The REAL Secret of Manifestation: The Universe, Intention & The Observer Effect | Matt Cooke

Matt Cooke describes his personal journey from a stressed corporate real-estate manager (Sept 2018) to exploring consciousness after a profound experience in February 2019 when he perceived a vibration and heard a voice he identified as his deceased mother. He connects manifestation and intention to concepts from physics and consciousness—notably the observer effect and quantum/subatomic behavior—and cites experiments (PEAR Lab random event generators, Rene Peoc’h’s chick study), HeartMath research on heart-field strength, and a reference to Google’s Willow quantum chip. He teaches a daily practice (meditation, journaling, gratitude, emotional embodiment, inspired action) and leads a short intention meditation; he also mentions a book release on 11 November (11/11) and discusses practical questions from the audience about aligned action and spirit contact.

Intention is a focused thought towards what it is that you seek to attract. And manifestation is the deliberate act of bringing something that you desire into the physical world using a combination of thoughts, feelings, and actions. That's not where I started, though. And being from the uk, we're naturally quite skeptical. And if someone had said to me then, matt, you have the power to magically something into your life, I wouldn't have believed them. For 10 years, I was a real estate agent. And in September 2018, I was struggling with a lot of stress. At the time. I was the youngest manager in my company. And I had this real tight chest, this pressure that I'm sure so many of you can resonate with if you're in the corporate world. And I didn't know what to do. And from the most unlikely source, my wife's grandmother suggested that I should have some reflexology. I had no idea really what that was, but I agreed to go along. So I arrived at my wife's grandmother's house, and I was met with a therapist. We didn't know each other, and as I lay on the couch for what I thought would be a simple foot massage, he asked me a question that completely changed my life. He said to me, matt, so tell me who you are. I said, I'm 26 years old. I'm the youngest manager in the company that I work for. And he said, no, no, no, no. I didn't ask what you did for a living. I asked who you are. Wow. Who am I? Who am I? In that moment, I realized that my whole life had been identified as this armor, this suit, trying to impress people in my environment. And I didn't know how to answer that question. But what I did realize in that moment was that there was someone behind that suit, someone that actually wasn't happy. And I remember in that moment, the metaphor I like to use is an astronaut. They're in space in this suit. The suit's keeping them safe, but we know there's someone inside. And that became my starting point to try and figure out who I was inside. And the months after that, I started to explore more of I and who this awareness was and what he wanted. And the first manifestation, even though I didn't know what manifestation was at the time, was to get out of this feeling unfulfilled and trapped in my corporate career at 26, the thought of doing it for 40 more years was just not something I was prepared to accept. So I continued. And just to keep me going, I was watching motivational videos on YouTube. Tony Robbins @ the time and Jim Rohn just to keep me going. I had no idea really where I was going. And this led up to another huge moment in my life which changed everything. Everything. And that was in February 2019, about six months after. I'm lying in bed with my wife. It's a Tuesday evening. I remember it so clearly. 10pm and we're watching Netflix on the laptop. And I decided to roll over and go to sleep. And my wife continued watching Netflix. And you know when you're trying to go to sleep but you're not and you're still aware of the world around you? I could still hear Netflix playing. That was the world I was in. And out of nowhere, something happened. What started at the base of my feet slowly started to spread across my body. A vibration which eventually encapsulated the entirety of my body. An intense vibration that wasn't painful. So I allowed it to continue. But I did feel like I could have stopped it if I wanted to. It was so intense. I felt like I was hovering above the bed. And then a high pitched ring in both ears, really loud. And then silence. And I heard a voice. And the voice sounded like it was at the opposite end of a sports hall, getting closer and closer and closer. And the voice said, hi, Matt, it's Mum. Can you hear me? Now? The reason that blew me away is because my mother passed away 18 months before that. And as you can imagine, a suit and tie Brit, who doesn't really believe in spirituality, but sort of trying to, is blown wide open. So I exchanged a few words with my mother in complete disbelief before my wife, who's still awake, innocently nudged me and she said, matt, who are you talking to? And I turned to tell her and turned back and my mother had gone. So how do you continue living a life after something like that? You can't. But here's what I did do. For the next two weeks, my mission was to try and connect again. So 10 o' clock the next night, we have to watch the same Netflix program. You have to stay awake. I know you normally sleep before me, but you have to stay awake. And I'm now going to roll over. And here we go. Ready? Nothing. Every single night for two weeks, nothing. And I was like, huh, well, what happened there? And then I had this realization that I didn't try the first time and I was trying the next two weeks. So what do you do? I was now completely intrigued. I had to get the answer in my mind. The way I work, I have, I'm very I'm like an engineer. I break things down to fully get it. So who do you ask these questions for? Me, I had to try and figure it out myself. My initial was want was to try and initially connect with my mother again. So as I start exploring, obviously what we can't see with our naked eye, I realized that actually we are only seeing less than 0.01% of the entirety of