They Proved Consciousness Creates Reality - (The Observer Effect) | Matt Cooke

Matt Cooke argues that consciousness shapes reality through the observer effect, using quantum physics and neuroscience to explain why most people manifest unconsciously. He claims 95% of our behavior runs on subconscious programming, and true manifestation requires two things: clear intention and embodied emotion, with the heart's electromagnetic field playing a key role in sending a coherent signal to the universe.

What I teach around the world now is that manifestation isn't some magic formula reserved for the elite. We're all in a state of manifestation. What I'm trying to help people with is become a conscious manifester because the majority of people are unconsciously manifesting because they're unconscious of their observation. But again, being analytical, I needed more evidence, I needed science. I'm no physicist, but I love quantum mechanics, and I started to explore that world. And I was like, okay, well, all right, well, if physical reality can be drilled down to this atomic level, and atoms are the building blocks of all things physical, and atoms are very predictable, and we can watch atoms moving around in spacetime, the question is, well, okay, well, Well, what are these atoms made of? And we can drill down into atoms again, and we get to this subatomic level, and we have electrons, for example. And this is what started to blow my mind. These subatomic particles don't behave in the same way. You know, we've heard of the double-slit experiment and the observer effect. These electrons, they only appear when they're being observed or measured. The moment a scientist or a measurement is taken away, they disappear. And then wherever observation moves to, they reappear. I was like, okay, well, where are they going? And where are they emerging from? And then if we drill down again, below these electrons, we get to, well, There's many words: the unified field, the quantum field, source, God, a larger consciousness system, as I love. It's an infinite field of energy or information. So now I'm starting to get it. Okay, well, if something's infinite, if it's an infinite amount of energy or information, then surely that makes sense that if something's infinite, then I could maybe bring some of that then into the physical world. That's got to be manifestation. But the question is, how, how can I do that though? What turns it from energy to matter? And in quantum mechanics, this, this field of information and energy is known as the wave, and physical reality is known as the particle. So what turns it from a wave to a particle? And I've just mentioned it, and it's the most powerful, powerful word, and that word is observation. Observation on a quantum level collapses the wave of information from probability and potentiality into the physical world. It's called collapse of the wave function. The question is, though, Where's your observation? Where is it? What is observation, right? What is that? I want us to just do a really simple exercise here. I want you to all close your eyes for me. And with your eyes closed, inside your head, not out loud, Just say the word "hello" 5 times inside your head. And once you've done that, do it again, but this time say the word "hello" as loud as you can inside your head 5 more times. Now open your eyes. So, a couple of things maybe happened. Maybe you saw the word "hello" as you did that. Maybe you heard the word "hello." Maybe you experienced a bit of both. The question is, though, who heard it? Who witnessed it? Who watched it? Because it wasn't your name tag. The version of you inside that saw the word "hello" was the separation. The witness, the watcher, the observer, the consciousness. So that then means you're not your thoughts. There's a great term called metacognition in neuroscience, which is this ability to think about what we're thinking about. But here's the problem: if we don't practice observing our thoughts, Where's the observer? It becomes entangled within the belief, the program, the thoughts we think every day. And this is why so many of us are unconsciously manifesting, because the observer becomes entangled within the paradigm. So if you've seen the film Lord of the Rings, you'll know that there's a famous scene where Gandalf's on the bridge. And there's this big monster that's coming, and he stands on the bridge and he says, "You shall not pass." And that to me is the observer. We have this choice to become the gatekeeper and decide what we're going to let in. And if we don't like what we see, then there's another beautiful term in neuroscience called neuroplasticity. We can see the monster, and we can change the story, and we can rewire this default mode network, which are these brain regions that fire in our brain through triggers in our external world based on our life and what's happened to us. And at any age, we can do that. Now, most of you put your hand up when I said, "Do you have a dream?" 5% of who we are is conscious intent. 95% of who we are is subconsciously programmed. So why do people struggle to manifest? Because if we're not aware of the separation there, then the dominant observation of reality is subconsciously programmed. So the program that's been wired subconsciously is broadcasting at all times. And I'll share with you, there's two secrets to this in terms of how things manifest. So that was really starting to blow my mind, that observation is fundamental when it comes to manifestation, conscious manifestation. So of course we start with what we want, a very healthy place to start of course with manifestation. But if we understand the very meaning of want Want means haven't got. My message is built on the message of moving beyond wanting. We have to get clear on our desire and then fully embody that version of ourselves that already has it. Because the subconscious brain can't discern the difference between what's a dream and what's real. And I love this because when I was first exploring this work, I didn't like the concept of fake it till you make it. How could I fake having loads of money when I'm in debt? But what I loved about the whole process of meditation is that if I slowed down my brainwaves from busy beta brainwaves down to alpha and theta, and I took my awareness and my observation down there, and then I created a vision for that future, as if it was already done, guess what? The body reacts emotionally to that vision. And we can all relate to this. Whenever you've had a nightmare, you're in bed in the middle of the night, and you're probably in theta brainwaves, and you're visualizing being chased or attacked, and you wake, and for a moment, you think it's real. And you calm yourself down and you say, "No, it was just a dream." But why is your body reacting emotionally to it? Why is your heart racing? Why are you sweating? It's because that part of your brain thinks it's real. So then let's think of this in contrast. What if you took your vision, what if you visualized it as if it was done? Your body would react emotionally as if it was real. So this isn't about faking it till you make it. It's about feeling it till you make it. So there's two secrets in manifestation: intention, which is the vision and the thought for your future, and emotion. And the HeartMath Institute have done some great work around that, and there's some fantastic teachers out there also teaching this. But they know that intention, the thought, the electrical activity in the brain can be measured around about 2 inches from the head. And the heart, though, can be measured about 5 feet from the body. And they know that the heart is about 100 times stronger than the brain electrically, and 5,000 times stronger than the brain magnetically. So if I was the universe listening to your vision and you just held it in your head and not in your body, what would be the dominant observer of reality? I would say it would be the heart. So is your heart and brain aligned with that vision, or is it incoherent, and therefore are you sending out a bit of a scrambled mix or signal? So you'll hear this word, the word is called coherence. True manifestation is a coherent brain and a coherent heart, a clear signal and a clear feeling.
