Day 3 - Architecting Growth & Leadership Bootcamp (H2R Series)

In this Day 3 session of the Architecting Growth & Leadership bootcamp, Dr. Niladri Bihari Nayak shifts the focus from theory to concrete action. He recaps Days 1‑2 (succession architecture, career‑development, opportunity marketplace, AI‑enabled talent intelligence) and then introduces the implementation roadmap for SAP SuccessFactors projects using the six‑stage SAP Activate methodology (Discover, Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy, Run). The session walks through a fictional banking‑sector case study (Bharatiya Mahabank) and demonstrates how to curate case‑study documentation in Notion, define business intent, context, and AI‑driven prompts for each work package. Dr. Nayak explains the creation of detailed work‑packages, regulatory risk considerations, integration landscape, and hyper‑care post‑go‑live activities. He also outlines the broader learning ecosystem – tiered membership (Diamond, Gold, Silver), 20 specialized labs (strategy, build, certification, career‑acceleration), micro‑learning curriculum redesign, and the mandatory use of SAP Cloud ALM for project governance and operations. The session ends with a call to action: participants must start implementing their chosen case study, engage in AMA sessions, and share progress on the SuccessLabs Academy platform.

Hello everyone, welcome, welcome, welcome to our day 3 of the boot camp. So let's then get started. So how many of you have joined the day 1 and day 2 of the boot camp? Just to complete those series, and then today we are going to start. So let's then get started with today's boot camp. And let me share my screen. So just to have a quick revision in the day 1 and day 2, what we have covered. In the day 1, we have covered the entire foundation and the succession architecture. What is the succession model from that point of view? Uh, we had a foundation of succession management. We talked about, uh, the concept of, uh, entire succession org chart and the base position nomination, talent pools, so many terminologies We also have seen from an enterprise architecture lens point of view, how does it work. Then in the session 2 on the day 1, we covered the succession configuration deep dive, the different types of nomination method, picklist, role readiness forms, settings. And also I've asked you to go through the succession data model, which is there in your typical platform foundation and employee center. We already done that. So I have this homework for you. Then we also talked about succession implementation strategy utilizing the template. You have already got it as a reactive template and using that how you can start your implementations, uh, WhatsApp, conducting requirement gathering. I know that this is too much for a one-day activity, but definitely that is just an idea to plan for now so that you have to plan it properly in the upcoming days, whether it is for your typical hackathon process, which is the 90 days process, or if you're going to a real project, it will be preparing. This is the boot camp for preparedness. Okay, so you are prepared. Then also we talked about AI and future of talent intelligence. We talked about skill intelligence, how does it matter, and how about the AI-powered succession planning, how can it be useful. Okay, those part we talked about. And also towards the end of the day, day 1, we talked about different career paths, what exist. Okay, but it's actually some planning and, uh, career development modules. And we talked about different kind of salary structures, what kind of opportunities available. Okay, and towards the end also I've asked you to give me a homework to design a certain strategy for a fictional company. And for this time we have given multiple case studies and for different region, and you can pick up any of the case studies depending upon the region or depending upon your preference. Okay, so with that note, uh, we will— so we also posted the second day. Second day was all about your career development, talent growth. So here we focused on the CDP architecture in the day 2, and the development goals and career worksets, how we can configure those. Then in the second half, we talked about the very interesting topic, Opportunity Marketplace, okay, and how does it work. We talked about skill ontology. We have seen an example of a banking sector, BFSI, banking and finance sector. Then we talked about the mentoring architecture. We talked about right? Then we also have, uh, spoken about, uh, the leadership mentoring, AI-enabled mentoring future, how does it work, okay? So those details we talked about. Then, uh, that is how we ended up our day 2. Now today is day 3. It is all about taking actions, okay? So today is all action-oriented. Then let's talk concept, but we will be taking actions, okay? If you have not finished the day 1 and day 2, okay, if you're watching this recording, you can catch up the recording definitely. And I highly recommend to go to your learning, your hub platform, our Success Labs Academy hub platform. So I will log in as a student now. I will show you where exactly this content are placed. It's in a container. I'm showing you the container because the container is more important nowadays. So you will going to the your platform, that is your— if you are for the joining for the first time, we have our main website, that is your successlabsacademy.com. And from that, if you go, uh, we have a hub, we have hub and school, right? If you click hub, it will be redirecting you to the this particular page known as hub.successlabsacademy.com. Right, and in that, so you just simply go to the course here in the top. You will be seeing those things. Just a minute, we're defining the courses here in the top, and inside that you will be finding— you're not defining directly as a Successory and Career Development, rather the name of the bootcamp is Architecting Growth and Leadership. Okay. So this is the bootcamp, okay? And we have already updated the— now, uh, for the day 1 and day 2 is almost more than 8 hours content, and you have to finish them sequentially. You cannot go to day 2 and day 3 directly, okay? So the day 1 is having around 8 lectures of around close to 5 hours, 4 hours 49 minutes as of now. Day 2 is almost 3 hours and 27 minutes, and we will be closing the day 3 today. And as we progress, you will be— it will be getting