A brief transcript excerpt of a conversation between an interviewer (SPEAKER B) and Lisa Bilyeu discussing core beliefs required to "go all in." The exchange focuses on shifting one’s mindset—replacing limiting thoughts—and asks for a description of what "all in" looks like.
What was one of the main beliefs.
That you had to.
Get over in.
Your head that you had to replace.
In order to go all in? And then I want to know what all in looks like.
Going all in is buying fully into it, even with the way you speak about it. Right. I still remember one of the first meetings that we've had. My husband comes in and he sits down and he's like, listen, I'm very interested to hear your pitch. But before you start the pitch, I'm just letting you know, my wife is the next Oprah. I'm just letting you know. And those words, like, I wanted to die. The conviction that he's said it in, it took me years to feel comfortable to hear him say it, let alone me starting to say it. I started saying it. Not the Oprah part, but I started saying it only a couple of years ago. I'm in this business for nine years now. It's a process, but that's all in. And honestly, once you have that conviction, you make very different choices than when you say, like, yeah, maybe it's going to work, maybe not. There is no other way.
