Mark Ottobre shows how to do a straight arm pulldown with a straight bar and slightly wide grip. Lean forward enough to keep your arms straight while pulling the bar down, and never let the weight stack fully rest or you'll lose tension on your lats.

This is a straight arm pulldown. So the first thing you're gonna need is a straight bar. This is my preference when to do it. And I like to go a little bit wide with it as well. I don't like a narrow grip. That way I can better engage the lat. So when we're doing this, what we want to do is we want to get into a full stretch. So we'll probably just need to play with it a little bit because if you're too upright, you're not gonna be able to do it. So you're bending into it. Then as you do it, keeping your arms straight and you're pulling everything in. So your lats are working as well as serratus anterior, these things both should be working at the same time. So you want to bring it in as close to your body as possible. So there's going to be a little bit of movement because you're going to dance with the weight stack. Again, if I just don't let it hang all the way, I'm going to touch the weight stack, or I'm not going to be able to get the lever. See how I've let, let tension go if I'm up too tall, whereas here I've still got tension in it. So you want to bend into it a little more and down. This is your straight arm pulldown.