also uploaded here in this, okay? Today will be very comprehensive sessions, so, and so I'm expecting that you go through today and you would be, uh, I'm sure you'll be able to go through, uh, the certification process. And if you are not certified, okay, so those topics we'll be talking about today. So today we will be having two concepts, okay, but a lot of action items or preparation you have to do that, okay. So that is all about the first part. We had a reflection and also coming to the case studies, if I'm talking about, so let's say We had a very nice planner for you. So you'll be seeing that this is how the planner looks like for day 1 and day 2, what we have covered. D1S1 means day 1 session 1, okay? Similarly, D1S2 means day 1 session 2. In this sequence we followed, okay, the entire day 1 you will be finding here, okay? Similarly for day 2, this is what we have covered. Seeing the same sequence of videos also are placed in our platform. And now today is a day 3. So day 3, we will be having this, uh, we will be covering, uh, first of all, okay, the project management point of view we'll talk about. Now coming to the case studies, also the industry case study which I was talking about. So still we are finalizing, so you'll be getting it for very soon. So still we are cooking it, okay, in our lab, and we're still preparing more. But I will show you that you don't have to do a lot of, uh documentation and all. We are going paperless. When I say paperless, truly paperless in terms of documentations and all, right? So what you will be having is this time we are very much simplifying this, this entire thing. You will be finding like this. So what we are doing is like this, okay? You would be having a Notion-based structure like this, okay? So where you will be having all things placed in one category. Yes, so you'll be finding like this. So here you can see that all the 11 GICS sectors we have covered, and this time we have given financial case studies for India from an Indian banking sector, DeFi sector, and also we are working on industrial sector, manufacturing sector from US, and energy sector in European region we are giving. So there are 3 case studies, and also we will be checking if any more case studies we can give it to you. So how does it work? So simply you have this page, this would be, you will be on a specific page, you will be putting there, you will be able to copy this. Okay. And also we will be giving that. I will see, figure it out how I will be giving access to this. Okay. Because this is in my own learning lab now, but the case studies are available like this. So you can simply expand or you know, collapse it like this. Okay, suppose you will be taking a financial case study, simply go here, open this tab. Okay, and you will be getting the finance case studies like this. Okay, so this is how easy it will be. And let's see how I'll take the feedback because this is the first time we are doing in this way. Okay, so you can see this entire BFSI case studies in one place. Okay, so it starts with a quote, it starts the organization profile This is based out of Mumbai and we have just named it fictional, okay? Then fictional name you have given. This is a real bank, but kind of we have given a fictional name to it, okay? And we provide all the details. How does— what will be the requirement, what will be the possible, you know, uh, business requirement, what are detail external system, internal systems, okay? So all the details, this is how typical in-depth case studies will be having. And you need to understand the case study first before you go to the implementation side of it. Okay, so this is the case study you need to understand thoroughly, understand the system integrations and everything. You can see that how— what are the possible things they can have from a business requirement point of view, then how actually you are going to configure this thing. So the higher configuration loop you will be getting, and all the details you will be finding in detail here. Okay, so this is all about the industry case study which I was talking about, and it will be replicated across all the sectors. And this is the way we will be going ahead, okay, from sectoral approach point of view. Okay, so this was all about the case studies which you will be receiving, and based on your interest, you can participate in any of the case study and you start implementing the case study because it is, it is all about doing only. Okay, not only about learning, learning, learning, if you're not doing anything, so it is not about learning. So learning is zero if without doing. Okay, so you have to implement first and then, uh, definitely we will talk about it. Okay, so that was the intention behind today's session. So all about today's, uh, intent is all about action. Okay, take action. Okay, so day one is all about— it was all about the alignment. Day 2 was all about accelerate, and today is all about taking the next step, action. So with that note, we will start with the second part of today's session. That is your SAP SuccessFactors project point of view. How do you actually really implement this project? So we have a template. If you're utilizing SAP Cloud ALM, that is great. But from a practice point of view, we also have a template for you. Okay, so we have taken those ideas, inspirations from the same module of section development. We have converted into a dashboard like this. Okay, and exactly the 6 stages if you are having, and if you're following Workday, Oracle, or any other modules, you can follow your methodology, but pretty much same. Okay, but similar steps, we may be having different names to it, but I don't believe something drastic change will be having in terms of methodology. Okay, so you start with the Discover. So there are 6 stages, as I said, in this entire journey, and you will be having Discover, Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy, and Run. Okay, so in the Discover phase, so once you go here, you will be having, uh, you are, you understand customers' breadth, their functionality of a particular module. Okay, so you can align your entire banking sector project, right? So you can see that there are examples we have taken. Right, so what you can do, so I will be doing the same activity what we have done it the last time. Last time we have did it for a real estate company, okay? This time we will be doing it for