So we are driving over to the new enterprise. I just got back from Japan yesterday, an amazing trip, and my cousin-in-law has been working very, very hard behind the scenes for the last 2-3 weeks since I've been away to get everything complete. So it's been 3 and a half years of struggle, grind, headaches to get to this point. Now it's kind of surreal because it has been a long, long time coming, and if all goes to plan, we're probably 2 weeks away.
Wow, look here.
Look at this. Getting our signage up. It looks pretty good.
Afternoon, sir.
Afternoon. Wow, look at all this.
Look at this.
Hello, how you going? I didn't really look at the front. I got to look at the front again. Wow, look at the wall. Nice render. Oh, the lights.
Power, power. Just simple things, isn't it? Yeah, there's lights. Yeah, look at us out of it.
Hey James, have you seen the assessment room with the flooring? Oh nice. Yeah, yeah, mate.
I've seen the lighting and stuff though.
Oh yes.
Which is cool.
Check my before photo.
It definitely is a before photo since you come back from Japan.
Yeah. So meet my cousin. This is Vinny.
Pleased to meet you.
He's the one responsible for finishing and making this come alive. What's left, Vinny?
Stone for the kitchen's left. Just a little bit of tidy-ups, finish security off, clean up, and signage really. Office or bathroom? I'll go office.
I think the bathroom's going to blow my brain out. These are good. Yeah. What's these do?
That's just outputs.
Oh, okay. I thought that was— oh, I mean, yeah, so it's 4 because there's 2 USBs.
USBs.
Fantastic. Perfect setup for podcast. Yeah, it's just whenever we want. Oh, the aircon's on too.
I haven't tested that one yet. It's got aircon, it's got lights, it's got heater.
We're gonna do Wolfpack calls in there. Yeah, not that we want you at the gym more, but well, you're gonna have to. It's gonna happen. So what did you do when I was away?
What I did when you were away? We did all the skirting boards along the sides, the black between there and the brickwork. We did the mats. We finished off the bathrooms, put all the pigeonholes in. Pigeonholes for the guys, for the trainers.
These? Yes.
The lighting in here. All the bathroom fit-off. Shower screens. Pretty much a lot.
Fuck everything.
I wanted to try and get as much done as possible before you came back.
Oh, what's in here? Wow, geez, people are gonna love having a shower in here.
I might not get showered at home anymore, I might just come to work.
Oh, this is sick. Yeah, they're cool, eh? Oh, you saw this? Yeah, I seen that the other day.
It just wasn't fitted up. Don't come and don't tell Mikey. Yeah, I didn't, I didn't say anything.
Oh, that's cool, no more paper towels.
Thank fuck for that.
Just need some Tokyo or some You know the funny thing?
I don't think people realize the extent you've gone. No, that's why I don't want people driving past looking in the window. Oh, it's not just like a gym.
No, this is— well, the thing is, everything has been thought out, but thought out in a way of like, what do we need? Yeah, so it's completely—
it's catered to you.
Yeah, and it's not like we made it up on the fly, as in like, oh, this is what we think we need. It's 10 years of— no, we know, we know what people need, we know what we need. 10 years of experience has gone into deciding. Yeah, people are probably just expecting it to be like any other—
yeah, reasonable gym, and then they're going to come in and be like, whoa.
