Hi, it's Maximus Mark, and today I have a very important question. Why the hell is everyone so scared of butter? No, seriously. Clients come and see me and, you know, the first thing I say, "Do you cook with butter?" And people go, "No, no, no, no, no, no, no," like it's a bad thing. I'm like, "Dude, why not?" And people look at me puzzledly all the time, like, "You mean I can cook with butter?" Like I'm a freak or something for even talking about butter. Let's get this clear, alright, so everyone knows from now on. You come and see me. Butter is a superfood. It's packed full of the fat-soluble vitamins A, D, and K. Margarine is a bastardized scientific project that went horribly wrong. I mean, let's look at margarine, for example. It's fortified to, you know, the high heavens. I mean, it's every single era, every single nutritional trend, margarine is changed, okay? It's a very easy product for science to manipulate. So say for example, in the '80s when everyone was scared of cholesterol, what did they do? They took the cholesterol out of margarine and said, you know, it's low in cholesterol, it's great for you. Now today, you know, the vitamin D and the omega-3 wave of popularity is coming. So what do they do? They add and fortify omega-3 and vitamin D in it to say it's a great food. Well, you know, you can polish a turd, but at the end of the day, it's still going to be a turd. So that's what margarine is in a sense to me. Some people say that if they didn't color it, it would be black. What I've actually heard is if they didn't color it, it would be this really disgusting off-white color. Margarine basically doesn't go off. So it's a scientific project. It's not a wholesome natural food. Butter, on the other hand, is a wholesome natural food packed full of nutrition that has been around for centuries. People who are scared of the cholesterol in butter, I mean, it is known today that there's 4 different types of cholesterol. HDL, but there's two different types of HDL. It's not only LDL, there's two different types of LDL. So, I mean, people who are scared of cholesterol, you know, I'm not going to get into cholesterol in this video, but you know, there's more to the story than just total cholesterol. Needless to say, it's not, definitely not the only factor for, you know, heart disease and cancers and all these types of things that, you know, the medical community would love you to believe. And you know, that might piss a lot of people off, but it's true. Okay. If you want more information on that, go onto cholesterol skeptics.com and have a read of that. And also grab Gary Taubes' book, Good Calories, Bad Calories, 'cause he has all the research in there. But I digress. The point of this video is don't be scared of butter. But I will say one caveat with butter. If you are going to buy butter, make sure you buy organic because otherwise it's full of pesticides because unfortunately butter is one of those products that is very heavily sprayed with, you know, phytoestrogens and pesticides. So grab some butter today. Throw out the margarine, throw out the canola oil, throw out the sunflower oil, get rid of those terrible vegetable oils and start using wholesome natural foods. Till then guys, train hard, supplement smart and eat well.
