Hello everyone, thank you for joining in. So welcome, welcome, welcome. Just let me know where you are joining from. Are you joining from India, US, any other country, Australia, New Zealand? Okay, people joining from different, different parts of the world. So welcome back to our Thursday procurements, the Procurement Thursday we call it, right? So welcome back, welcome back. And this is a prime time webinar, so let me share my screen and we are going to talk about the solution scouting today, which is you might be knowing understanding what is the meaning of it. So first of all, I will be discussing the procurement capability matrix. Then we will be going further to the other topics today. So from a procurement transformations point of view, from a business capabilities point of view, capability group point of view, if you talk about it, right? These are the different capabilities we will be having in a typical. Point of view, I will say from a role point of view, so there are different categories, right? So I will talk about first of all what are the different categories, the level 1, level 2, level 3, we have categorized those things, and also like a source-to-pay operating model, we'll try to understand that, then we will talk about procurement process foundations, then we will talk about supplier performance and corrective actions, then procure-to-pay control, Invoice verifications, then we have strategic sourcing and RFQ execution, purchase requisition, category management, service procurement. These are different different topics we do have. Okay, in category, then level three will be having supplier qualification, risk management, contract lifecycle and compliance design. And the final one is the architectural roadmap, like enterprise document transformation roadmap. We talk about that. Then also we'll talk about that also how it is applicable across the sector, across the industries as well. So. From a procurement point of view, so you will be a part of already the members in our platform. You'll be getting a members copies. This is a member copy for all of you, irrespective of your membership. Depending upon your membership level, you will be having an access to it as well. So where we will be having this entire portfolio of solutions, and we are having different boot camps also for this entire thing: architecting the procurement strategy. We have a Intelligent supplier sourcing, contract excellence, relationship. So these are different capabilities, and also we have mapped it to a procurement process area as per the Epic QC standard we talk about it. So there are different boot camps, and there are around 132 approximate— not approximately, exactly— we have 132 boot camps, capstone challenges we are doing it for you. And same thing will be applicable for across the group and across the industries as well for all of you. So primary focus is on SAP, but we do not ignore any other products as well. So those are welcome in our portfolios as well. Okay, so this is what you will be getting. Now coming back to the procurement point of view, so you will try to understand a little bit about before we go ahead, right? So first of all, you try to understand the entire sector-wise how does it look like and from source-to-pay operating model. So what is the meaning of a source-to You know, very, very beginner-friendly notes we will be preparing. And in this understanding, we will be also understanding from different industries' point of view, different sectors' point of view, right? So for that, we will be doing activities today. So to do that, we will be going back to our solution scouting process. And in the solution scouting, we will be utilizing— so these are the 11 different GICS sectors, and based on that We have segregated them into these are the SAP point of SAP solution scouting point of these are different sectors we are having it and because this is not enough we have to map it okay we have to map it to into our platform so what I will do I will be going back to our platform we have a world of work sectors okay inside that what we do have is and we do have from a sector point of we will try to understand the map it okay so first of all we will be going to energy sector in energy sector we will try to understand how does the solution scouting how we can do solution scouting. If you're working for a project where you have a solution scouting for a procurement point of view, okay, so we'll do that mapping today, okay. So let's do that exercise first of all. Now what I will be doing that for— to do that, we will be going back to our, uh, specifically from a procurement transformations, uh, foundation point of view. So what I will do, I will be capturing those things in a copy here And then we will be going ahead with the other topics. Okay, so this is what exactly I was thinking to share today, and let's then get started. We will be starting with the energy sector. Okay, energy sector, how does the procurement happen? And, uh, so, and also what are the solutions, possible solutions we will be utilizing to leverage that, right? So with that note, let me go here. So this is the public notes, and I share with you, and I have a copy for all of you, this, and you will be getting those who are already part of the members. In our platform, okay? So here you will be going here. Typically, here what we have: there are eleven GICS sectors we've identified, and based on that, I will be capturing this for you. And what are those eleven GICS sectors? So every sector has its own capabilities, and every has their uniqueness, right? So we will be starting with energy sector today, okay? And from an energy sector point of view, these are the different product, not a product, I will say different titles which you are having it. Now I will, what I will do, I will be mapping here. So today's topic is not about configuration, not details. Those details will be part of our boot camps and hackathon. So stay till