Hi, it's Maximalist Mark, and today I'm going to talk about a health imposter. Now, the health imposter might be one that you're not expecting, but it's nuts. I mean, you know, that's— hang on, let me back up for one second. That's not entirely true. Some nuts, you know, raw organic nuts are absolutely fantastic, and I think they should be included in your diet, provided that you're not allergic and that you don't overeat them. However, nuts that come in a container like this that have been salted and then sprayed with canola oil or sunflower oil, like in this case, should absolutely be avoided. You don't need to add excess salt to your food, and you definitely don't want to have vegetable oils and canola oil and rapeseed oil and sunflower oil in your food. A lot of these crops have been genetically modified. Now, I'm definitely against genetically modified foods because they do have, and there's many research and much studies that have suggested there are definitely harmful side effects of those foods because simply our genes don't know how to interact with them. Now I know the FDA says it's safe and all whatever, but let's face it, they've been paid out by companies like Monsanto to say those type of things and to turn a blind eye. I mean, they're doing it all the time with the pharmaceutical companies. So let's not kid ourselves. They don't care about our health. Avoid vegetable oils because they're not good for you. Don't salt your foods. And if you're going to have nuts, make sure you buy raw organic nuts. That's the best way to have them. And you know, to have only small portions of your nuts. You don't need to be eating, you know, huge bags of nuts, and if you do find yourself overeating them, I've got a great tip for you. Buy them in a shell. Because if you're buying them in a shell, you can't just grab a handful and, you know, gobble them down. You're going to have to, you know, crack them to get the goodness out. So, that's it for today. Until next video, train hard, eat well, and supplement smart.
