We Were Invited to Sit Front Row At A Dr Joe Dispenza Retreat — Here's What Happened

Matt and Corisande attended Dr. Joe Dispenza's retreat in Basel with 8,500 people and describe their breakthroughs: Matt saw reality as binary code in a holographic field, Corisande realized she wasn't fully plugged in to her own life. They explore how habits block conscious choice and what it means to master presence.
Chapters
As soon as you start looking at quantum mechanics and manifestation, Dr. Joe Dispenza, just, he's there, he pops up and it's gone in a flash. But 5 years ago when we'd quit our jobs and we had nothing, we were watching Joe on podcasts. To be there right in his presence was sort of everything really.
Yeah, I wasn't really prepared for the energy that he brings to a room and I realized it was, it was an avoidance of facing the work, not wanting to sit with my thoughts. for an hour.
Wow.
In meditation.
Why?
I don't think I wanted to face the fact that I can't be everything and I've got to be clear and intentional with what I'm doing.
I think that is so powerful and so true. And we all have intentions to manifest. And I always say this, but the real intention is to master presence, or I should say master being more in the unknown in a world that's designed to pull us from that.
I had some profound experiences, like the ability to self-observe to a point where I was like really pulling my body back.
You know, I've never forced you to read any of Joe's books or any other book, but something's changed in you since that.
My plug was, it was in, it was resting in the socket, but it wasn't fully pushed in. And Joe slammed it back in and switched it back on.
If you're not making space in your routine, in your life for the unknown, Then how do you expect the unknown to communicate with you? And how do you expect synchronicity in the known?
This is why doing this work, going to these events, going to in-person things, meeting people plugs you back in.
You know, I've been studying or listening to Jo's work for 7 years, but for me, there's one thing that happened to me in a meditation that I'm really excited to share.
Hey everyone, welcome back to Beyond, and we're going to do a solo episode today, just the two of us. We're fresh back from a Joe Dispenza retreat, and we have also been to Switzerland. We've got a lot to dive into.
We have indeed. Yeah, everyone, thank you for your support so far. Um, we've had some amazing conversations and we're loving the podcast, but what we love most is your support. And please Can you do us a favour? If there's a particular guest or conversation that you'd love us to have, would you just drop it in the comments here, wherever you're watching it, or send us a DM or a, you know, a message on Instagram? We really want these conversations to help you in the best possible way. So, thank you. And just one last thing, a small favour that of course helps us so much is if you could just hit the subscribe button, if you are watching on YouTube, because that itself just helps us reach more people beyond our following. And just make sure that these conversations go to the people that need it most. But like Corisande said, we're back fresh from Switzerland. So we're going to take you through that. And then we're going to just share a few of the things and epiphanies and breakthroughs that are on our minds. So Corisande, where do we start?
Well, I think we start with, for anyone that doesn't know, Matt and I run our European events with an amazing company. And they also host Joe Dispenza's European events, which is a bit of a pinch-me moment. Because if I think, if we were to have talked about running events, our— whenever you and I used to say, how would we want it to look like? Because we very much get clear on that vision, don't we?
Yes.
How we imagine it and like the feeling and yours, the teaching, and me, the event and the structure. It was like, well, I'm sorry, but if you're trying to sell an event to anyone, just go head to Joe Dispenza's Instagram and just go—
Look at how he does it.
Yeah, I mean, particularly, I think there was a recent video on his Instagram. I think it was probably put out maybe a year ago. And it was the Basel.
I know a few people already know this story. But before we share what we experienced at Dr. Joe Dispenza's event, which was truly incredible. You know, the reason this was so big is, of course, the work that we do now. You know, for anyone that's fresh to our channel or hearing this for the first time, you know, we want to spread this message, not just on podcasts or social media. I really feel like with everything that's going on in the world, especially with AI, there's this real human need. Like, I felt this in my bones a few years ago where I was like, we really need to get out there and actually meet people, right? And we knew that logistically, we have a community globally. Where do you even begin when it comes to, you know, hosting events in Europe? And I just said to you, didn't I? Yeah. I had this manifestation to partner with an events company that can help us. And what Cora-san was just saying there, just over a year ago, we both saw Dr. Joe Dispenza showing this sort of promo video of him in Basel, and we were like, wow. And then we saw an advert pop up, or I saw an advert pop up on Facebook, I think it was, and I noticed that there was a company, Partnering company. Yeah. The partnering company promoting Joe's event. And I said to you in real time, I'm just going to follow this intuition, headed straight over to Instagram, typed in the company called Unity, and they'd already actually reached out to me. And, you know, a lot of people already know this story, but long story short, I've ended up partnering with them. And as much as they host Joe in Europe, they now— we're so grateful to be able to say that they host us. So We'll dive into it. They asked me and Corisande if we wanted to come out to Switzerland for Jodie Spencer's Progressive Retreat, which happened here in September. Not sure when everyone will be listening to this back, but we're fresh back. Talk us— talk everyone through that, Corisande.
Well, it was a really interesting situation because I, I don't know about you, but my— obviously for us it was research because we'd obviously been asked by Unity and it was very much a Yeah. We've got Barcelona coming up, which is, you know, over 500 people attending, but still, it was like, this is the level that we're heading. So, we need to know how it's done. So, you, the teachings, me, like, the team that's needed on our side, and also the level of execution, how it's done, what's happening behind the scenes. So, I was— you were going probably from teaching and how he holds himself on stage. Me, from the point of view of like, are there any tips that I can take here, any learning that I can have? But I was more watching the back end. So unlike a lot of— I would say 99% of people that were there were there specifically to do some form of work on themselves. Maybe they were being introduced to Joe for the first time. There were a lot of people that were brought by friends, family, people that were there for specific reasons, maybe health or looking to change in some way. So, it was very surreal because I was going with a kind of preconceived imagination of what it was going to be like for me in the experience.