the end to get an opportunity to join our platform. So otherwise, this is pretty much available in our, you will be finding them directly in the school platform as well. So if you go to successlabsacademy.com And from here also we can enroll in our platform directly. So we do have a foundation program, essentials, and yearly advanced program. Okay, so we can start with the foundations to start with. All the details are available in the website itself. This is a lifetime, lifetime membership program. Then we have a gold and diamond, which are your yearly subscription program where we go in depth to implementation side of it. And in your typically your diamond platform, you Diamond membership, you will be getting the architectural point of view. Okay, so those details are available in our website. Just go to curriculum programs and you can invite your friends, colleagues, whoever wants to explore any of these things. Okay, so you'll be finding all the details in this platform itself. Okay, so with that note, let's then get started to do our scouting. And for that, we will be having some AI codes already I have planned for you. So those details we will be utilizing it here. And from a procurement point of view, as I said, there are different dimensions of it. Okay, so there are— we will be focusing on different dimensions. So from a procurement point of view, these are the different dimensions we can see that. So we have a source to contract, procure to pay, strategic sourcing, supply. These are the different, different dimensions, procurement dimensions. So we'll be capturing that, we'll be considering these dimensions whenever you are Preparing our solution scouting exercise. Okay, so what are the different dimensions? These are different dimensions. Procurement point of view, we will be scouting for these kind of a product, okay, available in the market. Okay, and we are vendor agnostic, although we are focusing on SAP. But if most of the organization they are having this, but having said that, we'll be also doing a justice to other products as well. So depending upon your, you know, whenever the selection criteria, we will be So coming to the energy sectors, we do have, let's say, this is the sector we are talking about. So this is the solutions mapping, and we will be focusing on this part of it. So using AI, we are using it, and energy sector point of view today will be— so this is the criteria for today. So for today, so we'll be focusing on energy sector. We'll start with oil and gas energy sector, okay? And we will be doing the scouting for that particular industry. Then we, once we are done, then we will be Going to the, we will be repeating the same process for other industries and sector. Okay. So we will start with oil, gas, and you know, so energy sector. So this is a sector we'll be focusing today in the episode number for this series, for this first episode of this series of solution scouting exercise. So if you see here, typically oil and gas from a core value chain point of view. So we do have understand that in every industries wherever we are going, we'll be finding two part of it. There is a core value chain. And there will be supporting functions. Okay, so here you will be finding in this particular oil, gas, and energy, so core value is what for them? Your basically sustainability, exploration and production, asset management and operation. So this is the core, and I'm also talking about the cloud part of it. We'll be focusing on cloud only. Okay, so hybrid also option is there. But we will be focusing in this entire journey, focusing on the cloud part of it. Okay, and for oil and gas and energy sector, if you talk about it, so they have— there are different exercises, there are different other part of it. We'll be talking about latter point of time. But now let's say, um, from a procurement point of view, so there are multiple things you can see that. So exploration production is one of the key thing for oil and gas and energy that we will not be focusing on today. We'll be rather going to supporting functions. So supporting functions, so you can see that HR is there in human capital, which is always we cover in the Monday Workforce Monday topic. We talk about that finance we cover on the usually on the Wednesday. So social sourcing and procurement side of it, this is the solution scouting we'll be talking about today. So this is a map you can remember. Okay, basically what we can do to do this activity. So you can go to this particular website. This is pretty much available, publicly available. Okay, so I will be focusing on this side of it. Okay, so let me— this is the core value chain. Okay, so this is the supporting functions. Okay, so this is the oil, gas, and energy sector point of view, industry's point of view. This is the— so what we will be doing this exercise in the energy sector, we'll be putting here. Okay, so this is the oil, gas, and energy sector. So let me do that activities, and for that we will be utilizing our— you can utilize ChatGPT. Today we'll be utilizing ChatGPT, and otherwise you can utilize any of the other sectors as well. So we'll be utilizing this solution scouting activity, and this is our core value chain. Okay, so let me do that activity here. So I will go to this particular segment, and I will be going to the Tools which you are utilizing, you can utilize energy sector thing. Okay, so let's say I will be saying I will go to energy sector today. Energy sector. So today we'll be focusing on energy sector and inside that oil, gas, and energy. Okay, so this is we will be focusing on today. I will say that today we will be focusing on energy sector. Okay, so energy sector, let's focus. And oil, gas, and energy subsector, this is the Core function for energy sector. Then we will stop the image. We do not need an image, but let's see that whatever it is creating. Then we will be having the next part is we will be having here is the supporting