the electromagnetic spectrum. So over 99.9% of reality is invisible fields of energy. So as I start exploring this world of energy, I very quickly realized what had obviously forgotten at school or had not been listening to at school, which was that everything is energy. And if you break anything down to its purest form, you get to energy, whether it's this stand here or my physical body. And let's just go there for a moment. If we take the human body and we break it down, we see skin, then we'll see bone, then we'll see flesh, and we can go deeper again. Cells, molecules, atoms. So atoms are this level that everything can be broken down to. And as I start exploring this world, I start understanding and hearing this concept of energy and vibration and frequency. And then I start hearing this concept of manifestation and the law of attraction. And the thoughts attract like, attracts like. And that our thoughts can create physical things in our physical environment. And to be honest, I thought it was intriguing, but I didn't quite buy into it. So I started exploring a little bit deeper and realized if we take the atom. Stick with me here. When we break everything down to its purest form, we have atoms. And atoms are very, very predictable. When we look at an atom, it travels through space. And the further the space, that's how time is created. And scientists can track atoms very predictably. That's Newtonian physics. So the further the space, the further the atom needs to go. And here's where manifestation really clicked for me. What happens if we break open this atom, though? What's the atom itself made from? Well, the atom is over 99.9% invisible fields of energy. So if we break open an atom, we're now in the subatomic world. And the atom is made from a nucleus, and then it has electrons that whiz in and out. And this is where I really want you to stick with me on. Because when we get to the subatomic level, subatomic particles do not behave in the same way as atoms. When scientists are looking at electrons, they appear in one state when they're being observed. And the moment observation is taken away, they Disappear and instantaneously reappear. So imagine a scientist is here looking at electrons here. They move their observation there. Or a measurement moves to there, it disappears and instantaneously reappears. So it's not traveling through space. So what's happening? The question is, well, where's the electron disappearing to? When observation is taken away, the electron is returning back to where it's from source, the unified field, an infinite field of energy, quantum fields of energy, which we're all from. The electron makes the atom. The atom makes you and I and everything else. But what's truly fascinating is observation is what turns that field of intelligence into the physical world. So when a scientist is here and they move their observation. And it then merges back with the field and instantaneously reappears. That's called collapse of the wave function. And that's a scientific fact in quantum mechanics. So how does this relate to manifestation? Then? The question is, where's our own observation? Is it rooted in lack? Is it rooted in wanting? My book, which is being published in November, is called Beyond Wanting. Because wanting carries a vibration of lack. How many of us want healing or want love or want more money? We have to move beyond it and embody that version of ourselves who's already got it. And I'll explain that. So let's do an exercise together to understand observation and where we are just going to take my jacket off because it is quite warm. If you'll close your eyes for me. Simple exercise. In your mind's eye. Not out loud. I just want you to say the word hello five times in your mind. Five times. And now say the word hello again inside your head as loud as you can. Five more times. Now open your eyes. So the question is, you can open your eyes. Did you. Who heard the word hello when you did that? Did you hear the word hello in your head as you did that? Maybe you saw the word hello. Maybe there was a combination of both. The question is, who heard it? Who heard the word hello? Okay, great. Yeah. Now let me ask you this. But in the head, though, in your head, who heard it? Yeah. Okay. Now, you don't need to raise your hand for this. The question is, if you could see or hear the word hello, who heard it? Would you say, I heard it. Your name, Heard it. There was clearly separation when you experienced that. Yeah. You either saw the word hello or heard the word hello. Who heard it is the observer, the consciousness, the witness, the awareness, the separation. You are not your thoughts. You are the separation of them. Metacognition. Is this term I love, meta, meaning on top of metacognition, we can think about what we're thinking about. So if you are aware and you did hear the word hello, you're not the word hello, then hello is a thought. But if you said to the average person in the street, you know, you're not your thoughts, they'd think you're crazy. We're clearly separate from our thoughts. But if we don't practice that simple exercise, where is the observer? The observer becomes entangled within our thoughts, the inner critic, whatever we think about ourself. But if we practice separation, we have power, and we all have that inner power because we're always in a state of manifestation at all times. But it starts with the understanding that we're separate from our thoughts. If anyone's watched Lord of the Rings, Anyone watched Lord of the Rings. Yeah. Do you know the scene of Gandalf on the bridge when the monster's coming over and he says, you shall not pass. That is what we have to be like with the thoughts, the inner critic inside. Because if we're not practicing that separation on the bridge, our observation becomes that thought. And then we allow it in. It slips past our awareness, goes down the brainstem into the body, creates a feeling, and then we act in accordance with that feeling. But what if we practice catching those thoughts, reframing Those thoughts? Only 20 years ago, New science came in called neuroplasticity. At any age. At