Yeah.
I wasn't really prepared for how his presence and also just the energy that he brings to a room, whether that's the American in him, and I will say Americans know how to do it really well. They know how to put on a really great event, but they also just, he, I think it's more his energy and the energy he brings into the room. And basically, like, I don't know whether— I don't think you'd really prepared me for the fact that you probably know because you've obviously heard a lot and know a lot of people that have been to Joe's events. But we're sat there on the front row, like literally, like, you know, he stands and does all his talking like there. So it's like—
People trying to imagine this, just Google or go on to YouTube, Progressive Retreat Basel. This is an arena, 8,500 people. and Unity had reserved us seats at the front row. But yeah, Joe gets off the stage as part of his presence and he walks in between the audiences. And I mean, he was literally in front of us. And I will just say this, this was like, we love Joe. Like, I genuinely love him. I think his work is truly incredible. And when I first started this work, my first ever spiritual awakening in 2019, I started to learn more of the quantum aspect and You know, as soon as you start looking at quantum mechanics and manifestation, Dr. Joe Dispenza, just, he's there, he pops up. And, you know, this is a surreal moment for me and Coruscant because even though it wasn't that long ago, like 5 years ago, it's gone in a flash. But 5 years ago when we had, when we'd quit our jobs and we had nothing and we were watching Joe on podcasts, to be there right in his presence Was sort of everything, really.
Yeah.
Wasn't it?
Yeah. And like, just to feel the energy in the room was like nothing I've ever felt because you only really have that amount of people going to either, let's say you're seeing a comedian.
Yeah.
You're going to watch a show, you're going to see someone perform in concert. Like, it's pretty amazing to think he can draw that many people, obviously with the help of Unity, but can draw that many people to an event. So, uh, for any context, for any, like, anyone listening who thinks that, like, we somehow managed to do it all, we don't. I don't manage to do it all as a mum, just so everyone knows. I do have help. So whenever we travel, like, there is someone there with us, and my mum was— had come along. She was taking care of Humphrey. There's no one in this world that I would trust apart from you and I more with him. He just adores her and I can fully switch off. So we were in a very fortunate position that that was the case. But there was kind of, uh, we— it was, it was that first day, half day on the Friday.
Monday night, 7 till 9. Yeah, we're gonna talk you through like what we experienced and what the event is. But yeah, like Corisande said, a lot of people ask us how we do this, and we're fortunate enough to be able to travel with Humphrey wherever we go, and fortunate enough that my mother-in-law, your mum, wants to be involved. And, you know, she, she, we're blessed that she looks after Humphrey whilst we're at these events. And actually there were a few kids at Jo's event. I think Humphrey's probably not far off being able to, to go and do something like that.
No.
But, you know, he, he was in Basel whilst this was going on. So yeah, it starts at 7 PM, doesn't it? And I think the one thing I will just say, because, you know, for any speakers out there, They'll know what I mean. I know what it takes energetically to do one full day where there's, you know, if I look at Stockholm or I look at, you know, Bucharest, 300 people in a room, one full day of teaching, it is energetically like exhausting at the end because you're giving so much. By the time we're here on this Monday night, Joe has just completed back to back, literally like the night before, he's just wrapped up another progressive retreat in that same venue with another 8,000 1,000 people. So he's done 2 and a half days, short break, and then he's going again. And bearing in mind he's in his 60s, I mean, he's a testimonial to the work. I mean, it's like, wow. Like, for me, I was like, wow, wow. If I, if I at 60, whatever he is, 4, I think, have that energy, like, and I don't think people necessarily think that maybe because I, and I would not, but I only do because I'm sort of like doing a small version of what he's doing. To have that many people, like, it's just incredible. So yeah, I mean, it was like a show, wasn't it?
Yeah. And it starts out like, for anyone that's been to Joe's event, like, it's just the music's incredible and the energy. But like, I had a bit of a moment when he like started doing like, he did one of his meditations and I was like, had a bit of a moment. So I'm like, oh my God, he's doing this meditation live. And like, it was a meditation, one of my favourite meditations at the moment, actually. And, you know, just to feel him, to see his work, to watch his team, how it's put together, it showed me what we've got to do, what we're missing, all of these things. But really interestingly, I had a really profound experience while I was there because Joe— so I think that there's a real truth in the fact that you can hear the same information over and over again. Oh yeah.
Yeah.
But it lands with you in a certain way when it's meant to. And I think that I was at a stage, if I was to think about, if I was to think about, if I was to think about anything that I was struggling with going to that event, or anything that if someone had handed me a microphone and said, is there anything you're hoping to take away from this? I would have said that I am just really struggling to push through this limitation of like, How do I be all the things?
Yes.
And how do I be all the things well? And that's like support to you, a mum, run a business, have this independence, go after my dreams, all it— like, how do I do all of this? And in my head, I was like, you know, I very often like just battle in the moment and assess the things I need to assess in the moment. And I'd, in my head, I was like, I'll do the half day.
Yeah, yeah.
Genuinely, I was one of these like people that they talk— he talks about going to the event where they're like, I'll escape by the second day. So I was like, I'll do the half day, and then the following day I've got my plan. I don't really want to have to do the tuning into new potentials meditations. He's probably going to do that at some point. I don't know why I didn't want to do that, interestingly enough, and I think that's because it meant me having to really, really double down and be clear Which I don't think my body wanted to do because it likes—it's been enjoying floating around in nothingness and just bouncing from one thing to the next. So I left at twelve, and I—and I—and you know what? I gave the excuse that I—I didn't think it was an excuse. Like it wasn't intentional, but I gave the excuse that I need to be there with Humphrey. But I think if I was to be really—I had to face that. Just from one thing, from another, from his teachings and things he shared, I had to face that during those few days. And I realized it was, it was an avoidance of, of facing the work. It was a, it was a, a not wanting to sit with my thoughts for an hour.
