Enabling room codes allows for more control over who can join a VIVI room. Aside from a normal login, when room codes are enabled, users must enter a four digit code in their VIVI app to join a specific VIVI room. Room codes must be enabled through vivicentral First. IT admins can toggle on the room code for the entire organization or specific rooms. Once the room codes have been enabled in vivicentral, teachers and students attempting to log into the applicable VIVI classroom will be asked to enter the room code listed on the lower left hand corner of the classroom display, enter the four digit code and select Submit. Teachers, students and other participants will then have access to the VIVI app. Additionally, teachers can choose to enable or disable this setting temporarily through their VIVI app. Once logged into the VIVI app and connected to a room, select the Settings cog in the upper right corner. Select Room Settings. Check the Room Code box. Toggle the Room Settings bar for the duration the room code should be enabled, then select Apply Settings. Enabling room codes in this manner only allows for a duration of four hours at a time. To disable room codes, follow the same steps but deselect Room Code and select Apply Settings.
