I'm Bob Betts. I'm the director of technology with Bryan County Schools in Georgia. One of the biggest complaints you'll hear, especially old schools, but even in new schools, teachers don't like the way the classrooms are laid out. Teachers want to be creative these days. They want to have that collaborative space, flexible space that they can change on the fly. VIVI provided that solution for us. It got the teacher untethered and then with the advent of flat panels in this world, that really made it super flexible because now you can put them on a mobile stand and if the teacher doesn't like the way the room's laid out, as long as they have electricity, they can set it up however they want.
We use viviz in conjunction with a flat panel and our teachers will create interactive lessons which will allow the students to go up to the board and they can click, drag, drop, draw, write and play on the app on the panel. And they think they're playing a game when they're actually learning. So again, it's keeping students engaged and on task and keeping the.
I think it's opened up the communication world for teachers as well. Our students, particularly in schools like this that are 100% Vivi and flat panel no longer have to think about it. There's an expectation of the ability to collaborate, show your work and communicate with your teacher. So with the IFP's, we found that some platforms performance wasn't quite as solid as what vivi's is. Over a cloud based architecture, I know that VIVI gives you better options, more availability for more features. VIVI is not just a casting platform. It is a collaborative communication tool as well as a presentation tool.
Everyone at Bryant county elementary uses VIVI and we love it. It is used in our classrooms, it's used in our media center, it's used in our cafeteria. We love VIVI and it's used every single day at bc.