function. So if you see the core functions for any of the oil, gas, and energy sector, we will be talking about different session anyway for this topic. Okay, so there are multiple things we are having it here, right? So, uh, we have EHS, your environment footprint management, holistic steering and reporting, okay, asset management, complex manufacturing, field service management, okay. This entire flow you'll be saying here, exploration production, this is a pretty much, you know, important for an oil and gas sector. So ideally what happens if you go here inside, you will be finding, uh, what are the solutions, what are the capabilities, and what are the all the details you will find here. So we are not going there inside it, okay, because today we'll be focusing on the supporting functions. One of the supporting functions is procurement, okay. So from a procurement point of view, if you see, this is how the procurement cycle means the entire supporting function of procurement looks like. And here what we will be doing here is, let me go there, and this is the entire procurement point of view. So I will be saying that it's having everything, okay. So but we will be focusing on the procurement today. Okay, so this is the entire supporting function cycle. And if you talk about it, right, so let me go here, entire thing, and I will be putting here into the AI. So it will talk about what exactly things are done. So you can see that entire thing, it has, it has procurement capabilities, source to pay for oil and gas. And so yeah, it's the— this is the core functions. And, uh, yeah, so this is what exactly they're talking about here in this entire diagram. Procurement capabilities and its synergy sector, what are the modules available, everything they are talking about here. Okay, so the next part is what exactly we're talking about. The next one, okay, next one is the supporting functions. Okay, this is the supporting procurement comes under here, supporting function. So this is the details we are having in this particular, and we will be going further in this, uh, okay. So we will try to understand inside the, uh, processor Sourcing and procurement. We have operational procurement if you go here. So let's say I will be focusing on sourcing and procurement side of it, right? And here in sourcing procurement excellence is in a network economy they're talking about, and the pricing keeps on going, going up, and how we can innovate and all of these things. And there are few of the innovation items. So if you see here, and directly they will be going to an innovation roadmap. Of SAP, right? And you have to log into that and you have to check it out. This is a board again, so you'll be finding exclusively for a typical procurement cycle point of view what are the different, you know, new things are coming up. Okay, so all autonomous. Yeah, so got it. So these are upcoming innovations. You can see that they are coming up, right? A roadmap from a purely from procurement point of view. Okay, and they have mapped all of these things, 31 things you can You can see that, right? So if you want to see, these are different solution capabilities they have included, right? You have a central purchase order processing, central purchase requisition requirement processing. These are all topics whichever you are seeing it here, right? These are all part of your procurement topics, okay? Supplier discovery management, supplier classification and segmentation, supplier invoice processing, Supplier recovery claims management supplier proposal evaluation service entry seat processing for services procurement analytics for external workforce field glass vendor management system supplier invoice collaboration SDN purchase requirements processing S/4HANA Cloud Public. Then we have self-service requisition S/4HANA Cloud Public purchase. We have a supplier Marketplace management. Okay, so then we have a proof of service management for services. Then we have a sources of supply management. We have a supplier RFX execution, supplier warranty claims management. We have a supplier invoice receipt management for external workforce, Fieldglass vendor management system, supplier data management for external workforce, again Fieldglass vendor management system, supplier onboarding, Ariba SBN plus SAP. SLP. Okay, so we have a trading partner network management, SBN again. So expense auditing for external workforce, field glass vendor management system, travel booking management in Concur, travel and expense compliance validations. Then we do have a travel network management, it's happening in Concur, expense reporting in Concur, corporate card management in Concur, supplier performance management, SLP. Okay, so that is also part of this. We have supplier data management, SLP, supplier classification and segmentation for external workforce. We have a central supplier invoice management, RIBA, CIM, supplier RFX preparation, supplier awarding. We have a proof of service management for contingent workforce, operational procurement, contract management, purchase order collaboration. Then we have something travel and expense, we already talked about analytics in Concur, on-trip experience management, Concur, expense auditing in Concur, supplier risk monitoring and Ariba, supplier discovery management, SDN, supplier classification and segmentation. So these are all of the 36 filters whatever we have applied, right? So you can see that. So these are capabilities and all these are things coming up, okay? A lot of agents are also coming up. You can see that there is an invoice approval agent, invoice contract validation agent, okay? A lot of agents are coming up, okay, everywhere, okay? So you'll be finding those things coming up, agents and humans working together. And these are upcoming things which you will be finding here in this entire roadmap up to 2027, and they have given here already. So, and there are certain things which is in the product