Wow.
In meditation.
Why?
Because I don't think I wanted to face them. I don't think I wanted to face the fact that I can't be everything, and I've got to be clear and intentional with what I'm doing, and that I know this work through and through. It's got me here to where I am today, and it's time to go again in a different way now. And I wrote down, I was so frustrated because the information that he was saying was just not going in. It wasn't going in. On the first day? First day, wasn't going in. Like genuinely, there was a point where she's like, right, can you turn to your partner and explain? I was dreading the person to the left of me who I didn't know turning and trying to involve me in conversation in fear of like, I don't know what he's just said. And like, just so anyone, for any context here, I used to have this at school where I wasn't, like I didn't enjoy school. I wasn't academic naturally. And I used to really struggle with anything that wasn't like creative and like either writing or expressing myself. I'd really struggle. So, like maths, for example, just tapped me out altogether. And someone would explain something and it would just completely bypass, like, my— like, it would completely go over my head, not because I wasn't able to understand it, but because I needed to— I need to really soak it in in a different way. I need sometimes space to like really absorb what someone's just said. So, uh, I decided to like take myself off for that second half. And it's really weird because half of me was loving spending time with Humphrey and being in Basel and enjoying like going away.
Breakdance, yeah.
But then the other half of me was like, I need to be at that event. Like, what are you doing? Like, my actual mind was like, Corisande, like, what are you doing here? Like, your body's controlling the show here. Like, you need to be down there.
So it was an avoidance of the work and yourself and the meditations?
Yeah, like just needing to tap up, like I allowed my body to run away. Like there's a point at which Joe always talks about, always talks about, you know, controlling your body almost like a dog. And, you know, halfway through meditation, going, okay, like you need the toilet now, you need to get up. You're gonna like, you know, he jokes about all these things. And it was literally me needing to get my body and go sit down and listen to the work, 'cause you need to hear it. And yeah, whereas I look across at you and you're like making notes, like absorbing all the information like a sponge.
Yeah, all in. Yeah, I was making loads of notes and I've actually just got on my phone here. I think the one thing that was true for me, and I'd love us to both compare and share what our own breakthroughs were, because I know a lot of people have been asking, and there's one thing that happened to me in a meditation that I'm really excited to share. But for me, I've been studying or listening to Joe's work for 7 years. He's up there as one of the people that I regularly listen to.
Yeah.
listened to, reread his books. I know his work inside out. I've even listened to Progressive Retreat several times online, you know, but it was this, and I'm there making notes on the stuff that I've heard perhaps hundreds and hundreds of times. And it's this famous saying, no man ever steps in the same river twice, for it's not the same river and he's not the same man.
Oh, yes.
No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it's not the same river and he's not the same man. And, you know, the amount of times I've heard Joe reference the things he was referencing, and it was just landing and landing and landing because it's that reminder that we're permanently changing. And I think, you know, how I want everyone to reflect on— they might look at their bookshelf and go, I've read that book. I reread books all the time because you, you, it lands in different, like Becoming Supernatural, it has always been like a Bible to me.
Yeah.
And I'll pick it up and I'll be like, there you go. I've read that chapter on tuning into new potentials or blessing of the energy centers. I don't know how many times, but bang, that I've just learned that in a different way. And I'm doing that with all the teachers that I'm learning from. And I'm also doing it with the same work that I'm learning and getting and re-going back over my own notes and it's landing in different ways. But for me, of course, there was so much, and I've shared it, and I want to share a couple. But he said something so simple, and it was something around the lines of, if you're not making space in your routine, in your life for the unknown, then how do you expect the unknown to communicate with you? And how do you expect synchronicity in the known? And it was just like this obvious thing, but this massive light bulb moment that— As he was talking about how habitualized we all are and how much we're in programs, it's like, well, actually, Matt, in your schedule right now, how, how much time have you got for nothing? Like genuinely nothing. Like you've just blocked it out and labeled it nothing. And you can decide on the day what you want to do. Because I think we can all resonate when, when, when the synchronicity lands, when the breakthrough happens, when we get the good email or It tends to happen, in my experience anyway, and I'd love to know if anyone resonates with this. It tends to happen when I'm away from the desk.
Yeah.
Like the amount of times after our podcast, I'll check my phone after and there's an email, or when I wake up in the morning after my meditation, it's there. Or actually when we're out having lunch, you know, you'll be like, babe, have you seen that sort of Instagram message? Like if you're sat at the desk waiting for an opportunity or a phone call, it rarely happens. Like, If I take us back to when we were waiting for our offer to be accepted on our house, literally Cora Summer's the epitome of like being in the known. Like, why aren't they phoning? Why? Why are we not hearing anything? And that went on for about 36 hours until eventually you surrendered, went and did a TM session, and whilst doing TM and repeating your mantra in the unknown, the phone rang within those 20 minutes, and it was just that like massive realization that. In a world that's chaotic, we'll have intentions to manifest. And I always say this, but the real intention is to master presence, or I should say master being more in the unknown in a world that's designed to pull us from that and pull us into the known and pull us into the programming. It is for us to get into presence and actually build that relationship with the very intelligence that's communicating with us and be open though in that space for it to land.
Yeah.
So that was a huge thing for me. But I'd love to know for you before I share a few of the things, because I will just say this, and I love this about you, and I've never forced you to do the work, have I? No. I've never, never ever forced you. And I, you know, I was doing this work for about a year before Corisande even, even sort of off her own back said, I want to listen to that podcast with you. Or, you know, I've never forced you to read any of Joe's books or any other book, but something's changed in you.
