A personal trainer shares leg workout cues: press the back of your knees into the machine for stability, keep your body position locked even when tired, and aim for controlled failure instead of just finishing the rep.

So we talk about stability. Stability also applies to all your isolation exercises. So that's what I mean, like if I had more time to spend with her, like if I trained her and you saw, like say if I trained her for like a couple of weeks and that, I'd get her to do this and she would know, lock into the machine, right? Do not move. Push your, the back of your knees against the machine. As you push down, pull the back of knees against the machine. Use the machine to anchor yourself and make yourself more stable. So when you get to that like fatigue point, you don't break your body position. I'm not expecting you to be able to do the rep. The goal isn't actually to do the rep at all. The goal is to fail.