the banking sector and India and other examples. Anyway, I will be sharing it with you if you are doing a self-paced manner, okay? So multiple case studies, but you to pick up one case study to start with and then you can always proceed to the next. Okay, if you're interested. So what we will be doing is for each and every activities whatever we are doing in SAP Activate, right? So we will also trying to understand each and every component part of it. Okay, what is the meaning of it or what is the context behind it? Okay, then only we'll be understanding all of this, what does it mean for me? Okay, so now what I will do, we will continue with this case study, uh, for our baking sector. I will say that We had a banking sector case studies, and for that we have to curate it. Okay, the curation is the key here. So the discover page, as I said, we are having 4 things now, but we have to curate it for our case study. Okay, so now what I will do, in the discover phase we are having 4 things, right? So now what I will do here directly, I will be going here and I will say that curate this case study, curate this discover page. Create this Discover page for— do you remember the case study which we have given to you? So like, so you can just bring the context to here and we will be doing that activity directly here. So the case study was this, okay, for Indian bank, uh, Indian leading Indian bank we're talking about, right? So that financial case studies we will pick up and from there we will be proceeding. How does it work? Okay, this is the, uh, Bharatiya Mahabank, the fictional name of that bank, and this is the scenario. I will just pick up this, okay, and, uh, I will be utilizing this, and, uh, let me put it here. Let me go to the— this, create this Discover page for an Indian bank, leading Indian bank, leading Indian bank. So we will see that, and Bharatiya Mahabank, it will be creating for that. So let's do this exercise. So very simple. And as I said, we have in the discover phase, we are having 4 things here. One is your implementation scenario. What are the possible implementation scenario you will be having? Okay, so I will just quickly take you through what is their current state. Okay, define the implementation strategy. Okay, so we're talking about implementation strategy. Whether it is already you are having SAP SuccessFactors, Employee Central has been already implemented or not. Okay, so those kind of things you will discuss whether you are going go live with big bang or you are going, you know, one by one rollout, right? Then also we talk about high-level implementation approach and phasing, effort estimations, developing the scope statement. The scope statement is something, what is the scope of your work? You must have received your RFP already, and based on that RFP, are you going to follow exactly the same thing, or you have any discussions, you have something which is aligned with the RFP? Okay, so those things will be also part of this first thing in the Discover page hierarchy. Second thing is Discover, actually all about organizational change management. Okay, so because this is a career development planning and the succession both the modules, you have to go through a lot of change management from the way you work earlier, right? It will be different, right? So from that point of view, you will be having, in this particular page, you can find— so they have already updated the particular Discover page. So for the— you will find based on the Discover page content, this is what exactly we have received. Okay, you can see that what are the possible tasks. Okay, so you can see that for this bank, what you'll be doing. So to define the program reason, guiding principles, success metrics for that particular bank, and also define the functional scope by module and release. Okay, so what is exactly— have you already implemented Employee Central and other prerequisite module for this? That is also to check. And third one is define employee automation coverage model. Is it happening for all the reason all the time? Like retail, corporate, MSME, you may be having different, different segments. Okay. Or all the reasons at one time, okay? Or it will be going to roll out time, means time to time, okay? So how we are planning to do that? So these are all discussions, okay? You have to define, document it, everything, okay? Then you define your target operating model for service delivery for your self-service for this entire module. And this is not done module by module, by the way. This is done at the SuccessFactors level, at an entire HR platform level. And in that you talk about how exactly you are doing and who will be having what kind of a role in the— even for career development and succession, you could be the leading, you know, so from the both the side, whether from a client or consultant side, your consulting company side, okay, maybe you are part of implementation partner, okay, who will be having those kind of RACI matrix, we'll talk about it, the target operating model, everything. Then we define an ecosystem integration. So like, uh, whenever it comes to the general— this is actually have given for a general for almost every modules. But thing is, from a succession career development point of view, also to think about it, what are the different aspect of it and all of this. This is actually this case study, whatever you're designing, this is for the entire SuccessFactors model. But anyway, you pick up what, how it is relevant. So as a consultant, whether you are career development management or succession planning, succession management consultant, you to pick up how does it actually matter to your particular cycle, particular module. Okay, so that is what exactly you'll be doing in the Discover page. Now coming to the regulatory risk and controls. So this is also because banking sector example, we have a lot of instructions from the Government of India, RBI, there are SEBI, IRBI. So same thing will be happening for other case studies also, whether it's the US or your European region or Middle East, okay, or Africa region or Australia, New Zealand. You will have your own regulation or own controls, right? So similarly, in that way, you have to think about it. So these are all possible risk and control discovery. It is not only applicable for career development or sufficient for the entire platform, okay? So if you're doing for