Lori Harder explains why calling your audience overwhelmed or exhausted attracts indecisive customers. Use empowering language instead, like action takers, to draw buyers ready to invest and help them step into the identity they need.
If you have people in your audience right now that are, like, ghosting you or they're not making decisions, get really clear on your content and quit calling them things that make them feel more unorganized. So quit using the words like overwhelmed, exhausted, anxious, chaotic, because you know what you're doing. You're calling in anxious, chaotic, overwhelmed people, and those type of people aren't making decisions quick.
I've actually never thought of that. We hear a lot to use the language that your audience is using. You're trying to switch your audience out. Then if you're like, okay, I don't want this type of customer anymore, even if my audience is telling me that.
I give my audience an identity, I call them action takers, people who are ready to make the next move. You don't have to ask permission for anybody. You know what you want. So I'm using this type of language in my content all the time because what I want to do is give them the identity of where they want to go, but I'm also giving the identity of who I want them to be in order to make an investment.
