In this segment of the YouTube video "The Dr Joe Dispenda Effect," host Matt Cooke and a guest (Speaker B) discuss the influence of Dr. Joe Dispenza’s teachings on their personal journeys. They reflect on how exposure to Dispenza’s work—through podcasts, in‑person events, and meditation—prompted deeper self‑observation, a willingness to sit with uncomfortable thoughts, and a shift from avoidance to intentional presence. Key ideas include mastering presence in the unknown, creating space for synchronicity, and the metaphor of being "plugged back in" after feeling disconnected. The dialogue emphasizes that transformation can occur without forced reading, highlighting the power of experiential practice and community gatherings.

As soon as you start looking at quantum mechanics and manifestation, Dr. Joe Dispenza, just, he's there, he pops up and it's gone in a flash. But 5 years ago when we'd quit our jobs and we had nothing, we were watching Joe on podcasts. To be there right in his presence was sort of everything really.
Yeah, I wasn't really prepared for the energy that he brings to a room and I realized it was, it was an avoidance of facing the work, not wanting to sit with my thoughts. for an hour. Wow. In meditation.
Why?
I don't think I wanted to face the fact that I can't be everything and I've got to be clear and intentional with what I'm doing.
I think that is so powerful and so true. And we all have intentions to manifest. And I always say this, but the real intention is to master presence, or I should say master being more in the unknown in a world that's designed to pull us from that.
I had some profound experiences, like the ability to self-observe to a point where I was like really pulling my body back.
You know, I've never forced you to read any of Joe's books or any other book, but something's changed in you since that.
My plug was, it was in, it was resting in the socket, but it wasn't fully pushed in. And Joe slammed it back in and switched it back on.
If you're not making space in your routine, in your life for the unknown, then how do you expect the unknown to communicate with you? And how do you expect synchronicity in the known?
This is why doing this work, going to these events, going to in-person things, meeting people plugs you back in.
You know, I've been studying or listening to Jo's work for 7 years, but for me, there's one thing that happened to me in a meditation that I'm really excited to share.