the entire platform, so in that case, you don't have to take a lot of actions, but just to ensure, uh, how you are doing it for your own module, okay? So that theme you have to think about. Suppose You're talking about the identity, identify the data classification, residency, retention. So what kind of data requirements you will be having for your module, okay? What kind of security requirements you'll be having your own module, those things you have to discuss here, okay? So that is something you will be doing here. And define vendor governance and outsourcing control, all these things are okay. So training partners, okay? So all these things you talk about it. Similarly, current state, this is a very important activity. It's a current state point of view. You will be right. So these are at a platform level, whatever I'm discussing at a platform level, by the way, for now. But how actually— so I'll be giving a live example how we'll be doing it in a session for this particular module. Let's say I talk about the K2 development model. So how I will ask the questions here, like how I do that for, uh, make it contextualize, or I will say that how to do, let's say, give me, uh step by step. Give me steps to implement 0103. 0103, all 6 stages or all 6 tasks. They're all tasks actually. If you're following SAP Cloud ALM, it update there. Okay, because we are not having that now whenever I'm teaching, So for that reason we are doing it in Notion. Otherwise the same thing we'll be doing in the Cloud ALM, which is free of cost as a part of your project. Okay, all the task for, let's say, I will talk about because now we are talking about career development module, right? Career development. So you'd ask a contextual question and also talk about the business intent. Okay, so that is very, very important even if you are using AI. Whenever you're using AI, these two are very important for career development module in SAP SF. The business intent— so this is the context, give me steps to implement. And the context, I will say the, uh, I will say this is my context. Context is this. And what exactly also I would require? The business intent. What is the business intent behind this context is, I will also give that because that is how system will understand. This business intent is, uh, to have successful career, lifelong learning, lifelong learning, and career fulfillment, which is really missing these days. Very few, very few organizations, very few able to tell that we are fulfilled, happy about our jobs, right? So career fulfillment, so that is my intent, this I will be setting today as a, let's say, business owner, or you think like a CHRO of that public sector bank. So career fulfillment, happy life, okay? So I'm just little bit in, in detail I'm going happy life, okay? So society Happy society, prosperous society, leading to— this is the intention the business is setting today, leading to happy life, prosperous society. Okay, so this is the— I'm in the setting of the context. Uh, what is the context? And what is the business intent behind it. Okay, so these two things I'm doing, and I may do this activity for each and every phase. So just— I'm showing one example because I cannot do everything for in a short period of time. Okay, so that is a homework for all of you. So you can try with this any of the AI, it will be getting a— okay. And also I need this in a tabular format because it will be easy for me. I can put it in a tabular format. Put it in Notion table format. Okay, so let's see it, how does it work. So same prompt I can utilize everywhere, okay, just have to tweak little bit, okay. And, uh, let's see what is the outcome. We can always, uh, if it is not meeting our requirement, we can definitely update it, okay. But let's see the first outcome of it. Where exactly we are doing a current state HR landscape analysis. So already you have talked to the HR and you already understood what is their current state landscape and what is the future state we are discussing with them, right? So this is a pretty much— you have to do this activities, I think, to take some time. Okay, otherwise what you have to do— so this is still working on that. Okay, so now we have got it. So this is in a tabular format, okay? And how exactly I'll be doing it— so I will verify first, then I will accept it, okay? So this is the business intent. As I say, enable successful career, lifelong learning, and career fulfillment that contributes to a happy life and a prosperous society. So we are thinking big here, okay? So here, if you talk about in this entire 1.2, the current landscape this entire thing, whatever you are doing it, right? So these are the different steps they have given to me, like inventory current applications and ownership. So like from a career development point of view, what are the things at present we are having, okay? Identify the upstream and downstream systems for the talent modules, okay? Create an application interface inventory. What are the application inventory? Can have any custom applications and all. And what is the outcome? Outcome is you know, to identify the owners, the asymmetrics, career development ecosystem, whatever the things that have— I know big companies like this, they have multiple systems, okay? And they must be having a lot of, you know, siloed product also. Similarly, I have to check— next point is assessing data quality. So how I'll do that? So career data domain, career skills, competency, job roles, whether everything is there or not, right? Do a data profiling activity on our current, current sources like account competency, then duplicate data, because quality data is very, very important. There might be some missing job codes. So all the quality check you have to do, okay? So data quality report, okay, you have to take. This is a data quality activity, data activity. Maybe you can talk to an analyst in your company and all, and all these things you have to check. The third thing is identify any customization you have done, any kind of policy rules, custom policies in your legacy HRMS, okay? It might have done, it might be your SAP HCM if you're utilizing before or any of the old models. So those things you have to identify, identify and document those, whatever the carrier policies you had, what is relevant today, what is not relevant today. Okay, so those things, policy to SuccessFactors mapping. So that is something