When I work on an SEO project with a client, it looks like this. We are on a calendar where we're meeting weekly for a period of 4 months, could be 6 months depending on how big the project is. We're starting with branding and understanding ideal client. Once we know what the client wants and what they're interested in creating for themselves on their website, then we get into keyword research to really answer the question of how does the world look for what you're offering? Once we understand that, then we configure what the website needs to be. So we're really thinking about at the highest level, how many pages do you need? Do you have them? Are they new? We're sorting through all of those details around your website itself. Then we move into writing and we're doing copy editing on content you already have, or we're writing new copy. If we're writing new copy, we're writing outlines for you so that they're laid out for SEO.
