I always used to say Steve had this dramatic salvation story and mine was rather boring. I mean, I literally said Isaiah 53:6. He was wounded for Marianne's transgressions. He was bruised for Mary and so on and accepted him into my life and didn't really have any dramatic changes. Well, and actually part of my issue was that I, I asked him into my heart. I decided I was going to live for him. And yet I spent the next 22 years in fear, in doubt. Every time I was heard a gospel message, I would say, you know, Jesus saved me. I don't know if I'm saved. And it wasn't until I realized, until I went through the steps to freedom in Christ that I realized he saved me back then he changed who I am. I became his child. I became a child of God who can live and breathe and have my being in him. I don't have to be afraid.