vision stage, you will be finding that supplier awardings, we have supplier proposal evaluation, supplier RFX execution, supplier RFX preparation. These are all upcoming things, so you will be finding in the upcoming days it will coming up. Okay, so now going back to our solution scouting side of it, we will be going here and we will be seeing here sourcing and procurement, where there are upcoming innovations. Okay, so now what about the other segment? Okay, other segment we'll be starting, say operational procurement. Okay, so if I see operational procurement, suppose this is what we want. Okay, how do you go about a particular solution? So you can see in the left-hand side mine, so there are some solutions, so there are some capabilities we'll be finding inside this. What are the capabilities you will be having? Central Purchase Order Processing Cloud Public. So this is suppose I want, right? So what I need to do, I need to simply add it here. I have to have collections here, okay? So what I will be doing here is I will be creating a collection, okay? I need this. It's just like putting in a wish list, okay? I need this, I need that, okay? So maybe for our solution, so let's say what are the solutions available and what are the capabilities we'll be having here. So typically from the solutions point of view And these are mandatory things you have to have, especially for oil and gas sector. Okay, these are mandatory solutions: SPS for public cloud, Ariba procurement, SAP Business Network for procurement, and SAP Business Network for supply chain. So procurement and supply chain, those are both are different. So today's series will be focusing on procurement, and Friday we talk about supply chain. So that's a separate topic. Okay, we do have a Fieldglass integration Suite. We have a managed gateway for spend management. We have SAP e-commerce, all of these things. There are definitely roadmap items we're not talking about today, but these are the different things which you'll be having. So these are list of solutions: guided buying, lease and contract management, operational quote management, purchase order processing. We have purchase requirement processing, purchase source assignment, e-commerce trade-in order management, e-commerce self-service requisitioning, self-service स diagram, supporting function procurement. We have highlighted here in the procurement, these are the activities we will be having here. Okay, so this is again alphabetically, it has been put it here. Okay, and what we will be doing is the core and this is supporting functions as we have already discussed. Okay, and inside this we do have a lot of other things and we will be talking about now. Okay, so now we will be seeing from SAP Solutions point of view Okay, these are the different SAP solutions. And other than that, what we will be having here is, uh, your, uh, in this particular categories we have these different capabilities. This is the solution, these are those capabilities. Now what I will be doing is, okay, and for this, so we'll try to understand the capabilities. Okay, so what capabilities we'll talk about? So Central Purchase Order Processing S/4HANA. So what does it do, right? So if you want to go here It would little bit explain what does it mean, what are the business values, is there any AI offering is there. Okay, so what is the solution? What is the most important part is the business value out of it. Okay, so what we will be doing is we're targeting this part of it and we will be putting all of these things together. Okay, so that we will be finding a holistic approach. So for any of the solution for this particular industry, okay, we'll be rewriting a case study. Okay, so we'll be saying that we'll be developing a case study. Uh, develop a case study focusing on Middle East for this kind of, uh, approach. Then the company is using particular below SAP solutions, and also they have certain non-SAP solutions as well in their portfolio. Okay, so focusing on Middle East. I will say that. Okay. Uh, no image. Business case in Notion. Okay, so I need the business case in a .md file. So I'll be creating a .md file in .md file format. That's a markdown file we call it, which will utilizing the GitHub and all. Focusing on Middle East for this kind of approach, the company using these solutions. And also we will tell that also. So if you go back here, so each and every solution we'll not talk about here now. So rather, yeah, solid gas and for operational procurement we'll be utilizing this maybe. Okay, so this is for operational procurement. Okay, so for operational procurement this is the solution, these are the business values, and these are the AI offerings. Okay, so this is what again we can give it here. Okay, so for operations procurement, this is the solution. Okay, okay, so this is the capability point of view. One is operational procurement, we have seen, right? The next one will be Okay, so the next one will be here. Okay, so material group, it will be recommending all of these things are here. It's okay. Okay, so next one. So this is I will be adding here. So this one I will be adding here. We already understood this. Okay, we'll be adding into our portfolio. Okay, so this is our, I will say, energy sector, and we'll putting all of the energy sector related topic into GICS 01. Okay, so that is the— we will be talking about here the GICS. Here we start, it stands for Global Industry Classifications. Okay, so GICS is a framework or as a standard we have. Okay, Global Industry Classifications. So you'll be finding that. So I'll be putting inside the GICS 01 so that it will be easy for us whenever. So if you do not know anything about GICS, just to search for it, you GIS classifications, you'll be finding all the industry and sectors in the globally— the Global Industry Classification Standard. It's a 4-tier system which will be categorizing all the companies into sector, industry groups, industries.
