A walkthrough of Vivi's digital signage platform for schools. Learn how to build playlists, add content and widgets, set schedules, and display them in classrooms, hallways, and cafeterias to engage students and staff.
Welcome to vivi. Vivi's digital Signage connects students and staff using your existing classroom and common area displays. Let's take you through creating a new signage schedule in the Signage section of VIVI Central. We start by choosing our desired layout. In this example, we opt for a two zone layout with a widget on the left and content on the right. Clicking Add Content followed by Playlist brings us to our available content playlists. Here we choose the middle Square Weekly playlist and add it to our signage schedule. We want to display a timer on the left, so we click Add Widget, select the timer from the available options, and configure the timer to our specifications. In this case, we set the timer for 10 minutes before saving. The next step is to name our signage schedule and then choose the destinations where we want our signage to play. We set this schedule to play in Classroom A and B. Moving on, we select the dates and times for our schedule. We configure our signage schedule to run daily for one week during school hours. We finish by clicking Schedule Signage. With vivi, you can create any number of signage playlists and schedules, setting them to appear where you want and when you want, such as in hallways like here, where you can use signage to keep students moving during passing periods and remind them of upcoming events in classrooms, as in this example, where classroom rules are reinforced when the display isn't being used for instruction, and in cafeterias where the day's menu can be shown during lunchtime or other content can be displayed when the cafeteria is being used for other purposes, like what you see.
