Rewire Your Brain To Take On Challenges (+ Big Announcements for 2025)

Pain is inevitable, but struggle is a choice. Like, there are always going to be hard things, but how you perceive them, how you approach them, how you feel and how you think about them or dwell on them is how you're going to actually perceive your whole life. Hey, everyone. Welcome back to the podcast. It's time for another quickie, because there's always time to fit in inspiration. And I just wanted to take this New Year quickie to tell you about a couple of things that I'm doing in my life right now, and also just a couple of the things that we have coming up for you this year. So I do have a secret podcast that is coming out, so stay tuned for that. It's going to be called Operation Rekindle this Bitch, and it is totally unfiltered. It is a very different version of me than I am putting out right now. Not because I'm a different person, but because I think that there is a level that we are all editing ourselves. And you guys know it. You know this is true. We edit ourselves for all different reasons. Some of it is great, some of it is not. But I really wanted to kind of start having a place where I practice, like, just letting her rip, like, just saying what I actually feel. And I'm sure there's a version of me that's still edited on this, for sure. But I will tell you that it's definitely just a podcast that I want to release to say how I'm feeling in my life and almost be a little bit of a form of, like, freedom therapy for myself and hopefully for you. So you guys stay tuned for operation rekindle this 2025, because I'm excited about it. And that's one exciting thing that I have going on. Another thing is, obviously Glo is just my absolute heart and soul and getting that business and product out into the world because I'm so obsessed with it. I just hired this incredible researcher to do even more research on our product just so I can really start talking about it even more in depth. And the really cool, crazy thing is that this researcher who works with a lot of different people in a lot of different doctors that I know, that's how I got the name was like, oh, my God. After doing research on your product, I want to take your product because it's so freaking good. Like, you chose all of the right ingredients. And that just made me feel even more excited about glossy. And also, we've been able to pass on savings to you guys now that we've been able to up Our minimum order quantity because of all of you amazing freaking human beings who are now a part of the glossy community. And I don't know if you guys know this, but when you're in startup mode, when you're getting a product out in the world, it's a lot more expensive because your order quantities are a lot less and because in the beginning, your partners are taking a risk on you and you're just paying a lot more to get your product out there. Now, this is really exciting because he has had this for quite a few years. Oh, my gosh. I think he's had it six or eight years. I am so bad with timelines, you guys. It's like one of my toxic traits. I really question my brain sometimes. I'm like, did that happen five years ago or 15 years ago? I'm really not sure. But I have joined him in running this Mastermind that he has had for a long time now. I've always gone to the dinners and sometimes gone to the days to see the different speakers and be in the room because it's so freaking epic. But I've joined him this year because we've really wanted to grow the Mastermind a little bit more. So we want to make it a little bit bigger. We want to get some more diverse businesses in there, which absolutely is happening and has happened over the past couple years. And him and I just really, really love working together when we figure out that dynamic. And I think with the Mastermind, we've really figured it out. We both know our zones of genius. We know our lanes. Chris is really all about the strategy and I am all about the creative. In between our two networks, we get some of the most incredible experts in that room to help you. And we also attract really amazing people. I'm not going to lie. We have worked so hard on just our programs, who we are, the integrity of the programs, how we show up. I feel really amazing about. If anybody ever has questions about any of our programs, asking any and all clients why it was a fit or even why it wasn't a fit, if it wasn't for some reason, because we truly stand by our events. We know that they work. We know that they transform. We have done this work ourselves for years and years and years. That's why we know it works, is because we have put ourselves in so many masterminds, it's not. Not even funny. And we know what has worked, we know what hasn't. We know that there's all different types of people that different things work for. So we try to get a really, you know, just a different range of things that are going to work in your business. We ask you to try different things on, to really experience, you know, what is going to work for you, to scale. So I'm really excited about doing the Mastermind with him this year. But something that I'm working on right now is really focusing on removing the resistance around challenging things. And some of the ways that I'm remembering this is that, you know, when we find challenges or when we come across challenges, the more that we can take the resistance out of the thing, the less pain we're actually going to experience during the day, day or in our lives, period. Like, pain is inevitable, but struggle is a choice. Like, there are always going to be hard things, but how you perceive them, how you approach them, how you feel and how you think about them or dwell on them is how you're going to actually perceive your whole life. And I'm also remembering that chosen challenge when it's things that have reward on the other side, like doing hard things, like going to the gym, like sending that challenging email, like choosing to go bigger in your business, like choosing to go into that mastermind that really, really challenges you and makes you feel totally uncomfortable and makes you question your worthiness. These are all positive challenges that are really going to grow your brain, and you're rewiring your brain to actually get dopamine when you start to find and seek those challenges. So even though I have a lot of resistance around hard things, still there is a sense of. Not even a sense. There is massive dopam I have now rewired with challenges. That's why, you know, sometimes when you see people who you're like, oh, my God, that they're doing all these triathlons and their whole life is hard, like, don't get it wrong. They're sick and twisted because they've rewired their brain to get, like, high off that, to get hits off that. Can you imagine if you spent all of this year rewiring your brain to get hits and dopamine off of the hard stuff? Your life will look completely different. So even when I'm going to the gym now, I'm like, yes, this is what makes my life better. Yes, this is what successful people do. Yes. This feeling right here is what keeps me out of depression and anxiety. Like, I am the queen of rewiring. And it's only gonna get crazier. It's only gonna get better, you guys.