we're going to talk about, we'll discuss. Okay, then map each and every policies if possible to standard SuccessFactors capability. Okay, whatever the roles, permissions, MDF objects, all those things you have to do that. Then identify what can be done, what cannot be done. So from a design decisions point of view, you talk about that. Then you document, govern, and all those changes, schedule, framework, skills, paths, program. Okay, document that. That is the third thing from identifying the customization and rules policy embedded in the legacy HRMS point of view. Then also do an assessment of integration landscape. Integration landscape point of view, you have to think about integration patterns. How is Employee Central to Career Learning Development Plan? What are the content providers, especially from an LMS point of view? But here, career development point of view, you do not have that much. But you think about it, how do you monitor? How do you reconcile those things, right? Migration strategy, performance and scale constraint, everything we'll talk about it, okay? So in this way, this is actually pretty much simple, and I think this is, it has done its job. So in this way, you can leverage the power of AI. And for each and every pages, but you have to understand the quality of your outcome. So maybe whatever I receive, this is the outcome you may or may not get depending upon your quality of your context and intent. Okay? So that is what exactly I meant to say. This is a 1.3 point of view for this particular work package. Okay? And for the banking sector, this is primarily designed. But you can do the same thing for the other sectors as well. Okay, so I think it is pretty much straightforward, and I will go ahead with this. And if any tweak required, definitely I will collaborate with my business. Okay, the HR VP and all those people, if they, if they want anything to be done, so they can definitely help me out to tweak it. It is a collaborative activity. Okay, so according to that, you have to partner with them. Okay, and same thing you can also do it for the others also, like a business process discovery. At present, what are the business process they are involved? Okay, from a performance, from a career development planning point of view. So here you don't have to do everything. So in this process, business process discovery, the task point of view, maybe the 4.1 to 4.4, uh, those things are already done by other consultants. So to follow focus on 4.6 only. 4.6 is all about the Talent, succession, and leadership development, critical roles, well-strength branch leadership pipeline. So here you have to talk about what are the processes they're following, okay? Document that, discover that. If you're utilizing SAP Signavio tools like that, it will be much easy, okay? If not, still you can do. And I remember in one of the steel companies, manufacturing steel company, we did this entire activity. This entire activity only took us 3 months. That was a mini project itself. Okay, but you may not be having that kind of a luxury or budget to do all those activity. So you just briefly ask them what are the different processes present they're having. It might have been already discussed during the pre-sale stage, but still you can do this activity. Okay, so this is the idea. And for this program point of view, as I say, this is the 1.4, okay. Especially the activities we do, the process discovery activity. Okay, so in this way you can continue with this, and I think, uh, this is the board which will be helping you to continue this activity. But this is what I have explained for Discover phase. Okay, so this is all about the Discover page. Okay, and same way you can continue your work in the next phase. So after Discover, we go to preparation stage. So same banking industry example, we will continue. And here what exactly we do, these are different activities we do. So I've already documented this, right? How do you start and what are different tools for implementation? So definitely these are, you've already implemented Employee Central and similar modules. So you don't have to do all of these things again and again. Just you need to check. So I'm sure this must have been already done. S/4HANA Cloud LMS is all about access part of it, team enablement part of it. Okay, there are project governance part of it, right? Project standard infrastructure. It's already— I'm sure if you're implementing succession career development modules at all, these things are mostly taken care of. Okay, so but still you have to verify, okay, because people— organization, they do not implement succession career development module in the beginning itself. Rather, mostly I have seen 99% of the cases, they start with the core model and these models comes at a point of time. Okay, if they are doing a phase-wise approach, wave-wise approach, usually this comes at a second phase, third phase, like that. Okay, so after the core models are implemented, they're up and running, and then only they usually go for it. So this is actually common for every module, by the way. So stakeholder analysis, communication plan, fit to standard, works of preparation— this is a very important step in this entire preparation stage, I will say that. So let's say we will do the same activity. So let's say we will, for the BMB, our Bharatiya Mahabank, right, our case study. Okay, so let's say I will say that prepare me for a Bharati Mahabank, uh, P2S workshop. Okay, so I will be doing this activity. So how do I prepare for this? This is the most important part, actually, in this entire thing. Okay, so I will say that prepare me for this particular— other things are very much, pretty much common for every, uh, module, but you will be finding this particular method for the preparation stages. You will be finding here. So I, I will say that, prepare me for this. So let me do that. Prepare me, uh, prepare me for this, uh, for act like a, act like a solution architect. In top-notch consulting firm and prepare me for this. Prepare me for— what was our case study? You have to give the case study name. Okay, Indian Bank, Indian leading Public Sector Bank, Public Sector Bank Bharatiya Mahaban, BMB. Okay, so we're just using a fictional name, BMB, for below tasks. Okay, for career development module. Okay, so we are very focused here. So we are taking the case study name and also we're talking about which