any age. And we've had some great speakers here today talk about trauma and talk about limiting beliefs. At any age, we can forge new pathways in the brain. But we've got to start by catching those thoughts. We have to. And the way I see neuroplasticity, I want you to imagine in your brain right now you have these, well, trodden pathways. And your brain's main objective is to save energy. So it's going to do all it can to take you down the path of least resistance. And those pathways are normally negative. Those negative thoughts are easy to think. And instead of fighting with them, resonate with them and understand. I'll share something with you. A limiting thought of my own was that no one will attend my events. I have nearly a million followers, so I could understand. Logically that makes no sense, but let me resonate with why that thought exists in my mind. Because my family have always let me down at events. Even my son's christening a month ago. I have four brothers. None of them came. So of course now when I think about events, straight away I go, no one will attend. And so many of you have who follow me here. So thank you. So resonate, understand, create separation and go right when that thought comes in, I'm gently going to reframe it. And it's not easy. Initially, I want you to imagine for me being in a forest. Okay. And when you go to a forest, there's these trails in a forest, well, trodden trails and pathways. And when we're in that forest and we're going down those trails, at any time we can choose to deviate from that path. But it's not easy. We're snagged by branches, there's stinging nettles, and we'll do all we can. Our body will do all it can to bring us back to those world trodden pathways. But if you keep going in that forest, you will eventually create a new pathway and the person behind you will go, that's a new pathway and they'll go down it and then the person behind it will go down it too. And you can forge these new path. And that's exactly like our brain. Initially when we try and think positively, it's difficult and that's okay. Just resonate and understand why. So the more I was learning this, the more I had this realization that wanting is a great place to start, but also a bit of a paradox. Wanting is the problem. I was satisfied on holiday with my wife in Corfu in August 2019, lying on the sunbed, looking out at the most amazing view and desperately wanting freedom. And we were trying to build an online business at the time. And I remember saying to myself, wanting is the problem. In order to create this freedom, I have to embody freedom first. I can't wait for freedom on the outside world. I've got to fully embody it first. And then I look back at my experiences from that first reflexology session to then connecting with my mother, and realize that what I did unconsciously was start raising my vibration. By being intrigued about the awareness and then sort of watching motivational videos online to then eventually connecting with my mom. I was unconsciously raising my vibration to be the frequency. And I've got medium friends now who's told me, Matt, the reason we're called mediums is because we help people connect on the middle. So I realized in that moment that it's a game of vibrational frequency. It's a game of alignment, not just from our thoughts, but our feelings too. So I really started to explore the power of intention and really started to experiment with what I could do in my life. And long story short, I was able to get out of the corporate world and create the life I have now. But I want to share with you some pretty amazing research that's been done on intention. So the first that I thought was really intriguing was an experiment that ran in 1979 at Princeton University, and they were called the PEAR Lab. And this research ran, this particular one ran for 12 years, and it was super interesting. They had random event generators, and these random event generators were like coin flippers, and all they did was flip zeros and ones. And they got people, regular people just like you and I, to sit in front of the machine. And they had one job, to hold the intention of one. It's programmed to be 50, 50 over a long period of time. It wouldn't deviate from 50, 50. So they told regular people, sit in front of the machine and just hold in your mind's eye the number one. It's going to throw out zeros and ones, zeros and ones, but your job is to manifest or will more ones. So this trial ran for 12 years. 2.4 million trials were done, and they were able to prove scientifically that the human mind was able to influence a machine. And the data proved that, because after 2.5 million trials, it started to deviate from chance, which is mathematically impossible with that amount of trial. However, the results were truly interesting because even though they asked people to manifest more ones, people also manifested more zeros. So they were super interested as to how that happened. So first they interviewed the people that were really good at manifesting more ones, and they said to them, what did you do? You followed the instructions. We told you to hold the intention of 1s and you did it. Well done. Tell us what you did. And they said, well, you know, I believed in it firstly, like, I found it really exciting, the fact that I could influence a machine. And I had fun and I got into, like, a meditative state and I was relaxed and, yeah, I just had a really good time. Great, okay. And then they asked the people who got more zeros. Now, this is interesting because these people were still trying to get ones. So they were in front of the machine holding the intention of ones, but got more zeros. And they interviewed those people, and those people said, I didn't really believe in what I was doing. You know, I didn't believe in my ability to influence the machine. And they were very analytical about it. They weren't relaxed, they weren't getting into their body. And what happened then, even though they Were holding the conscious intention of ones, they got more zeros. Now the latest science tells us that 5% of who we are is conscious intent. 