Yeah, because I think, um, how I'd best describe it is that, um, and I don't just put this down to having Humphrey, I put this down to just life and the things that, the things that you go through. Um, I think if, how I imagine it is that when you've got, you know, when you've got like furniture packed in your living room, right? And you've got things plugged in everywhere. And just one of those things, whether it's, let's just say it's your television, it won't work. Like, it will partly work, but something's not quite right. Like, it won't switch on fully. And you're like, I can't, I don't understand. Like, and then you peek behind the cupboard and you realise the plug is only half in. It's not fully pushed in.
Oh, yeah.
I felt like my plug was, it was in, it was resting in the socket, but it wasn't fully pushed in. And Joe slammed it back in and switched it back on because he said something like, You know, and he's— no, there's no messing around. And I love that. I love the straight talking.
Me too.
And he— there was a point at which, like, he wasn't just talking to me, but it felt like what he said went into my soul. There was a point and he just said, you know, like, no one's gonna come and do it for you. Like, you're the only person that can do this. And I just thought to myself, what are you doing, Corisande? Like, why are you not like— and you know what, that, that that day I forced myself that, that to do every meditation and to give it my all. And I did. And I had some profound experiences, like some real, uh, like the ability to self-observe to a point where I was like really pulling my body back. And it really, you know, I was able to be really, really present. And I think the realization of like that, I think in life What's scary is that the chase never ends of anything. Like, you always— you think you'll arrive, you never do. And you have to kind of— you have to make peace with the fact that I think you spend a lot of time manifesting something, a lot of time going. You have to realize that, you know, there has to be a point at which you, you, you kind of become— you get— become at peace and allow the unknown to come in rather than trying to control every aspect. So I really, I really felt, you know, I felt very— a sudden, a huge wave of gratitude came over me during the meditation where I had my eye mask on and I felt people around me who were some, you know, 3 people who were on the front row further down. I could hear them having a conversation with each other saying, we've been here since 5 AM. You know, we just walked in like 20 minutes before Joe started to get our seats because we had named seats. And I had to, in that moment, really sit and say, there was a version of Corisande, you know, way, way back working in a corporate job, sitting and doing Joe's meditations in the morning before I got up to go to work. And I'm now here, cut to, you know, 11 years later.
Not 11 years. It's not even 7.
Yeah, 7 years later. And less than 10 years, I should say, less than 10 years later, and he's right in front of me. I've been invited to one of his events and we're just sat here enjoying it.
I think that just shows that, I think the real message that Corisande and I always want to portray is that we're not scientists, we're not doctors. Corisande and I are researchers. I'm a student really. Yeah, so am I. Yeah, of course. Through this work, I've developed my own formula and I get my own divinity and downloads from, from the field. Of course you can't not when you do this work. But, you know, we, we're not affiliated in any way with Joe. Like, we're talking from the heart. We're not in any way getting anything from sort of like talking about his events. And I think everyone should go, you know, come and see me, but go and see Joe, you know, really go, because it's powerful stuff.
I think it will force you— I think it forces you as well to, to go inward. And I think if you really allow yourself to go to it with no preconceived ideas, like, don't go there hoping for a mystical experience or like come away from it thinking, oh, I didn't have one of those life-changing meditations that people, some people talk about. You need to go with the openness that you will get something from it.
I absolutely 100% agree. And we'll talk about what we experienced in that room. There was one thing that I wanted to share. I put, you know, they have these slides that go in between breaks, the photos. And there was one with me in an eye mask, big on the huge screen. And I said in my Instagram caption that I had a real experience in this meditation. And look, you know, my intention for this whole retreat was— wasn't to manifest anything. I wasn't going there to manifest anything. I was going there to experience Joe. I was going there to soak it all in, um, to be present with intent to allow the same things to land in a different way, which it did.
Yeah.
But really the intent was to explore more of the nature and fabric of our reality. And people may perhaps see through my writing and the stuff that I talk about and how I talk about Tom Campbell and Dean Radin and Riz Virk and Donald Hoffman, how the deeper I go with this work, the more I know that on a subatomic level, It's energy, but more importantly, the better word is probably information. And you can't help when you do this work, the deeper you go, start getting into the territory of information theory, which is simulation hypothesis. And I'm not saying for one minute we're living in a video game because I think that's the wrong metaphor, but I actually think to loosely hold the concept that we don't know what this is, it's definitely not real like we think it is, And actually, it lends credence, in my opinion, to perhaps it being some form of information simulation, whatever that is. And I think that doesn't take away from how real this experience is. I think it helps me understand that this isn't, as I know with connecting with my mom, there's nothing to fear. I don't want to die. None of us do, because this is a very real sort of emotional experience to help consciousness evolve. But I think what it does mean is that the latest science and the latest teachers are all pointing in the same direction. And I think if that is the case, then it means that it's not fixed, and it means that it can be adjusted. And that's manifestation. We can adjust our reality. Now, the one thing that I went into that event with was trying to understand that a little bit more. And I wrote down in my journal, you know, Joe mentioned the word virtual reality over 10 times. He mentioned that, you know, this is a virtual reality. He also said, which I thought was hilarious, he said he referred to our body as a rent-a-car. And it's true, you know, that if, if it is, then, you know, we're incarnating into a physical body that's sort of a rent-a-car. We're renting this body temporarily whilst we experience, you know, physical reality. But anyway, so I had that intent to try and explore that more. And there was one particular meditation, I think it was, I think it was the Generous Present Moment, where there was a void of sort of nothing and just Music and Joe's on stage, isn't he, with the microphone? And I had this eye mask on. And I do this thing, by the way, with an eye mask, try it out next time, that I find that if I open my eyes weirdly in the eye mask, obviously you don't know whether your eyes are open or closed because it's a blackout eye mask. But as I pierced through nothing, I personally find myself just going just even deeper. deeper and deeper and deeper and deeper and deeper. And all of a sudden, in this eye mask, bearing in mind, like, there is no way light can get in, I start seeing this— how can I even describe it? It's hard to describe, but it was like a hologram that was all the colors of the rainbow initially. Imagine, like, tiny squares, and it was showing me physical reality. as tiny building blocks made from all the colors of the rainbow. And we know we're only seeing the visible light spectrum anyway. So, okay, so imagine that. See tables and chairs and everything else. And I could see that, and I could see almost the objects being made of these colors from the electromagnetic spectrum. And then what happened though, bearing in mind I'm piercing through the eye mask, it then zooms me in through the fabric of And I haven't even really shared this with you, through these little building blocks of whatever this is. And then I got down to essentially like, what is the substance or foundations of reality, which was this. It wasn't, it was like, it wasn't green like The Matrix. It was like more of a gray. And it was gray and it was all like tied together like this unified field linked together almost like neurons in a brain. But on the deepest level, all I could see was numbers, zeros and ones. And if you think of a simulation, well, any simulation is maths at its core. It's binary, it's zeros and ones. And it's sort of like, I was like, wow, if that is the nature of what this is at its core. Sorry, I hope everyone's following and not getting switched off with what I'm saying. Then I think that that's why if it really is numbers at its core or maths, then that's why numbers, especially angel numbers—
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Have such an impact.
