In this solo video, Maximus Mark argues that eliminating refined sugar is the top dietary recommendation for better health. For those who need a sweetener in tea or coffee, he promotes stevia as a natural, highly potent alternative—200‑300 times sweeter than sugar—requiring only a tiny pinch (about 1/10 of a teaspoon). He warns against artificial sweeteners such as aspartame, sucralose (Splenda), and sugar‑free sodas, labeling them potentially neurotoxic and unsafe despite FDA approval. Mark advises avoiding these unknown or risky substances, opting instead for stevia, possibly combined with cinnamon, and recommends using only raw milk if milk is needed. He concludes with a motivational sign‑off encouraging viewers to cut sugar, eat well, train hard, and supplement smart.

Hi, it's Maximus Mark, and in today's video I'm going to be talking about a substitute for sugar. Now, sugar is one of those things, if you ask me what's the number one piece of advice, what's the first thing you could do today to get the body that you want, you know what I'll say? I'll say cut out the sugar, because refined sugar has no part in your diet. But if you're one of those people who absolutely need something in their tea or coffee, you know, why not try stevia? Now, some people say stevia, some people say stevia. Stevia, look, it doesn't matter how you pronounce it. Grab yourself some of this if you're one of those people and add that instead to your tea or coffee. Now, you would literally use less than a quarter of a teaspoon. Actually, I'd even use less than that, so maybe 1/10 of a teaspoon and add that to your sugar or coffee. Reason being, it is quite strong. It's 200 to 300 times sweeter than sugar. It is completely natural. You don't want to use these things like, I hear other trainers and coaches and nutritionists say it all the time, you know, have things like Pepsi Max or Coke Zero or sugar-free jelly. Well, no, because they're actually sweetened with probably things that are actually a lot worse and for some people actually neurotoxic. Things like aspartame and sucrose and Splenda, they are not healthy foods despite the fact that they've been approved by the FDA. Really means nothing in my book because, you know, if you do look into the research and you do look at some of the world's best scientists, they are saying that it is potentially quite a danger. So I would avoid them. And even if it's one of those things where people don't know yet, I would avoid it under the premise that you don't know and you are actually playing, taking a gamble with that. So, you know, stevia is all natural. You add that to your tea or sugar. That's what I advise my clients. If you don't like the, you know, stevia does have a slightly different taste to normal sugar, but it is still quite sweet. And you will adjust. So, get off the sugar today. If you need a replacement, try stevia. Also, stevia with cinnamon in your coffee might work well as well. And obviously, no milk unless it's raw milk. So, till next time folks, eat well, train hard, and supplement smart.
