We're an independent school in Melbourne. We have two campuses now. We're in a new premises, and it was a great opportunity to put some new technology in the school. What I love about VIVI is as a teacher, I can walk around in any space within the classroom with whatever device I have, be at the back of the room, engaging with the students, engaging with the content that's on the screen.
It makes the lessons a lot more engaging when the teacher is able to walk around the classroom, because they can go right up to us and talk and present straight on their device. While they're carrying it around, they're being tethered to the front of the classroom. And it allows the lessons to be a lot more interactive because we can take screenshots of the board and draw and answer questions like that.
It's also really easy to say to a student, you know, when they're presenting their presentations, throw it up onto vivi and I can hand them over control, and they can just present really easily.
When we got the test unit in, we had it up and running within the first sort of 10 minutes, and the quality of the video and the ease of use just blew the competition out of the water.
Those teachers that want to connect and want to do it straight away had no issue. So I'm the least technical of all. But after some PD on it, it's really easy. VIVI have been terrific.
They're very responsive. Only a phone call or an email.
Away, constantly in connection, you know, updating.
Software, and any problems get sorted out quickly.
I would absolutely recommend VIVI to other schools.
I love that it doesn't matter what device you have, Whether it be PC, Mac, iOS, Android, you can use your device.