Land so much. Because if you think of any reality or video game you play, it's fundamentally numbers, it's code, right? And then the reality's built on top of that. So if a larger consciousness system is trying to get our attention, it could even be us, right? And it wants to communicate with the rent-a-car or the avatar we're playing. How will it do it? Well, it will do it through code and it will do it through numbers. And therefore, why is one of the biggest signs that most people get numbers? Well, because numbers, like Pythagoras said, rule the universe. And we've learned here to interpret what the numbers mean and put meaning to the numbers. 4s for new big— for foundations, 3s for communication. And I was just like, I had this wild moment where I was like, wow. And it was just truly fascinating. So I just wanted to share that. And look, I'm not saying we're living in a simulation, but I know that this reality isn't fixed. And I think what we should take from it is that our own observation has the ability to reorient what we see.
Well, I think where that's really relevant is that it's Then frightening if you get caught up in a program.
Yeah. Why, Corisande?
Because the program doesn't exist and you're creating it.
Well, I think what's really important there, if we can talk about that— just a quick one. I find it amazing how many people are totally unaware that Corisande and I have our own manifestation community called the Beyond Community. We launched it in early 2026 and it is by far one of the best apps that I personally use every single day. And I know if you've got a dream, you are going to love this community. I'm not here to sell you the resources, but just know that if you want to be in the best place to help you get towards whatever it is that you're seeking to manifest, you're going to absolutely love everything that's in this community, all the resources and all the people. So if you just look in the show notes below, you're going to see a link to a 7-day free trial. Just come on in, check us out, check out everything that we have to offer. And if for whatever reason this community isn't for you, no hard feelings. You can leave anytime within that 7 days. But if you have got a dream and you'd love all the help to get you there, you're gonna absolutely love it. And with that said, back to the episode.
When you get caught up in a program, you are living in matter. So everything that's created is literally through you dragging your body through space and time. So you're leaving zero room for anything amazing to come in, or any opportunities, synchronicities. It's almost like switching off the magic. It's like turning it all off, which is so frightening because I think we all live in that stage at some point. It's so easy to slip back into it. When you get back into the daily routine and the life and everything, it's so easy to switch this off and go into the unconscious and become really unconscious of your thoughts and feelings, emotions. It's so easy. So this is why doing this work, going to these events, going to in-person things, meeting people switches you. You have to. It plugs you back in.
So true.
It forces you to plug back in. And I actually think that I encourage people to, you know, I think if you can do a few a year, make sure that you're checking in with yourself at each point. Where am I? You know, am I doing, am I at my best here? Am I, you know, am I really, am I plugged in? Am I, am I, you know, am I able to observe my thoughts? You know, have I fallen unconscious? It just helps to keep you in check.
I 100% agree. And I think, you know, this isn't a coaching session, of course. But I love what you said there about the beliefs. You know, you said that you, on that first day, you went and spent the afternoon in Basel with Humphrey because you felt obligated to.
We did have a really good time.
But actually, it was more of like you couldn't face—
I had guilt for not being there.
Yeah, you had guilt for not being there, but also you had guilt for not being with Humphrey. But your body was pulling you away from like facing it. What word would you use for what you, for what ultimately you could control that resulted in you then spending the second day or third day fully there? Like, what was that? Because you've got your program that pulled you away, and then there's something in you that you overrode in a sense. Not necessarily forced, or you, you then moved your body, the animal body that wanted you to stay with Humphrey?
It was soul.
It was soul? Soul that said what?
I'll tell you what it was. We'd gone back into Basel. I don't know, we had such a really lovely afternoon, but we were walking around, and if I'm being honest, Humphrey was not interested. He was not bothered, really. Like, he was pleased to see me for all of about 5 minutes. But it wouldn't— didn't make any difference me being there another 5 hours. Like, it made zero difference. It made more difference to me staying there, actually, than leaving. And, uh, I just sat there for a moment and I thought, wow, okay, so my body's dragged me away from this.
Right.
But my soul wants to be there and needs to be there.
Okay, so there's someone— so what I'm saying here is there's something in between. You've got a program and you've got the soul.
