I was reminded by a family friend of ours who's actually a missionary, and she has been single all of her life. And she always had said, you know, you want to be able to serve God better together than apart if you get married. And so that had always been a model for me, even though she herself never got married. She had, you know, devoted her life to the Lord. But that was always in the back of my mind. As much as I had wanted to be married, I did not want to marry the wrong person just because I was lonely. And I can attest to waiting for God's timing. It is worth it. And so God was very faithful during that time. And even if God would have never provided Gary, he was still faithful. It would have been okay to be single the rest of my life life, if that's what God would have had.
