In this solo talk, Matt Cooke argues that most people find it hard to trust the universe because the outcomes they desire feel far removed from their current reality. He illustrates this with everyday examples—driving on narrow lanes in Cornwall and placing online orders—to show how we routinely trust external systems we cannot see. Cooke then points out that the visible, material world makes up less than 0.01% of reality, while the unseen unifying field (the universe) comprises over 99.9%, a vast intelligence that governs everything from planetary orbits to heartbeats. To bridge the trust gap, he advises reverse‑engineering a manifestation into concrete, near‑term steps, visualizing the result as already achieved, feeling the associated emotions, and then “getting out of the way,” allowing the universe to meet you at the depth of your trust rather than the height of your effort. The core takeaway is that deep, surrendered trust, combined with clear, short‑term visualization, aligns you with the unseen intelligence that creates reality.

Truth is, when it comes to trusting the universe, the reason why most people struggle is because the thing that they're seeking to manifest is actually too far out from where they are. And I don't mean that in a bad way, because why would we trust something we can't see? Think about it. We do all this work, we meditate, we get clear on our vision, and then what? We're supposed to allow something invisible to bring it to fruition? It just doesn't make sense to the way we're programmed, right? But here's the truth, and here's the way I want you to look at it, which I absolutely know is going to help you. I was driving along earlier today in my car here in Cornwall, and if you've driven a car here in Cornwall, you'll know that the lanes are pretty narrow, and you can drive pretty fast down these lanes as well, legally. And what just blows me away is how much trust we put in another car and another person coming our way. Don't you just think about that? Think about that in your own life. When you're driving a vehicle, you just trust that that other person isn't going to just steer into your car. It's just natural that we just hopefully trust that no one will do that. And that equally, when we place an order online, we give away our money, where you hit order, and then we just somehow trust that behind the scenes that's all been put together and it will just hopefully arrive the next day. So why don't we trust in the universe? Because everything I've just explained to you right there, physical reality itself represents scientifically less than 0.01%. The unifying field, the universe, represents over 99.9% of reality. It's the same divinity, it's the same intelligence that somehow is keeping Earth in orbit. I have no idea how, and I'm sure you have no idea how either. It's the same intelligence that somehow is keeping my heart beating and your heart beating, the same intelligence that somehow knows how to grow a baby. Far more intelligent than you and I, yet we struggle to trust it? What? That makes no sense. So if you're struggling with trust, my advice is to reverse engineer down your manifestation into a simple step. What could your manifestation look like in the next couple of months? And actively try and see it in your mind as if it's already done. Feel it emotionally if it's already done, and then just get out of the way and use the same level of trust that I've just explained to you in this video. Because the universe meets you at the depth of your trust, not at the height of your working out and struggle. Trust me.