95% of who we are is subconsciously programmed. So you can have all the conscious intention right? Now think about something that you'd love to manifest. That's coming from 5%. 95% of who we are is subconsciously programmed. So if those people hold the intention of one, but they don't believe it, the question is, what is the dominant observation of reality? Their body, Their subconscious. So when it comes to manifestation, then what? I win with every single time. And Penguin have just asked me to write an article for the New York Times. Dream smaller to manifest faster. Too many people talk about dreaming big and I say dream smaller. Do you know why? Because the smaller goal builds the bigger goal. So why not reverse engineer it? Believability is key. You've got to feel it. So when I first found that experiment, I was like, that's really cool, but is there anything else that could also blow me away? And in 1990, a French researcher called Rene Poet had a beautiful, beautiful experiment with newly hatched chicks. Baby chicks. Again. He had a room and he had a robot, a random event generating robot, just moving randomly around a room. He placed these chicks in the room and he wanted to see whether the chicks, these baby chicks, could influence the robot to move from random to disorder, to order and come over to the chicks. When he did that, nothing happened. So he changed it. He thought, I'm going to see what happens when the chicks imprint on their mother when they hatch. So he put baby chicks in the corner of a room that weren't hatched. And as soon as they hatched, they imprint on the first thing they see. And the first thing they saw was the robot. A random robot, baby chicks. And then the results changed. Instead of this robot moving randomly around a room like this, the robot moved to the corner of the room and started moving around the cage of the chicks. So that proved that a chick had the power to influence physical reality. A machine. Do you think a baby chick though, has got limiting beliefs? Do you think a chick doesn't believe that that's its mother? Of course not. It imprinted on it straight away. So what was it that was able to influence the machine? Love. Love. So when it comes to your intention, I want you to know this. It's not about faking it till you make it. I really struggled with that concept when I first started out with this work. How could I pretend that I've Got more money? Or how could I pretend that I'm successful when I'm not? My ego struggled with that. But we can feel it. My phrase is, don't fake it till you make it. Feel it till you make it. Because the truth is, subconsciously, the brain does not know the difference between what's real and what's imagined. And we can all resonate with that. If you've ever had a nightmare and you wake in the middle of the night from a nightmare, for a split second you wake and you go for a moment, you believe that that vision, that nightmare was real. And you look at your body and there's evidence. Your heart's racing and you're sweating. It's only then when you rationalize it and say, don't worry, it was just a dream. So then what if. What if you were able to slow down your brain in a meditation, get out of busy beta brain waves, the noise, come down to alpha and theta and strike a very clear vision and marry that up with a feeling, something very, very powerful is going to happen there. And the HeartMath Institute have done some really groundbreaking work on the power of thoughts and feelings. So there's really two secrets to intention. It's not enough to just think thoughts. Remember, those baby chicks were influencing that machine by love. The HeartMath Institute have confirmed that a thought alone can be measured about 2 inches from the head. But a feeling can be measured several feet from the body. However, that's just the latest equipment that can scan that. The truth is, if you've ever heard the term mother's intuition, a mother from one part of the world, if their child's traveling the other part of the world, how do they know it's love? So they know that the heart is 100 times stronger than the brain electrically, 5,000 times stronger magnetically. So the two secrets to manifestation, which you hear so many people in our space talk about, such as Esther and Jerry Hicks, Lynne McTaggart, Dr. Joe Dispenza. It's a coherent, clear thought married with the corresponding feeling. But it has to be clear, and it has to be done with consistency. And before we do a meditation to show this, I want to just segue slightly into something which is also very deep, and that's quantum computers. And I think I'm probably the only manifestation coach bringing in quantum computers with manifestation. But this really needs to be understood. Okay, so I want you to imagine that you're standing at the entrance to a maze, and I give you a task. And that task is to get to the middle of that maze. What you will do is you will go down different pathways in that maze to eventually find your way to the middle. That's exactly how the fastest supercomputer on earth also behaves. It will stand at the entrance of a maze, and it will go down each pathway individually to eventually get to the middle very, very quickly. Though quantum computers don't do that. Google launched their Willow chip in December last year, and Willow is their quantum chip. Willow stands at the entrance to a maze. Same task gets there instantaneously. How it can go down all pathways at the same time, leveraging what's known as superposition. So they asked Google's fastest supercomputer to solve an equation, and they also asked Willow to solve an equation. Their supercomputer, the one that has to go down the maze individually, it would have taken ten septillion years to solve, which is an age older than the universe, to solve that equation. Willow solved it in five minutes. And the chief of Google's AI said, it's truly fascinating. It lends credence to the many worlds interpretation. And the many worlds interpretation, first spoken about in the 1970s, dictates that we live in a parallel multiverse where there is a parallel infinite amount of versions of you sitting here right