Yeah, I mean, it's just like an intuition. It's like a— it's, it's a knowing how important it is for me to be there. There was a, there was a, there was a real knowing. And there was a— do you know what? There was a, there was a, a, a realization, a really frightening realization that the guilt of not being there and guilt of leaving, right? Neither of them you can satisfy. Neither of them. You can't satisfy the mum guilt, and you can't satisfy the guilt of wanting to be ambitious or wanting to work or wanting to— you can't satisfy either of them. The only person that can satisfy them and sack them off is you. And if you don't do that, you will live in—
Yes.
You will live in actually a dysregulated, bitter, frustrated mind if you don't do that. You have to take control physically. You have to, of your mind. And you have to say, I give myself permission to be what I wanna be. I haven't got— I'm not answerable to anybody. And in order for me to provide this life for Humphrey, and to be the other half of what we're running, And to to be the best version of myself, I have got to go sit in that meditation and feel and understand and observe and listen to myself because this is somebody who's been doing this work for decades. He is the goat. Nobody will will overtake what he's done and the work that he has created. And it is so important. He's he's I I have the opportunity to learn from him here in the flesh, to listen to him, to feel his energy, not over YouTube. In the flesh. Yeah. So I dragged myself back the second day.
Well, what, what, why that's so powerful, because I think everyone can resonate with that in their own way about something they're going through. Perhaps they're currently in a situation, a job. Yeah. Where they know they want to take the leap and quit or do something else or start their own business. Everyone can copy and paste what you went through there in every other area of their life. Perhaps it's a relationship, perhaps it's a business, selling a business, whatever it is, you're never going to satisfy both because you've got the program, you've got the fear.
Yeah.
But you said it, you said control, you said drag, you said permission. I tell you the one thing that, going back to that meditation that I had, that I saw and I realized was what makes whatever this is meaningful in any way is what you've just said. And it's actually choice.
Yeah.
Because we, consciousness, let's say, is the ability to be aware that we have choice. And unlike, let's say, other conscious things like animals, their level of choices is limited in comparison to the levels of choices that a human gets to make. The danger is we have so many programs. And what I think we've lost, and this is what the work that you and I are helping people with, is realizing that if you're not conscious to those programs of fear and mum guilt and everything else, you become the program. Then you lose that choice. And you lose— or choice, you could say, is free will. You lose choice or free will to a program.
Yeah.
And really what you did and what everyone else can do is you Take back control, you take back choice, and you realize that no, this is—
Like, if— yeah, and I think, I think the best way of describing it is like, if you— if your body's resisting but your mind is pulling, you know it's right. Because your mind, bless it, hasn't got the physical ability to keep you in, keep you in one place. Your body is so much stronger, really, even though you wouldn't think it, because your body can physically force you to stay somewhere in your mind. It can force you to feel trapped. It can, it can, it can send you into this, like, you know, you don't really need to go, you're comfortable here. Like, you don't really need to— like, you don't need to sit down. Like, you know this work. Like, why do you need to sit down? All these other people, they need it. You don't need it. That's what my brain was telling me.
Mm-hmm.
And, uh, there was actually a part of me that was like, Well, he won't know that I, like, he won't know that I've got, like, he's got 8,500 people. But then I was like, but there was going to be a seat empty, like, he's—
On the front row. And he did, because he basically stood on it next to me, and he sort of like was as if to say, wait, she's gone first.
Yeah, yeah, I know. Well, yeah, I know, I felt, I felt that even though he wasn't, and he probably didn't even notice, you know. I, when I came back that, that second day, I really felt him almost saying You came back, did you? Yeah.
Yeah. But you know, we, we've just had on the podcast an amazing woman called Tamu Thomas.
Oh, she's incredible.
You know, she helps people flourish.
Incredible woman.
I mean, it's hard to describe the work she does because she's so brilliant. But you know, if you imagine anyone in a capacity of, you know, a high performer or someone that works hard, she really helps people flourish and find that sort of natural state. And the one thing she really helped me with today, and I think a lot of people can resonate with is that there's no such thing as a work-life balance. So I think there, what you were trying to do is balance being at Joe's is a mixture of like personal development, but work as well, because the very same company that are hosting us host Joe. Well, let's learn from them and see what they do. So that's work. But then your life's unfolding and you don't wanna miss out on Humphrey being in Switzerland for the first time with your mum. And what are they doing? And they're going through all these quaint shops and they're having coffee. Well, not Humphrey, but you know what I mean?
Yeah.
And you really struggled with that, and I think I do too. And she said, and so many people say it and I love it, doesn't exist. What she said does exist though is harmony and communication. And you can— harmony is— there's like, harmony is a lever where you communicate to, let's say, your mum and Humphrey, and anyone else can resonate with this or perhaps look at their own life, and you say—
I'm going to be out of action for these next—
Right now.
Yeah.
I'm going to be out of action because this is really, really important, but it's going to finish on Wednesday. And then you communicate that and your mum was like, yeah, great. And Humphrey's now at an age where he can understand. And I really struggle to communicate sometimes effectively, you know. And then the harmony moves, the dial of harmony can move Then back to, okay, you saying to our team and our assistants, look, guys, I'm out of action now when it comes to work because now we're still in Switzerland. We're having, uh, we're having some downtime in Zurich now from Thursday to Sunday. Um, don't expect to reply. And that's the harmony back there. And you communicate that. But I think what we all do is we don't do that.
We don't do that, but we also—
Which I thought was great.
Yeah, I think that's, I think that's, that was so powerful what she said there. But I think it's also realising that in order to have the freedom and flexibility that I want to be able to have, it's going to require a level of work. Yeah. And I think, I think that, I think that, I think we have to be able to say, for us to get to where we are now, It's not been just a case of meditating and we're here. As much as I've had the most amazing visions and they've guided us to it, and it's been an amazing path, there has been a lot of work.
There has.
