St Peter's College uses Vivi to run whole-school presentations across multiple campuses during COVID-19. The platform increased student participation and reduced technical support calls, making it simple enough that teachers didn't need constant help.
And again, it just always worked. We didn't need to muck around with different types of cables and different types of connections. The teachers have said that it helps them with the students sharing their data and sharing what they've done on the screen. And that's really helped with student participation because they're seeing it on the big screen and they're sharing with their peers. With COVID 19 the key area that VIVI has allowed us to continue going is the ability to keep the students feeling part of a larger group. Key areas are that we can still do presentations at a whole school level and we use the VIVI solution to broadcast across a campus, across a building, or across a whole school. So house assemblies still continue and we have the student involvement and the teacher involvement in those presentations. The key one that got our management on board is that ability for the principal to address the whole school like they would have in a very large assembly. Ivy works beautifully in a multi campus environment in the same way as it works in a single campus environment. Teachers see just their campus if they wish to, but within the flick of a switch can see projectors at the other campus. So if staff are moving from one campus to the other, there's no confusion. They know how to find what they need to find to present. It's one of the few products that we just don't get the help desk calls asking for assistance that we do get with a lot of other products that we've used over the years. Teaching to moving from front of the class to in the class. And we knew that if we only did it at part of the school, we couldn't change the habits that were key for improving the teaching in the college. We saw a number of things change when we implemented vivi, and some teachers were faster than others. But it was a good steady movement throughout the whole curriculum. Teacher.
