This is a YouTube video titled "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EAVWtUDqjTM" containing a discussion between two speakers about a problem-solving framework in business, focusing on defining problems clearly, considering options, and making recommendations. The conversation appears to be instructional or advisory in nature, recorded on August 1, 2025. There is no indication that Lori Harder is one of the speakers.
When people come to you with problems, which will happen every day if you're in business, I want you to just stop them for a sec and just ask them, have you thought through your 1, 3? 1? The philosophy is simple. One problem. A problem well defined as half solid. So just asking somebody, what problem are you trying to solve? Like, literally will change your business. So usually they go, well, we don't have enough leads. Perfect, you don't have enough leads. What are your three viable options you've considered? That's the three. Have you done any research? Have you talked to people? What are your three viable options? And then the third one, the last of the three, the last one is what is your recommendation? What I want to hear is all based on that. And we already have this. Working and making something work better is probably easier. So let's do the first one. Perfect. Sounds good. 90% of the time that people come back to you, whatever they recommend is actually what you want them to do.
It's such a great structure for giving them confidence as well. Because what they're asking is, okay, if I do this and think through it and get a good decision, is that okay to go with?
