Taylor Swift wearing a brand's jersey, boots, and necklace created buzz, but it didn't drive lasting growth. A single celebrity moment feels like a breakthrough, yet success actually comes from consistent work, not one big break.
What are some of the tipping points that you feel like really propelled the business? The one thing I would say is maybe like Taylor Swift, she had worn his jersey only with thigh high boots and this big necklace of ours. That was a pretty big moment and it got some. But nothing lasts. I don't think there's ever one big moment that like makes a brand.
I feel like that's so empowering to know and I've heard that from so many people because I think they see like, oh, well, here's why they got successful. I'm like, not really. Because even though they got that moment, it's not sustainable.
