In this video, we'll be looking at how you can connect to a VIVI device's web console. There are three ways to connect to the web console via VIVI Central by connecting to the VIVI device's WI FI hotspot or by using a keyboard and mouse on the VIVI device. To connect to a VIVI device's Web console through VIVICentral, visit admin.vivi IO in your browser and log in. Select Devices in the left hand menu, then click on the VIVI Devices IP address to be taken to the web console. To connect this way, the VIVI device needs to be be already connected to the same network as you. You are able to connect to a device via the VIVI device's WI FI hotspot. This is particularly useful when the device is not currently connected to the network. To do this, if it is currently powered on, power it off, then power back on the VIVI device. For the first 10 minutes, the Vivi device will output a short range WI FI signal. You will be able to connect to this with another device such as a laptop. Search for this in your device's network or wireless options. The VIVI hotspot will be name vivi, then the last few digits of the device's Mac address. To connect, you will need to enter the password of VIVI Admin, where the I's are replaced with exclamation marks. The third way to connect to the web console is by connecting a USB keyboard and mouse to a VIVI device. Once they are attached, power on the VIVI device and press either F1, F2, F10, F12 or delete to open the web console. Upon opening the web console, you will be prompted to enter a username and password. The default username is admin and the default password is vivyadmin where the eyes are replaced with exclamation marks. Once connected to the web console, you will be able to change the settings of that VIVI device. This includes adjusting network settings and enabling power management and running firmware updates.