now. And Willow was able to get the answer from a parallel version of the universe where the answer already existed. And when we talk about this field, the same place Willow was able to get the answer, this field is infinite. There's an infinite amount of energy there, and energy is always moving at different frequencies and frequencies rich in information. So whatever it is that you seek to manifest already exists as energy. And it's your observation that collapses it into the physical world. The reason I'm talking about quantum computers here, and my fascination around it is understanding how they perform. Quantum computers are only able to function in the coldest temperatures on Earth. A supercomputer can just work here right now. But it would take ten septillion years to solve that question. Quantum computers, ice cold temperatures. And that's because when I spoke about that wave function collapsing from energy to matter, it has to be in ice cold temperatures, because any friction, any noise, any temperature will distort that calculation. And in quantum computing, their biggest issue is friction. Incoherence. Why am I saying that? Why am I telling you that? Because we're no different to Willow. We have the same abilities to manifest an answer. But our problem often is friction is our own thoughts, our energy thieves in our life. So what we really have to do, to perform just like a quantum computer and manifest any outcome in our life is create a frictionless environment. And we see this. You know, if anyone's been to one of Dr. Joe Dispenza's events, you have a thousand people in a room. And people go with stage four cancer. And at the end of a week goes same with energy enhancement systems, coherence, frictionless environments, beautiful people retreat from their lives, they don't check their emails, and miracles happen. And I say, we can do this, but we also have to do this outside of events as well. We have to go home and we have to really embody this truth that we're a creator and we have to create a frictionless environment. And when we do that with consistency, I promise you, miracles happen. They really do. Absolute miracles happen. So when people ask me, what is my routine? What do I do to embody this? Like I asked you at the very start, I start every single day in a form of meditation, mentally rehearsing my future. When I get clear on my vision, and this is really important, I first don't think any further out than 12 months, just because for me, 12 months is a good timeline. It's far enough away for it to feel believable. Anything can happen in a year. And then I like to break it down from there as well. And we're going to do a meditation together in a moment into what I call sequential steps, smaller manifestations along the way. And I rehearse every single day by thinking and feeling at the same time. And then I come out of that meditation and I journal, and my journal is like my war room. I'll write a question like, what's on my mind today? What am I afraid of? What action do I need to take? And I just get it out. I purge. Because if it's not on paper, where is it? I get it out. Then I move to gratitude. Gratitude is my secret weapon when it comes to manifestation. But I'm not just grateful for what's already in my life, because I should be anywhere. I'm grateful for what's not yet in my life as if it already is, but the next step. So this morning, I'm so grateful and blessed now that my keynote at the Be youe Light Conference was a success, because I love sharing my work with the world. Thank you, thank you, thank you. We're not programmed to say thank you ahead of the event. But if we say thank you ahead of the event, what are we observing? That it's already done. And I do that five Times I write down five things I'm grateful for as if they're already in my life, in different avenues of my life, different manifestations. But that's exactly how I do it until it manifests, and then I move to the next. And then I repeat some affirmations that I write down as well. And I'm just forging those new pathways in my brain. And once I do that, it's anywhere between half an hour to an hour, depending on the meditation, then the work starts. That morning routine is not the work. The work is the 15 hours with our eyes open. And I call it playing tennis. If you play tennis, you have to stay on that baseline. And every single day I'm thinking, right, okay, well, what's going to trigger me today? What negative thoughts might come up today? And every time I'm caught off guard, my goal is to bring myself back to coherence on that baseline and stay in my heart. Now, when it comes to manifestation, we set the intention. Our job is to not control or manipulate or work out how that desire is going to unfold and manifest. That is down to universal intelligence. It will happen in divine time. We have to surrender. And surrender is a concept that so many people struggle with. They think surrender means waving a white flag. Surrender is letting in. Letting go means letting in. We have to get out of the way. Here's the analogy I want you to remember, I've just built an office in my garden. We ruined the grass when we did it. So if you imagine with me for a moment, if you ever plant anything in your garden, first you have to clear the rubble. Yeah, the rubble is your limiting beliefs, how you think about yourself, what you're observing. Once you clear the rubble, you then plant the seeds. So I cleared the rubble, and now I plant the grass seeds. So now I have just mud and seeds. And that's what it feels like when we're starting out with manifestation. We clear the rubble, we plant the seeds, and there's no immediate evidence. And then what do we do? We then show up every day and we water mud. So a gardener will water the mud, leave it a day, go back. Do you think the gardener would not continue watering the mud? The gardener, even though there's no evidence, will continue watering mud. So where people struggle with manifestation is they set the intention. And after one day, there's no evidence, they give up. It's like kicking the soil and going, where are you in divine time, when