YouTube monologue by Lori Harder (uploaded May 26, 2025) that reframes perceived failures as iterative steps toward success. The speaker argues that setbacks are temporary ‘blips’ on a longer timeline and emphasizes continuous motion and experimentation rather than hesitation after setbacks.

Somebody asked me a little while ago, can you tell me about one of your biggest failures? And I was like, where have I failed? If you're looking at a blip in time, of course you failed. If you're looking at a long enough timeline, each one of those failures turned into something else. They're not really failures. I literally got asked this the other day, and I felt kind of like a little bit of an asshole, because I was like, well, I tried a lot of things that didn't work, but I didn't fail. But then when you take a step back and I'm like, why do I think that way? Because I. I'm not hesitating after there's a failure. You're just in motion. You're moving. You're like, this happened. It didn't work out. Got it. Let me try something else. Let me try something else. That's how all these series of things are in our life. And that's why people like you and I, when we look at it, we're like, we. We didn't really fail. We just went on to the next thing, or we tried it a different way.