module we needed. So in this way you can very quickly, very easily you can do all of this activity. And wherever you are deviating, definitely you are there to judge because AI will not doing everything for you. Okay, so let's do this activity in Notion table format. I will always ask you by table format because it is easy for me to, you know, review and everything. Notion table format. Okay, so let's do it activity and we will see this. So to do this, I will not go to the entire thing, but only this segment part, because the F2S, fit to standard workshop, is very, very important in this context, right? So for the reason, you have to do these activities and let it craft it for you. Otherwise, pretty much need analysis, enablement strategy, these are pretty much you know, you can do that. Okay, so these are, uh, very easy. And if you already done it for the other modules, definitely I'm sure you will be doing for this module as well. So nothing so different. Okay, so this is, uh, in preparing. And next is once it is done, you understood that your requirement, what is a fit, what is, uh, not fit. Okay, you will be able to understand those things directly. Okay, then it will be easy for you to navigate. So you can see that this is the 2.18, the work package it is actually. So this is called actually, each and every point is called as a work package. Okay, so your 2 point, uh, whatever you're talking about in technical language or in architectural language, 2.18.01 is a work package, 2.18.02 is a work package, right? So you can see that it just created a work package for me for each and every segment, and what is to be prepared, inputs you require, and similarly what exactly the key questions you will be asking, or you can validate with the your team. So I will be accepting it. So you can see that how nicely it has prepared me for the entire Fit to Standard workshop. So you can— now I always feel like these are like a mountain because for the reason I can actually usually keep— whenever implementing a project, if I feel like climbing a mountain, right? So here you will be seeing, uh, what are the inputs to prepare. So when I'm preparing for this workshop, you can see that what are the possible agenda you will be having. And I can see that for the career development specific, okay, you can see that what is the org model they're having, what are the segmentation, career policies, this kind of documentation if they're having, right? Uh, are it— are they also extending it for the unions and all, or no? right? Who are the different approval committees? Okay. Similarly, the entire process maps, forms, approval exceptions, pain points, what are their legacy system rules? From a career development module point of view, you need to ask. Okay. And from a baseline point of view, you must be having by this time you have a demo system access and everything and all. Also, we are coordinating with all the stakeholders who are actually dealing with this particular module, career development module, most of the talent people. The talent body of people will be part of it. The L&D, they are career development. They're mostly, okay, so those people will be interacting with, okay. Then also identify all of these things in the agenda. So I'm not going to thoroughly all of these things, but I just give it a direction which you can take it forward and let me know if there's any issues at all, okay, or any clarifications required, okay. So in this way, you also follow your IDP, that is your implementation design principle. Right? What is actually relevant for your career development module? Okay, think about enterprise architecture standards, which I always tell. Okay, follow the principle, follow the standards, because that will be your North Star in this entire success of your project. Okay, so, and if you're doing any kind of analytics, what kind of a scope you are having, this is a little tricky. Whether you're having analysis of those SAP Analytics Cloud, People Analytics, if you're having any data lake, data warehouse, because for the bigger companies like this, I talk, I on bigger companies, okay? So they have a lot of data, okay? So they must be having data, data lake, data warehouse, okay? All those things, all set up. Are they integrating those things? All those things also I need to check. And so this is what exactly, uh, you should be discussing. So we have a lot of points here, but I have discussed only one, which is a very, very important in this entire preparation activity. Other things, definitely you can do it very easily. So you're finding that, uh, 2.1, 2.2 supporting tools. These are pretty much from system point of view, you can do it, right? These are all Cloud ALM access, everything you can do. But only thing, this part which I thought of sharing, a little tricky, and you have to follow this process, okay? So these are all straightforward project planning, project governance. A lot of things will be done by the project manager himself or herself, right? But as a solution architect As a consultant, you also must be knowing this part of it so that it becomes easy for you to understand the entire processes for you. Okay, so this is the preparation stage which I was talking about. I think in the same way, I will not be going through each and every phases, uh, but the realization phase also you contextualize. I already told you how to contextualize, how to write a business intent, because that if you're doing, this is super easy. Okay, for implementation point of view, what are the key activities you'll take in each and every stages? Okay, each and every phases, okay, of this entire I think we very much, pretty much, we have kept it here. You can see that for this is a comprehensive page, and here we also maintain how you can do this entire activities for your career development module, right? So you can see that this is a pretty much easy, and you can do it. And what actually I have done in this, it's a 4.21 here. So here you have to do it for the your module, not the entire thing. So I have given it for every modules here. So you have to do it for the 4.21.07. So this is the only thing you have to do for this, because other things are already done by your other consultant if those modules are in scope for your project. Okay, so that is the way you can do. And also, how does it impact release cycles and all those preparation, testing, test