you continue watering mud, eventually there is sign, there's evidence of growth. And we call that Mother Nature, Mother nature, the universe, the quantum field, it's the same thing. You set the intention, and then you let go and you wait for the evidence. But in that letting go, your job is to stay in your heart, keep feeling it as if it's already done, sit back and take action when it's aligned with that vision. If there is some form of alignment that you can take, like Christophe saying to me, hey, Matt, I'd love to host you here in Belgium. Every part of my program is like, whoa, that's a big crowd. I think I'll stay in my office. Thanks. You know, you. You know, is this aligned towards my message to expand this truth to the world? Yes. So you lean in, you take the inspired action, and every single time you take inspired action towards the vision, what you do is you create pathways for that universal intelligence to start rendering that field of intelligence into your lived experience. Because the universe follows the same principle, the path of least resistance. So if you sit back and do nothing but expect a miracle, it can happen, but it will take longer naturally because of the laws of the universe. But if you take some form of action towards it, you create networks and pathways for that synchronicity to show up just a little bit quicker. So what we're going to do now is just practice a really simple intention meditation. And you can do this every day. It only needs to take 10 minutes. But here's what I want you to do first. Before we do this, I want you to just think about an intention you'd love to manifest in your life. It might not be something tangible like money and success and love. It could just be a feeling. I want you to just think about that for a moment. And in terms of timescale, you don't need to go too far out either. This can happen in the next couple of days. It could happen today. It could be something that you're working on right now. Maybe you are looking to manifest a career and you're waiting for someone to come back to you. Maybe you're waiting for an interview. Maybe you're looking to manifest love and you're waiting for a match on a dating app. Maybe you're just seeking freedom or a greater connection to source. Just. I want you to think about something right now that you'd love to manifest. And here's what we're going to do once you've got that, before we do this meditation. It's very, very important when we manifest that we remember that the foundation is always the present moment. So it has to be Present. It has to be real. It has to be done. So if it's healing that you're looking to manifest, I am healed. My back pain has gone. My back pain has gone. You know, I have an interview for this job. You know, the deal's closed, the investors committed. Whatever it is, when you follow my guidance, you're just going to continue to affirm that in your mind's eye as if it's already done. And it could and can be healing for someone else as well. An opportunity for someone else as well. It doesn't matter. So here's what we're going to do. We're going to start with some breath work just to ground ourselves. And then you'll follow my guidance. Okay? So when you're ready, just close your eyes and let's just first bring back any scattered pieces of energy back to where you are right now. Just really feel the ground beneath your feet. If something's distracted you, just bring that energy back. Where we place our attention is where we place our energy. So let's just imagine now we're bringing all that energy back here. Feel it coming down through the top of your head, down to your feet. I want you to imagine now that you're just filling up your energy tank all the way to 100% full, just feeling full of energy, feeling grounded beneath you. And now I want you to start taking a nice inhale through your nose for me. And hold it. And now slowly exhale through your mouth, nice and slowly, feeling your shoulders drop. And inhale again through your nose and hold. And now slowly exhale again through your mouth, nice and slowly. And one more again in through your nose and hold. And now slowly exhale through your mouth, feeling your shoulders drop. Keep it going. And one more. Now in through your nose and hold it. And now slowly exhale through your mouth for me, nice and slowly, Keeping your eyes closed, returning back to your normal breath. Just following my guidance, I want you to bring up now in your mind's eye, your intention. Just be there now in your mind. Just affirm it as if it's already done. Really be there now. And as you're there, just with your eyes closed, just imagine using your sense of sight to really be in that scene, really bringing it alive right now. Just keep affirming that intention. Really be there now. Feel free to bring in anyone you love as well. There in that scene, if that feels right. Maybe you're sharing the news. Just use all your senses. Really be there in that scene, like it's a movie. You've done it. If there's something you'd love to say to yourself in that scene, like, I've done it. I've done it. I've done it. Say it. Whatever feels right for you now be proud of yourself or whatever it else. Whatever you see, just be there. And now what I want you to do is place either your left or right hand or both, whatever feels right over your heart for me. And now here's where we really activate the power of intention. First, where we place our attention is where we place our energy. Let's just now be in our heart. Feel its beat. Just remember it's giving you life. Just love it. Feel the beat. Feel the warmth. And now I want you to imagine bringing your intention from your mind down into your heart. So now hold that same intention, but this time, imagine it from your heart, almost like you're maybe looking down on it. Whatever feels right. And really be there now, really be in that scene, Holding that intention. If there's an emotion, be there with it. Teach your body emotionally what this intention feels like. Remember this future. Really be in that scene. Keep affirming it. Remember, your heart magnetically is 5,000 times stronger. So