Mark Ottobre shows how to do band bicep curls for blood flow and recovery, not strength. Anchor the band low, grip it wide enough to rotate your wrists, and squeeze hard at the top. Step back or grab lower on the band to adjust how hard it feels.

This is a band bicep curl. So what you're gonna need is something low, hook the band through like so, make a loop with it. Then you're gonna grab the band, I like reasonably wide so I can really turn my wrists and get a better pump. Again, this isn't about building muscle right now, this is about restorative work, getting a nice pump for your biceps, getting some blood flow into the elbow joints. And when you do it, I like to really squeeze all the way up. Now if that's too easy, you can always take a step back. Squeeze, and if you want a bit more resistance, grab a bit further down on the band and squeeze. And use your wrists to rotate, 'cause if you're just here, you're not gonna feel it as much, whereas if you come wide, you're gonna get some resistance there and really feel it through your arms. So this is your band bicep curl, really great just to get some blood flow into the arms.
