This massive risk that I took actually paid off. So back in 2019, I was managing multiple clients who paid 10k to 25k a month for my services. Comforting, right? Well, not really. Yes, the money was good, but the demands were just relentless. So my wife knew I was burnt out. My team knew it. I finally had to admit it to myself. And it hit me one day. Comfort is the friend of average. And being average, well, we all know that sucks, right? So something had to change. I wasn't about to wake up three years later still trapped in the same cycle, miserable. And that's the opposite of why I actually became an entrepreneur in the first place. So I started reflecting on my journey. Everything that I had built, done, and learned along the way. But when I thought back to 2009, actually, something clicked that year. My life was simple. I'd wake up, send an email, and then spend the rest of my day however I wanted. Man, it was glorious. So for nine months, my wife, Susan, and I traveled, traveled the country while I ran a business that didn't require endless client calls or constant hustling. So in January 2020, I mapped out my next venture. The goal, Build a business that supported my life, not that other way around. So fast forward to today, all right, as we record this, the last four years have been building audiences, sending newsletters, and enjoying my day. So if you're reflecting on this past year and thinking, what's your next move? I'm here to tell you, make the move, design the life that you want, and build a business to support it. Right? There is no better time than now, so get to moving.