now, as we put our hands down, imagine a beam of light coming out of our heart. And imagine now that intention going straight out into the field. See it go, Breathe into that we have a coherent thought. And we have the power of the heart. Now sending out a laser beam of energy and light. We're observing it as if it's already done. Keep seeing it. Done. It's done. It's done. And now we finish with our hands back on our heart. And we just say three times, thank you, thank you, thank you. Just stay there for a moment. If there's any feelings or emotions, just remember them. And just remember at any time, we can always come back to this feeling. And when you're ready, you can open your eyes and come back around to me. And that really is the power of intention. All it takes is 10 minutes, okay? So my advice is to do that, follow it, and you will see absolute miracles in your life. It makes me so emotional to know that this is true. And my mission is just to spread this with millions of people around the world. My book is synchronistically publishing on 1111 11th of November. And that was not planned, of course. It was always set in stone before I incarnated here. My editor said to me in January at Penguin, she said, hey, Matt, I think we've got a date for your book. Great. Tuesday, the 11th of November. I said, do not change that date. She said, why? I said 11. 11 is new beginnings in numerology, as you do this work, you'll see synchronicity. The most common one is the repetition of numbers. Pythagoras said numbers rule the universe. I thought angel numbers were too woo initially, but they are real. And there's nine numbers in numerology that mean something. One being new beginnings, nine being completion and endings. So these synchronicities, angel numbers, overhearing conversation, seeing a page in a book at that exact moment, overhearing something on the radio. Remember, your manifestation isn't always a genie in a bottle. It's normally a sequential render of information, turning and collapsing from energy, the wave to the particle. And that might manifest first as a synchronicity or an angel number. And then you can take action from it. So we've got about just under 10 minutes left, and I'd just love to open it up to anyone that's got a question. Anyone who's got anything on their mind about manifestation. Sure. This lady here in the black top there. Yeah. First.
Hand. Thank you, Matt. Have you actually seen your mother again.
Since? I knew I'd get that question, yes. But the honest truth is through. And I was having this conversation yesterday through dreams. So there's so many different ways you can connect to spirit, you know. The first truth is they're here now. Yeah, it's an illusion to believe they're not. They're just vibrating on a different frequency. So I get ringing in my ears. And some people will say it's tinnitus. It's not. And the reason I know that is because when my dad went to see a medium, and my dad is. Well, he is now, but he wasn't spiritual at all. He saw a medium and the medium said to him, martin, are you getting ringing in your ears? And he said, yeah, I am. Like sometimes in the right ear, sometimes in the left. And she said, well, that's your mother, that's your wife, Julie. And when my dad told me that story, my brother James and I both said, oh, my God, we're getting the same too. So I get often a ringing in the right when I'm about to make a decision. And I know that tends to be the right decision and a ringing in the left. But I've trained myself to have lucid dreams, which we all dream. So I always say a good vehicle for connecting to source or connecting to spirit is through dreams. And it's real meditation, too. But I actually haven't had. And I've never chased to either because I don't want to ruin it. And I got very emotional at the beginning when you all thanked your mothers and fathers. But, you know, I wouldn't be here without my mother. And I've only ever heard her words once since. And I don't chase that again because it was so beautiful. So, yes, to answer your question, if you are looking, do you ask that question because you're interested to.
Connect? Yeah. We just lost our mother in.
June. Oh, I'm so sorry. Well, your mother's. Your mother. Yeah, she's here. And the best way to connect is to remember to set an intention as if it's already done. Or I am open and ready to connect as.
Well. And I had another question. Being very like career Cartesian analytical, what would be your advice, like, for a first step into this more like emotional.
World? Yeah, great question. Well, the truth is, I am too. And that's why I love the science. I think science demystifies the mystical and knowledge is the precursor of the experience. So I say, especially if you're looking to change your situation. And this is the mistake I made. I was in a corporate job and all I was focusing on was complete freedom. So just say to yourself, how can I reverse engineer the steps down to what I think could be the next sequential step in that manifestation, allowing the universe to manifest the opportunity for you and to get out of your analytical mind? Very simply, you have to transcend in meditation. You know, so transcendental meditation is great. You repeat a mantra and that transcends you down. You want to get down to alpha. But remember this, every single night, you slide. And when you wake up, you slide in and out of brainwaves. So when you fall asleep at night, you're coming from your analytical down into alpha, theta and delta. So one of the best ways is to have headphones in, you know, So a lot of my clients listen to their own affirmations as they fall asleep, because the subconscious believes whatever it's being told as well. And if you're analytical like me, then just surround yourself with knowledge and work like this, and you'll find it easier to come out of your intellect and into intuition as well. Thank you. Yeah. Hello.
Hi. So it's always confusing for me, the difference between action, chasing and then.
Surrender.
Yeah. Because I end up chasing, chasing, chasing, and I don't know when to stop. And what is align inspired action? I mean, I love.
