I wasn't an obvious hire for British Vogue. I was the only person in the whole entire editorial team that I knew of that had been to state school.
And also, I'm a teen mum.
I always felt like I was on the back foot. But there was a knowing. But there was a knowing. There was a real knowing of like, I'm going to do that, I'm going to make that happen.
It's so easy to just fall into a pattern of just trying to do what everyone else is doing, and sometimes you've just got to be different, haven't you?
Yeah, I always, always had I had lots and lots of ideas all the time for businesses, but I would always stop short of ever executing on it or moving it into real life. 3 of them then were Like, we want to invest.
All I was thinking watching this was, I'm just so useless. Why can't I see anything through? What is wrong with you, Kelly?
Why are you so pathetic? Where do you go from there?
Something flipped in me. Something really, really shifted. I want to start a business, and I'm going to, but I need— I knew I needed help. Some higher force definitely pulled me. Wow. This is where Matt comes in.