A lot of hard work.
A lot of balancing.
A lot of balancing, a lot of going after things that are invisible and making— getting comfortable and then throwing our life back up in the air in order to push ourselves forward. And that, that has to be said. So that does sometimes mean making sacrifices, and that does sometimes mean making difficult choices, but it's at the hand of knowing that what lies at the end of it, I think. And that's what's really, really important, because being there in the research and the invaluable lessons that we learn from that pushes us even further forward as to what we need to do and double down on. And it showed me, uh, what was missing, what's missing from us and what we do, what's missing from the people we work with, what's missing from our team, what the people we meet, the people that you need behind you, the element of what's needed to create and make it so seamless. All of these things. Um, because I think maybe what a lot of people didn't appreciate that were there, which I was massively appreciating, is how many other people people are involved in that.
And Joe's team.
And that, and creating that.
Sure.
Um, so yes, I felt very privileged. I think we, we genuinely—
I think it's also a good insight, isn't it, into, you know, I think obviously half of everything we do is complete manifestation, you know, complete getting into the unknown, complete visualization, really mapping that out, catching ourselves falling unconscious, all of that work. A lot of people say to us though, what is, what, what is it, what does life look like? How are you doing it at all? Some people could easily say, well, you didn't need to go out to Switzerland and do that. You know what Joe's going to talk about. But that's the very thing. I think we're always investing in ourselves, always to be the— I think I always say, people say to me, because my book's called Beyond Wanting, does that mean I can't want? And I'm like, no, It's just that you have to move out of a state of wanting. So get clear first on what you want, but then immediately say, this is the desire, and I need to get out of the state of wanting the desire, and I need to become the best version of me. I am being the best version of me. So for example, if my desire now, my want, my lack, and yours is to now take our work in person all around the world, do immersive workshops and change lives. Well, we can't just sit and want that from our office. I, we need to embody the, I or we are being the best versions of ourselves right now to embody what it takes to host amazing workshops. So therefore, we need to go And invest in ourselves and see and learn from the people that are mastering this on the highest level. Podcasts. The reason we're here in London doing this is because I was manifesting in-person podcasts in London to see how others were doing it. You know, and so when people say, how do you manage it all? Well, we don't really. There's so much going on, but we're constantly putting ourselves, aren't we?
Yeah.
in situations. And I think for anyone also listening, I always try and bring this back to the listener. You know, we, Corisande and I, when we were manifesting our, like, our house in Cornwall, you know, the year or so before that, we were viewing houses and we genuinely didn't have, like, the money to buy those houses. We didn't even know if we'd even get a mortgage at the time because we were self-employed back then and we didn't have enough books or whatever those traditional organizations say.
Yeah.
You know, deposit, whatever. But we were viewing houses that people thought were completely unrealistic and way out, like, yeah, wishful thinking. And we would view those houses just to get a sense of the person that we needed to be in order to buy that house. And we wouldn't, we'd walk around that house or those houses, you know, knowing that we didn't have the money. but we needed to feel it. Same for cars.
But I think you have, yeah, but I think you have to, there has to be a level of, you have to have a level of knowing and belief in yourself. You have to, you have to always sustain that belief that you're worthy and also that belief that you, you can do it. And, you know, a lot of people, I hear a lot of people say that, you know, I, and I think it's just one thing that Joe always talks about that I think is really powerful, that when he says, a lot of people believe it, they just don't believe it can happen to them.
To them, yes.
And I think that's the thing, like a lot of people will see the proof of the people doing it, but they genuinely then internalise this belief of like, it won't happen to me. And I think there's that, it's that realisation that you have to stop watching the Instagram posts of people showing things that they've achieved. And instead of going, well, I haven't got that, go turn it into drive and turn it into a belief in yourself. Don't see it as— there's far too much stuff online of people showing off and it actually giving people this huge dopamine hit, but then this drop afterwards of, I haven't got that. And really what we need so much more of in this world is people helping other people to believe that they can do this. And I think, you know, whenever I— if I take myself way, way, way, way, way back, because so many people ask me all the time, I get so many messages from people saying, you know, how do you and Matt— like, do you both, you know, maybe like my partner's not really into this work and I really struggle. Like, because you don't need someone else. Like, no one else is going to come and make this any more real. Like, you're the only person You can make it real in your mind. You don't need your partner to be on board for you to believe in this work. You have to have complete faith and belief in yourself and your ability. And you also have to really sit with this realization that if you're just sitting watching what someone else is doing and not taking any action inside of you, like it's the action, it's really like, it's really leaning in and believing and seeing and visualising. And how can people take action? Honestly, for me, it's by reverse engineering those steps and creating that vision, holding an intention, clear, a clear intention.
Clear intention. You and I both don't— people want to know what we're doing together. Even on the drive to Tiverton from Cornwall this morning, Corisande and I are both saying, are we together right now, 100% unified together on the next 12 months. Like, is there, is there, is there anything that's unclear? Don't we? Like, 100% clear.
But also answering why. So when you come up with a vision, let's just say like, like, it's really interesting because I actually had a message from someone the other day saying what they were looking to manifest, and I really wanted to message back and ask why? Yeah. And because you have to be able to answer, like, don't just say, you know, for me, I want £1 million a year. Why? You have to be able to, like, really reverse engineer the why, right back down to, like, is it ego? Or is it seriously, like, this is something soul inside of you? This is, this isn't, you know, this is like an inner knowing. Um, and I, and I think—
That is so true.
And I think genuinely just holding the belief in your, your, your abilities and staying so consistent with the work, you know, realizing that someone's going to push you off, someone is going to say something to annoy you, someone is going to say something to frustrate you, someone is going to knock that belief. It's all going to be a test the whole day. The journaling, the gratitude, the meditation— it's not even 10% of the work. the, the rest is in the day with your eyes open.