script, okay, documentations. So if you're utilizing SAP Cloud ALM, it is must. It is actually should do that way. But here from learning point of view, I'm saying I'm just preparing you, okay, for the next stage. Okay, so in this way you can prepare your realization stage and everything, and finally deploy and all kinds of cut-off. Or you should be ready with all kind— this is very, you know, last— towards the last phase, take a sign-off and do after all the testing and everything is done, right? If any issue, defects, just try to close them as soon as possible. Then finally you are ready for the go-live. Okay, so this is the way I will say it is very comprehensive way we have designed. We have actually taken the entire SAP Activate methodology for here. So let's say you are doing the same thing for other modules. So let's say other module in a sense, other product I'm talking about, right? Then you will be having your own methodologies, right? So let's say for Workday, okay? So how it is done for the Workday, suppose I will talk about, right? So I can still explore Workday and Oracle, Oracle point of view, uh, how they do it and how Do they follow their methodology, methodology for career development? So we will see, have an inquiry on that career development module. So pretty much similar, I'm sure, and, uh, put them into two different I'll be asking, put them to two different pages. Okay, so I will take a help from here and let's see. So this is very interesting to know the cross-modules also. So you can check it out, uh, how your other parents and colleagues, uh, they are doing the same thing in a Workday and all. You can verify with them. But pretty much principle-wise, if you talk about this is a flow every organization, every product, every consulting companies They may be having different fancy names to, from a marketing branding point of view, okay? But ultimately the core is same, okay? So the core, uh, sequence flow will be all, that is pretty much same only, but, uh, it could be slightly different from a product point of view, okay? So meanwhile it is preparing, uh, we will check what else we have left today for this particular session. I think our hypercare, after the implementation is over, you have to go for 2 weeks of hypercare. Usually then depending upon the contract and all, you will be proceeding ahead with other things. Okay, so that is what exactly we mean to say when it comes to the, your typical project implementations point of view, and you have to pop up those activities and all. So this is all about this project implementation. So thank you for joining in, and ensure your task will be the way I have shown you. The intent, the business intent, which I was talking about each and every pages. You think, even if you're a consultant, you think like a business owner, HR VP or CHRO. Put the business intent, put your context, give a context to it, then leverage AI. Okay. And coming to your typical, any of the pages. So we have talked about 6 pages, right, in SAP Activate. Discover, prepare, explore, utilize, deploy, run. Then you'll be getting meaningful results. Otherwise it is just maintaining clerical data. Okay, so this is how we do not want people to do that way. Do it in a meaningful way. So the way, the trick which I have given to you, you just follow that and definitely you can update your SAP Cloud ALM, all the steps. I know that 90% of the students in the corporates, they do not follow that. So, but you strictly follow. It will be my advice that SAP Cloud ALM is a must for any other projects in SAP. Okay, you should do that as we speak. Okay, and if you do not know how to use it and all, it is pretty much easy, just like any other tool. You just go to learning.sap.com, there is a self-paced course. There pretty much so much foundational courses are there, but the thing is people do not take interest in learning that. Okay, so they just focus on the— their only specific configuration. They do not Most of the people, I would say, I know there are many people, they cross-skill, up-skill, spend time, invest time and energy to learn something new. But I'm talking about the mass. So here, if you go to learning.sap.com, if you search for SAP Cloud ALM, you will finding the detailed in-depth learning step by step. And this is also, you can start using it. So if you see, I'll talk about SAP Cloud ALM. I'll be getting a lot of materials. So you can— there is a systematic learning journey also. You can see that Introducing SAP Cloud ALM, which will be 4-hour program. It's beginner-friendly. And they are in multiple languages, by the way. So I will— you can go through— this is the English one. Same course is available in multiple languages. French, German, in German language in other cases also. So there is a learning journey also, Transforming for Success with SAP Cloud. And this is an intermediate program, but as a beginner-friendly program, you can go with this. This is a certification program. If you want to specialize, it's okay, especially for the QA people. If you're a tester, if you are a quality analyst, those kind of thing, you can go for the detail about it. But operating is also good one. This is also a secondary intermediate course, okay? If you have not done it, you do it. And for beginners, this is a 4-hour learning journey. For our course. Okay, ideally you should do— it is for everyone, by the way. Do not think that I'm not a tester. You're a tester everywhere. But how do you use for— how do you evaluate the value of the Cloud ALM in the implementation project? How do you— it is applicable for every project. Okay, so not only limited to any of the modules, every module. So ideally you should do it. And also you should guide, you should teach also. This is a two segment. One is the implementation segment and there's an operation segment. So as an implementation partner, you should be knowing all of these things. Maintaining the quality, maintaining the deployment, maintaining other entities, okay? And to the solutions, everything can do it, okay? But again, from operations point of view, also guide, train your people, train your end user, business user, how do they use it, how they will monitor it, their IT people, okay? Then all the things you will be able to perform in your Cloud ALM itself. So it is complimentary, you do not have to pay extra, uh, in your project. So if you're a GCC in India or outside India, globally, ensure