In this video, I'm going to be showing you the best shoulder exercise that you're not doing, breaking down the 4 main points to perfecting it. Now, this exercise comes with many names. It's a Tally Raise, a Poliquin Raise, named after Charles Poliquin, a Sarsev Raise, named after Milos Sarsev, and also my favorite, the way I like to call it, it's an L Raise to extend. First thing is he is sitting up nice and tall. Now we're going to do a hammer curl, but only to 90 degrees. So come up There, that is perfect. Now, this is point number 1. Now, it is very, very important we do not come up too high. So if you come up too high, it's going to mess with the exercise. So we want to be at 90 degrees. Now, we want to abduct our arms nice and high. You can see that, that is point number 2. Now, in this position, up nice and tall for me, extend your arms out, extend your arms out nice and wide. Now, you're going to come down slowly. Now that is how you do a perfect tally raise. Up 90 degrees, up, abduct nice and wide, extend your arms, lower slowly.
