Fundamentally, a self-reflection tool changes behaviors. And why does it change behaviors? Well, it changes behaviors almost immediately without you actually having to say anything about what they eat. Why is it? Because you're getting them to log what they do. They become aware. That, that's why it changes behaviors, is when they eat, they have to write down something. So, you know, I ate chocolate and I had a propensity to eat more chocolate, or I ate a jelly bean and then I end up eating a whole bag, or I ate a Tim Tam because it was there and I ate the whole tray. Whatever it is, start getting them to note these things and they start to become aware. Because as I'll tell A problem well stated is a problem half solved.