Yeah.
And it's, and it's not— it's realizing that everyone slips. Everyone. Because you're not normal and you're not human if you're not. There's no one on this earth that doesn't slip. But it's realizing how quickly I think do you recover from it.
I think that is so powerful and so true. And I think the most powerful thing about that— and in fact, I had this exact conversation with a client the other day who told me a certain figure that he was trying to sell his business for, and I have absolutely zero doubt in his ability to get that. But the one thing he needed to work out himself was the energetic byproduct of why, like what he'd do with that money, and actually whether he could live the byproduct of that life on a lesser amount. And if people are wondering how Coruscant and I do that with our manifestations, it's very simply not like plucking a figure out of thin air for ego. It's like, okay, well, how do we want to evolve everything we're doing? And what will that require? And aiming for that amount. And I always say, like, dream smaller to manifest faster, meaning that I don't need this crazy wild thing. Let's just be like, okay, where do we need to head? And it always, when you know it and feel it and believe it, and it's like, yeah, I'm clear, that's exactly it, always blows you away, always surpasses your wildest dreams, always does. And I think slight segue here, but someone that I think is a testimony of that is the largest YouTuber on the planet, MrBeast. Only 10 years ago was he doing videos in his bedroom saying, and he posts, he did these videos where he scheduled them to go out 10 years in advance. And that version of him 10 years ago was saying, oh, I hope I have a million followers. Now to this day, he's got 500 million subscribers. And he is, the work he's doing around the world, like helping people building schools in Africa, he's giving like millions of dollars away in videos. And he started with nothing in his bedroom, but he wasn't dreaming this big. He wasn't. He even said there's no way he would've predicted it. And even Joe said at his events, he didn't plan for any of this. And that's the whole point, I think, You know?
And I also think, don't you think there's something like you can really tell when someone's doing something from soul and not expecting anything in return? I'll tell you who else I thought of, uh, that Matt Armstrong that we watch. Oh, we do love Matt Armstrong, don't we? Really great guy, isn't he? Does up cars.
Yeah.
And you know what, sometimes I watch it and like, for anyone that maybe does something they don't know about me is I'm massively into cars, like hugely. If I could have a garage with like 25 cars. Actually, me and a friend were talking about this and we were like, him and I were listing what cars. And, and like, for me it would be— it's not from like, it's nothing to do with ego. For me it's like a love of cars, like a pure love.
What car do you like at the moment, Si?
Oh, it's everything.
Honestly, I mean, like, put it out there, come on.
Oh, I love a G-Wagon, but then I'll go as far as like loving a, like a, like a proper sports car, you know, that fits you in a shoebox. and that's about it. Yeah, like for me, there's just no end there, you know. Love a vintage car, I love all these things. But what I was getting back to, the point of this conversation, is that, um, I love his YouTube because you can see, right, he— if anyone doesn't, I like, check him out, he's such a great guy. Like does up cars, he buys cars that are like, you maybe have been in a car accident and he does them up. And honestly, he's such a talented guy. But what draws you in is he has this—
So true.
His love of what he's doing oozes through the screen. You're not even thinking about the fact that he's earning millions, millions off what is his YouTube channel. You're looking and going, this is a guy who's doing something that his soul loves.
And isn't that the key then?
Yeah. And like, what comes out of it is just this, just this, this, um, authenticity. And I just think, you know, when you do something from soul and you expect nothing in return, and just the love of doing it is enough to keep you going, what comes from that is just the most enormous amount of abundance. Not, not in wealth, just wealth in like this sense of fulfillment and purpose.
And I would say that there's a great saying that when you give, you receive. And when I say that, people say, yeah, but Matt, I give all the time. And I go, But when you really give without the invisible string attached to what I might get, and you give, and it's hard, but when you give from a place where you don't expect anything in return, you do just end up receiving. Like I shared the story of when I first started out on social media whilst having another business and I was giving all my value of manifestation. I never thought in my wildest dreams back then, it wasn't even, I didn't even know you could make money with manifestation. I was never thinking about how I might make money. I was for over a year just giving, giving from just because I love it. And actually, I don't care. I genuinely don't care about money. Like, yeah, of course you need it. And the more money you have, the more we can scale the team and events. Sure. But money isn't what drives me. Like, what drives me is just being able to expand on the giving. Okay, bring me 500 people, bring me 1,000. Because if I can give to those many people, of course you're going to make money. Of course you are. Like, You don't need to be Einstein to work that out. The more people you serve, the more you're going to help. But I think when you just focus on who can I help and how can I expand on the volume of giving, then you're just going to— but I think so many of us naturally focus on what we can get from it. And I think that's dangerous. Anyway, I will just say to anyone tuning in that might be discovering us for the first time because this YouTube channel, or not just YouTube, if you're listening to us on any of the platforms, It's growing and it's great, and you know this is amazing. But if you want to have more to do with Coruscant and I, and you're wondering, then obviously, you know, follow us on social media. The best place, though, to be fully up to speed with everything behind the scenes is definitely the Beyond community. I'm sure you've heard that pop up on this on this podcast. But no, in all seriousness, inside there, I'm not even going to talk about the features and. stuff. Go and check it out. There's a bunch of tools that are going to massively help you change your life for sure. But it's just where Cora-Sanne and I really hang out with the community. We share what's going on. We give people first refusal on events and keynotes and, and what we're both doing.
And our retreats.
Our retreats. Yeah, it's a, it's, you know, it's, if, if we really feel like we're building that community, there's no pressure to be part of it. But come and check us out if you're not in there. Otherwise, thank you. Thank you. Thank you. And thank you to you for a great conversation.
Thank you.
We'll see you in another episode soon.