That. Great question, one that I think so many of us struggle with as well. When to take action and the right action. Because there's two types of action, forced action and aligned action. Forced action is just not listening and just fighting and pushing and trying to force your way through opportunities. I see it like this. Try and imagine having a sailboat, okay? And if you're going to sail on that sailboat, what you're going to do first is you're just going to make sure that the boat's in good condition. You know, there's no holes. You know, you've got food, you've got supplies, and you're going to do everything to make sure you're ready. The only thing you're not in control of is the wind. Yeah. So when it comes to this, yourself, do everything. Are you clear on your intention? Have you removed the rubble and your limiting beliefs? Are you doing your meditations? Are you doing gratitude? Are you following everything? And then sit back and say to yourself, is there anything obvious that I think I can do? Is there anything that just keeps showing up? You know, like something that even I'm afraid of? Fear is often false evidence appearing real. If there's nothing but you're an action taker, say to yourself, what action feels aligned. And that might be reading a book. Yeah. And then you read a book, and that book blows you away because of something that then opens a door to something else, and then you follow it. So I say to my big action takers, you can always take action, but it doesn't mean forcing doors. Just sit and say to yourself, what feels like the right action that I need to take? Maybe. Maybe there's a voice that I need to find time to listen to that podcast. How a podcast is why Beam was created. Right. Think of that. That was a podcast. You wouldn't necessarily think that was action, though, on the face of it. So aligned action is when it's in alignment with your vision, like I spoke about, when I now get opportunities to talk around the world. I'm not going to lie. Fear is there. Who wouldn't be afraid to speak in front of a large crowd? But when you're here, it's fine. But is it in alignment with a greater vision to expand this message globally? Yes. So it's a real balance of knowing what to do. And I'm showing this in real time. I mentioned it. I'm really. I don't want to go too deep. It's called Quantum Annealing. And essentially my newsletter this Saturday is all about the path of least resistance. And a big subject in manifestation is that you have, you know, A lot of people who are successful say, well, I didn't create success with manifestation. I took massive action. There's actually science to me now that demystifies action. Because if you do take action in whichever way that is, like I mentioned earlier, you are making it easier for that universal intelligence to bring opportunities to you. So just say to yourself, maybe it's a journal prompt for you. What action can I take that feels in alignment with my vision? If there is no action to take, here's what you do. You've exhausted all of that. You say to yourself, what emotions and feelings would be present when my manifestation is in my life? You list them all out. Love, joy, happiness, peace, relief. Yeah. And then you say to yourself, what actions can I take now or activities can I do now that make me feel those emotions? I could go for a walk on the beach. I can go and do yoga. I can do this. And you go and act on those emotions and get yourself into emotional resonance. And when you do that, you'll then see the synchronicity come. So, okay, should we take one more question? Yep. Perfect. Thank you for your question. Oh, I think we have two questions. Yeah. Okay, we'll take two quick.
Questions. It's also about parents.
Today.
Yeah. And one of my manifestations before I came here today is to bring my father in contact with.
Marina.
Wow. So, Marina, I'd like to contact you later this day. It's okay for you.
Thanks. Well, congratulations for taking action. Aligned in the inspired action. Yeah. Well done. That's exactly how it works. Alignment has a vision. She's in the room. I'm going to just speak up. That's how it works. Last question.
Hello. Hi, Matt. Thank you so much for this. I have a question. You said sometimes you have these moments that you listen to something on the radio and you think like, oh, yeah, yeah, that meant something. Right? But let's say I'm at the roundabout and I crossed his car and scaring a dead person. I'm like, no, I didn't want to see.
That.
Why? So then I question myself, why am I seeing this? Or why am I hearing something on the radio that. No, I didn't want to hear that. So sometimes I have these moments where there's something coming inside. And I'm like, but I actually didn't want to listen to.
That.
Sure. So I take already action. Not listening to the news or the radio, but when I'm listening to the radio or I'm at the dentist and suddenly I hear something and I'm like, and then actually want to put it off, but I cannot because I'm under control. And. Yeah, so that's my question. How do you deal with.
That? So the question is, instead of saying, why is this happening to me? Why is this happening for me? So what's it. What, what, what, what. What is it showing about yourself in that moment? You know, because we're all going to see negativity in our life. We're all going to be exposed to the news and what's going on, and we're all going to hear negativity on the radio. It's, in a sense, what's it triggering within me that might be highlighting something that I need to work through as well, you know, I think when you do this work, you get really good at spotting that, catching it, seeing it for what it is, practicing the separation and moving past it, you know? So that's the practice there for you, is we did the exercise at the start where I said, say the word hello. We practice the separation. When you hear something on the radio saying, that's not nice, instead of merging with it, you practice separation and allow it to just go by, just like a negative thought. Okay, thank you.
