So what is an SEO audit? I'm Melanie Gorman. I'm the founder of Crownsville Media. We're an SEO content creation company for helpers and healers and all-around super cool people. Most people like me offer an SEO audit as part of the onboarding process for new clients. What it means is that we're going to go using tools under the hood of your website so we can figure out what's going on. We're looking for everything from broken links confusing URL structures. It's a lot of technical things behind the scenes to try and understand how fast your website is, where your website has problems, and what can be done quickly or with a bit of a project to fix everything that's happening for your website so that you can achieve your goals. I'll tell you this too, SEO audits should be free, right? In my personal opinion, you don't know if you can actually help a client until you've looked under the hood of their website. So when clients come to me and they say, hey, can you take a look? I never charge people for that because I want to know what's wrong and if I can help them, because sometimes I can't.
