In this opening segment of the YouTube episode “When Steve is out of pocket, you're the man in charge” from the Stories of Freedom series, host Neil T. Anderson welcomes back guest Josh Sharda. The hosts recap Sharda’s journey: his initial conversion through Bible college, missionary work in a remote African village, subsequent ministry in Uganda, and his official affiliation with Freedom in Christ International. They announce his current positions as Head of New Discipleship Resources and Deputy Director of Freedom in Christ International, noting that he steps in for Steve when needed. The tone is celebratory and anticipatory, setting the stage for a deeper discussion about ongoing work in Africa, Uganda, and the development of new discipleship resources.

Well, welcome to Stories of Freedom. Today we have Josh Sharda back with us. Josh, it is great to have you back on Stories of Freedom. Welcome. Thank you. Glad to be with both of you. Amen. Hard to believe that it was 2 and a half years ago that we had you and Mandy on to share your story of freedom, how you had come to Freedom through some Bible college experiences and then going onto the field in Africa in a very remote village, how God has preserved that work there and advanced it even, but then how the Lord took you to Uganda. You officially got connected with Freedom in Christ and some of the things the Lord has done in Uganda through your ministry. But now you are the head of New Discipleship Resources for Freedom in Christ International. That's right. You are the Deputy Director for Freedom in Christ International, which means that when Steve is out of pocket, you're the man in charge. And so there have been some developments, and we look forward to hearing about you and the work of God in Africa, Uganda, and through the New Resources work. So thank you for all that. Yeah, fantastic.
I appreciate the invitation and really excited about what God is doing. And yeah, he's amazing, and I hope today he receives a lot of glory. Amen. Amen.
