a friend that was staying with us this weekend and he's a major league baseball agent for really big time players. And he was saying his agency is now going the direction of having less attorneys review all the contracts and more tools that will quickly review it in a matter of seconds and red flag everything. And it saves all the time, save the mistakes. Science, you know, it saves all these things that might trip other people up and everything's just getting simpler. And this is what the two of you built literally is a way to eliminate the old hurdles of doing things and to make it simpler. And it's just, it's about as inspiring and exciting as, as it can get.
It's why I literally can't sleep well right now because I'm so stoked until we get to the 13th. But a second part is there's two things I want to talk about with all the technology that's coming out. One, just really think about this giving you the opportunity to get off the blank page. Right. I see things out there right now, you know, use AI to build everything that's not going to last. Don't worry about it. We are going to that. Those people are going to flood the industry with information. We already have too much information. People say we're in the information age. We are drowning in information. It's everywhere. What are we starving for? Wisdom. We're drowning information and we're starving for wisdom. And when we show people how to lay it out, to get people results, to show them how to make it so they could deliver it with straight courage and Confidence and give people step by step wisdom to get the breakthroughs they want, whether they want to speak better, play piano, learn a new language, or fix the marriage they're in or get through an elegant divorce. When you know how to create wisdom and steps based on your life experience, based on Tony's 74 and I's 70 plus years, you provide wisdom and you stand out. You feel good about it and you can have that opportunity for that work. Life integration 100.
Okay, so tell us about the event coming up. You guys are doing something really special that's going to touch on all this stuff and you're going to make it tangible for people. Do you mind lifting a curtain on that a little bit?
Yeah, not at all. Not at all. It's June 13th through the 15th, and, and here's what I'd say. You're all invited for free. It's not kind of free. It's totally free. We only do it once a year. I would trick yourself and pretend you paid a thousand bucks for it. Because a lot of times when people hear free, they're like, ah, maybe I'll go. If you know anything about Tony, if you know anything about me, we go all in. We're going to go about three hours a day. And we're calling it. The game has changed because we are going to reveal easy technologies that have condensed and collapsed the time to results. If someone says, I already have my own business, I'd love to do this, but I'm busy. And say it takes six months. No, you could do it in six days. Now. Not. And I'm not hyping this. It's just where we're at. And then where AI is going to get in trouble is when people just let AI build it. But when you have something that we've created that gets you on third base, and then we teach you how to make it 100% yours and bring in your personality, like Trent said, they need to learn from you. That's where this game has changed forever. So day one, we're going to show you how to identify the asset that lives in your brain. Whether that's a career skill or a business skill or a personal experience or a passion you have. We're going to teach you how to fit you. If it's a course you should build or a coaching program, or do you want a mastermind or a group training or a monthly community, that's all going to happen in day one. And we're going to lay out what you should be teaching. All that will happen And Tony's going to be on for an hour and a half and just rock your world. That's just day one. So you'll go to bed that night vibrating from Tony, realize that nothing can get in your way, and you'll know what to offer, who to offer to, and how to package it. Day two, that's my favorite day because I teach people how to sell through service. I'll teach you how to find the ideal client that wants it and how to get them to say yes through love, not through some cheesy sales tactic. Day three is going to tell you how to deliver it with confidence. And all through it, we have amazing and incredible surprise guests popping in through the entire thing. So the whole goal is for you to go there and realize, this is me, you know, and somebody asked me the other day, who's it for? I said, I just blurted these out. And I'll probably say it again at the event. It's for the investigator. That's someone who's unfulfilled in their current career or their current life. And they're just saying, could this be for me? Number two is the part timer. You've been thinking about being an entrepreneur forever. You start, you get a little scared, you run out. Maybe you just haven't had all the right tools. And then the last is the business owner who needs to put an information, attach an information product to their pnl. It'll be the most profitable part of your company. So if you fit in one of those buckets, you can go to deanandoni live.com forward slash Chris. Or you could go Dean Laurie.
Yep, they both work.
They both work. Go. And I'm sure you'll put it in the show notes, but go reserve your spot. Then I'd say after you reserve your spot, grab a friend, get an accountability partner. Do it with someone. We only do it once a year. When we're done, honestly, people are going to know that the game has changed forever. And I love that Tony and I get to be the ones to change it.
Yeah, having the inside scoop. I can tell everyone listening it truly has changed, like overnight. And even if you've gotten on these in the past, what's different this time is what tripped you up in the past. Okay, that's great, but that seems too cumbersome to learn. Okay, that's great. But I'm not good at tech. Everything has gotten extremely simple now compared to even last year. And I'm not sure people comprehend how big the leap has been.
Well, you know, the reason can Be.
One way to find out, and that's by coming and learning.
Yeah. So I get excited about this. So I don't mean to interrupt, but what I want to tell you is I have been in this industry almost every day for 29 years. 28 and a half years, right? Tony, for 44, it has changed the same amount every year. Right. We had to start with infomercials and product and the Internet made it a little easier. Online social media made it a little easier. It's been getting exponentially better. And why? This industry is growing each year, but the last year has been straight up, like, literally. We could look at 44 years of this industry and then a massive change. People want to learn from you. They don't want to go back to school. They don't want to learn on their own. They want your expertise. Extracting it, packaging it, selling it, and putting money in your bank account has never been easier. And I'm not talking about some magical money machine. It does everything for you. You get our 74 years of experience of knowing how to go faster and quicker. And the best part about this is you can truly do this alongside of what you're currently doing. Get momentum, see it. When that starts doing better than the thing you might not like, then you can decide if you want to replace them.
I love that the barrier to entry is now almost nothing. The upside is everything. And it's easier than it's ever been. So, guys, listen, if you want to go get these three days for absolutely free, go to deanandtonylive.com Chris or deanandtonylive.com Lori. They both work and Dean, I just want to kind of start to wrap with this. Thank you for going first. Both you and Tony, You2 are two of the most incredible human beings. Not just outside looking in, but having the privilege of getting to know you. You wake up every day and you say, how can I make this easier to give somebody a freaking chance? And this year you did it bigger than ever. Lori and I are going to tune in because we know that there's stuff that we can learn, a lot that we can learn. So we're going to be there for those three days. But just a heartfelt thank you for always bringing everybody along.
Well, thank you. I love hanging out with you guys. I love the interviews and you, you have such an incredible tribe and watching your. Your growth is just fun. And I want to. I want to. And it's not because you gave me a compliment, but I want to tell you, you guys listening to Chris and Laurie. You following Chris and Laurie? Laurie, I've been in this industry again almost 30 years and I've met a lot of people and I've stayed close to a handful and it's an honor to be close to you guys and get random texts and dinner when we can fit it in.
