A walkthrough of the Vivi Wi-Fi Easy Installer tool for IT admins and guest installers. Shows how to set up Vivi devices without pre-installation work, create guest installers, and build profiles for different installation types.
Vivi's Wi FI Easy Installer tool allows for greater efficiency when installing VIVI devices into your organization. It is particularly useful when using contractors or temporary staff to complete the installation. Wi FI Easy Installation allows either IT administrators or authorized guest installers to configure the Vivi devices via the Vivi app without needing to do any pre installation setup of the devices. Guest Installers allows people who do not have a login for Vivi to complete the installation. To create a guest installer in vivicentral, select the dropdown next to Installation then select Installers. Select the yellow Create Installer button in the pop up. Give the installer a name. Provide email address or addresses for the installers. This step is optional. Choose a start and end time for the profile to be available or if the profile will be available forever. Select Create. Once created, take note of the four letter code displayed on screen. Profiles allows you to choose the type of setup different installers will be doing. To create a new profile, select the dropdown next to Installation.
