Short transcript excerpt describing 'GenFree,' a ministry initiative focused on communicating the gospel and the freedom in Christ to younger generations. Speakers emphasize preserving the core Christian message (Christ’s death, burial, resurrection, ascension; faith and repentance) while adapting how it is presented so children can grasp and receive it.
Dan, would you expand for us for our listener and maybe a new listener about genfre? Could you give us one minute? She just mentioned that she's partnering with us in our genfre work. What is that for people who don't know?
Yeah. GenFree is simply the aspect of our ministry where we recognize we need to get this message of the gospel and the freedom that Christ has secured for us to the next generations. And so we recognize that, you know, in a sense, they speak a different language and we're not changing the message, but how do we communicate it? How do we connect with kids in such a way that they can grasp the truths of who Christ is, what God has accomplished through the death, burial, resurrection and ascension of Jesus? What does it look like to walk by faith and repentance and have a living and active relationship of trust with him? So really, it's just, how do we. How do we translate that into and pass it along to the next generation?
