Hi, it's Maximus Mark, and today I wanted to make a video about supplementation. Okay, so I mean, I appreciate the allure of supplements, that, you know, there's something outside of us that's, you know, going to do the hard work for us, it's going to do it for long enough, and it's going to persevere above all else, you know. I really get that and I appreciate it, but at the end of the day, you know, the buck stops with you. Okay, so this video is on the very best 3 supplements that you'll ever need. Okay, and just to level with you guys, they're not actually supplements, but, and I will say before I go any further, I'm a huge advocate of supplements. You know, I wrote 2 books on the topic, so, you know, and I take a lot of supplements each day. So don't take this the wrong way that supplements are bad. It's just that I think people start, need to start looking inside themselves for the results instead of to, you know, the next latest fad supplement that, you know, is just a lot of marketing hype. So the first supplement that we have for today is hard work. Now, why do I say that? Because a lot of people, as I said, you know, at the start of this video, they want someone to do the results for them. Well, it's never going to happen. I want everyone kind of in YouTube land to accept that you're going to need to work hard. Regardless of what supplements you're taking, what training program you're on, accept that hard work is a huge part of your results. And, you know, if hard work could be bottled, it'd be the best-selling supplement in the world. There is no substitute for your own hard work, okay? Then we have persistence. Now, a lot of people give up just before they're about to achieve their goals when, you know, all they needed to do was persevere. Now, what I also mean by perseverance is, you know, some people, you know, they start out in their training journey and maybe they don't have the best training program, and then all of a sudden they go, you know what, training doesn't work, I'm just gonna quit. Well, you know, it's not that it doesn't work, it's maybe that the program that you got wasn't the program that yielded the results you want, or maybe the diet that you were on, you know, let's say someone who says, "I'm going to fix up my health," and they go on a vegetarian diet. Well, of course it's not going to get you the results you want. It's not going to help you build muscle or do anything, but vegetarianism is probably a topic for another day. But the point is that you need to constantly readjust your approach until you do get the results that you're after. Persevere. As I always say, perseverance is to man what carbon is to steel. And again, You can't find this in the store. It has to come within you. And the last one is time. Okay? Simply, you know, you can have the best training program in the world. You can have the best diet that's, you know, metabolically perfect for you, the best supplement program, all those things. But if you only do it for a day or 2 days and then revert back to your habits and then do it for another day or 2 days and revert back to your habits, you're not going to achieve the kind of results that, you know, you're capable of. If you just stuck it out for that period of time and implemented those changes as a lifestyle change. So time is super important. And again, you can't get that from any store. You can't get that from anyone. These things have to come from within you. So making sure that number 1, you work hard at your goals. Number 2, you persevere and you try different approaches. And if something's not working, you don't give up and you just try a different approach and it will happen, whether that's calling up a new trainer or buying a new supplement or trying a new diet or getting a new training program, joining a new gym, getting a training mentor, persevere. Find different options, okay? And the last one is do it for long enough. You know, people go, how do I get big? Well, my answer is always eat wholesome natural foods, train hard, and do it for long enough. And you know, if you apply that formula for, I guess, any area of life, you know, the world is yours. So I look forward to seeing you in my next video. Until then, train hard, eat healthy, and supplement smart.