you're having this already. Okay? So you can utilize it the maximum benefit of your company. Right? So this is what exactly— this is my thought process. You have to go through this. And also there is a learning journey. It's an intermediate learning journey also. If you have time, you can go through the entire toolchain. Okay? This is Cloud ALM. We also— how do you set up the Cloud ALM? How do you implement the Cloud ALM? Then we have a— how do we harness all this? This is purely a certification track. Okay? If you want to learn more, you can always go through this track as well in the future. This is an intermediate track. And operations point of view, this is what exactly is an 8-hour operation. This is all how-to-do activity. So for operation analysis, monitoring, business management, is a little bit like this. And this is also free, okay? This is— you can get through it also, okay? So this is my advice. You just have a look into it and leverage, okay? Working as an internal consultant or resident architect, okay, resident consultant in any of the industries, and as the internal consultant, okay, talk to your business, talk to your IT basically, okay. They have to deploy it. It is a one-week activity, and then you can— it is not only limited to implementation, for all of the release update also, whatever happening, that those things also can continue. Any kind of a change management activities, any kind of a change request, okay. Enhancements, everything you can do it. Okay, so this is pretty much— I will highly recommend you have to do that. So I think this is all about the different 6 pages which I talked about, and you can do the same thing in a very nice way. Okay, so that was all about this particular sessions, and, uh, in the next sessions we'll talk about the case studies. Okay, and, uh, we will see, uh, which are the case studies you can work upon. Okay, and, uh, Because though when you go to the bootcamp time, so you have to do execute those case studies. So now you're aware of this case studies, okay? Now we are having awareness of those case studies, but in the bootcamp, after the bootcamp is over, so we are given a time. So you can also do this now also, like what are the basic minimum, the prototype, okay, things part of it, basic minimum, minimum viable project. I say you can do that in this 3 days, 3-2, and also you'll be 1 week of time after the completion for today's stuff. So you'll be having another catch-up in the after 7 days. And if you're watching it online in your YouTube or you are watching it, you're in our learning system, so we can have a catch-up, okay, based on the demand, okay. So then, uh, if any questions, I can take it up, okay. So those things will be part of our AMA sessions continuously. So today also we'll be having an AMA. If you do not have any questions, definitely those AMA sessions will be continuously we are doing in our, in our platform. So definitely you can take an advantage of that OK, so I highly recommend, as you're seeing, we are having a lot of initiatives. And also we are revamping the entire curriculum structure to make it more microlearning format so that you can take action. We're also compressing the time, right? That means whatever people used to take 90 days, 6 months, what they will be able to do is using AI in a very short span of time. OK, so that is very, very important for everyone, all of us. OK, so this is what exactly initiative at present we are taking. And, uh, people who are already part of the Diamond and other Gold members, they will be having prior access to this, okay? And for Silver, you'll be having a limited access for a couple of particular modules here. So these are the different, uh, flow we actually designed. For others, you will have your Discover screen, but other module, these are kind of a pretty labs we have designed. For everything, we have a lab, okay? If you talk about strategy, we have a strategy lab. It's a strategy lab. Okay, similarly for designing solutions, building the solutions, you're getting a build lab. Okay, and if you're having any kind of expert connections, those kind of communications and all, we'll be having a different lab for it. So 20 labs you'll be having like this in the upcoming, uh, the currently we're rebooting our system and redesigning our system, and this is how it will be looking like. And you'll be having access to specific lab based on your need. Okay, if you're planning a certification, there will be certification command lab. Okay, if you're preparing for a jobs interviews and all, this would be the lab for your position. Okay, School of Career Acceleration Lab for Excellence, SCALE, we call it. Okay, so this is something in plan, and you will be able to— already we are planning on this, and you will be having an access based on your membership. Okay, so that is what exactly— who are in the Diamond, they will have all the access. Okay, but other members, uh, you will be having limited access based on your module, based on your membership. If you're not a Diamond, it is high time to invest, okay, on the Diamond membership, okay, and, uh, continue learning journey with us, okay. So that is the intention behind, uh, how life— having a lifelong learning, because I also do the same thing from my mentors. I keep on learning in different, different, from different people, different circle, local, global, okay, all those sectors, okay. So you can continue learning journey with us like that. Okay, so with that note, actually I'm signing off here and we will see you in the next session. Next session will be all about your— we'll talk about the case studies part of it, how different case studies will be giving to you and what are the different— how do you approach case studies. Already I have shown you some of those, but how do you approach it end-to-end part of a case study. Okay, so with that note, we will stop here. See you in the next session. And make your notes, share your learning in the— in our platform. So how do you share your learning? You can simply go and, uh, you can go to the communities and you can basically share your— what is on your mind, right? So you can share your learning here and you, okay, create a post, okay, with a picture. If you're doing your activity, I'm more than happy. So in this way, we will continue our learning journey. So thank you. See you there in the upcoming sessions. Thank you.
